“While in Washington for a special event I needed someone to care for my senior dog for several hours a day over the course of two days and Rachael came through for me. I knew my dog was in a safe, caring place and in capable hands. I would readily use her services again if in the vicinity.”

“Yvonne was great with Pluto who can be a bit shy and anxious with new sitters; suffice it to say he didn’t want to leave both days he was with her and had so much fun snuggling and going on walks- she was so patient in accommodating my last minute request too so we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Having Jiahna care for Gideon has been a real pleasure. She was very helpful and flexible as we did a meet and greet and evaluated if Gideon would be a good fit. She took time to ask really good questions about Gideon and learn all she could so it's the better care for Gideon. From the get-go, Gideon loved being at her house and sharing time with her puppy. It was a good fit. I always knew that Jiahna had Gideon's best in mind, and I always got good reports at the end of the day. So very glad that I got to meet and have Gideon stay with Jiahna. I highly recommend her as a safe and professional Rover person for your canine needs. Gideon will miss her for sure and I have really appreciated the care and great connection that she showed in caring for Gideon. 💜🐕”

“Samson had a great time spending the day at Davids!! He got to play with other dogs, go for fun walks and also just chill. Thanks for the pictures and video David, we truly appreciate it.”

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

“We had a fantastic experience with Anita as our dog sitter! She accepted our request on very short notice and responded quickly, which was such a relief. Her home was spotless and welcoming, with a small fenced backyard that was perfect for quick breaks. She took our two pups on a walk, gave them snacks, and sent us tons of adorable photo updates. The dogs came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. Anita is a truly lovely person—our dogs absolutely adored her, and so did we. We only wish she lived in our city so we could have such a wonderful “dog auntie” nearby all the time!”

“Tally had a wonderful daycare/trial experience with Monica, and I loved getting updates throughout the day. She was in no hurry to leave after a day of walkies, exploring, playing with the hose, and sunbathing. At first I was a little nervous about having to find a stranger to board my dog with (especially a almost 13 year old terrier) but those worries were quickly put to ease. Tally had a great time at Monica’s and I’m sure she’s going to see her boarding in august as her own little doggy vacation.”

“Goose had a GREAT time with Elena and Klemheist. He came home a happy and sleepy puppy. Elena helped me out last minute after my previous sitter had to cancel and I could not be more thankful. I’ll definitely be using Elena next time I need doggy daycare or boarding for Goose.”

About: In our previous home in Missouri my husband and I frequently pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors. We moved to Washington January of 2025 and have missed the furry friends we cared for there. I have experience with large and small dogs including some elderly and some very high energy. I’ve also looked after cats, individuals and larger groups including groups with various feeding needs. I work virtually and can be available most week days for daytime pet sitting in homes that have consistent internet access or drop ins a few times a day. On weekends my availability varies but I can typically plan for drop in and overnight care with at least 1 week notice. I am married and may request my spouse be allowed to stay with me or drop by in longer term sitting situations. Whether it’s a walk or a week together I’ll try to treat your pet with the same care and attention you would. Allowing you to feel comfortable while you are away. As a pet sitter I try not to disrupt your furry family member’s typical schedule as much as possible. Pet care is very individual so I try to conform to what that pet is familiar with to minimize anxiety for them, while making sure their basic needs are met.
“Crystal provides a safe and happy place for my dogs. Obi and Haiku return tired and contented. They've had a fun day or afternoon playing with Crystal's dogs. Definitely recommend.”

About: I have been around dogs since I can remember. Growing up, my parents always had labs. I currently have a 12 year old boxer named Clover with my wife. I have been with Clover since she was 8 weeks old. From training her as a puppy to recently entering the senior years. I have cared for friends/family member dogs of all ages and breeds. I am excited to get to know more wonderful four-legged friends through this journey. I'm currently averaging 1 shift a month while work is slow. I'm available most days for walking, playing and potty breaks. My wife is a teacher and we don't have children, so I have plenty of time for 4 leg friends! I have a very calm 12 year old boxer that loves friends. I have space to crate if needed and a small yard plus a park within walking distance to play
“Since getting my pup Moosie 3 years ago, he's only ever stayed with one other sitter when I've was out of town. That regular sitter was celebrating a new baby this time though so I selected Mary's profile from the Rover options and I made a good choice. She was kind and responsive to my messages right away, and she sent updates and photos while my pup was with her. When I picked Moose up from his first daycare with Mary, it was obvious he had a great time with the other pups boarding with her, and he didn't want to leave. When we got home he passed out and slept for 4 straight hours! He was thoroughly exhausted! Thank you Mary for looking after my boy and showing him such a great time. See you in 2 weeks when Moosie returns to spend a few days with you!”

As of August 2026, there are 3,095 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Tulalip Bay. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Tulalip Bay commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,095 sitters in Tulalip Bay, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
