“Lovely experience with Eileen, who rescued us when our original Rover fell through. She was easy to coordinate with and took great care of our two cats!”

“Ashley was fantastic & I definitely plan to use her services in the future! As a first time Rover user, I was feeling anxious about finding the right fit. Ashley exceeded any expectations I had - she is a great communicator, attentive to detail, and so very caring. I felt totally at peace knowing Molly was in her care - and that is all I could have asked for. Thank you, Ashley! So so grateful.”

“Elizabeth was amazing to work with. Incredibly professional, friendly and responsive. I felt so safe leaving her with my cat Shredder, especially given her background in pet care and veterinary medicine. Thank you so much for your grace and understanding during the past 2 weeks, it truly meant a lot to me. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area seeking pet care.”

“Karenna did a great job at cat sitting while we were away, we couldn’t have left her in better hands. While our fluffball is very shy, she did her best to try and bond with her. Eventually got to pet her! Definitely would recommend.”

“Lina was an amazing sitter for Nunu yet again! Nunu has been having trouble eating her food, and Lina was very proactive in letting me know how Nunu is and worked with me on the fly to adjust her diet!”

“Having Patricia was an immense comfort for me as one of my kitties has been having some stressful (and ill-timed) gastrointestinal issues. Her knowledge and experience as a vet tech was absolutely invaluable, and she was incredibly responsive. You can tell she loves cats and I am definitely keeping her info on-hand for my next travel session if I can’t have one of my friends pop in again. 10/10!”

About: Having grown up with dogs my entire life, I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and reliable taking care of them! I raised my own puppy at the age of 13, and would only want the best for my sweet girl! I know you feel the same which is why I want to help out. I have 7 years of active pet care experience including overnight dog sitting, dog walking, or just playtime! I’m currently a Sophomore at Towson University only taking classes Monday/Wednesday afternoons. My Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays are completely open! I also have my own source of transportation and can be very flexible for last minute availability! Unfortunately accidents happen and I have come home to find your fur baby’s having potty accidents and/or throwing up. I never want a family to have to come home and clean that so I will always do my absolute best to clean it all up! I always make sure doors are locked up and that the dogs are all squared away before leaving!

About: I had two dogs growing up so I have been around them my whole life. I currently have a golden retriever that lives with me as well. I have dog-sat a basset hound since he was a puppy as well as a miniature dachshund and helped train them. I have a lot of patience so puppies are no issue! I also love getting my steps in so long walks are okay with me! I am okay with going to your residence or bringing your dog to mine as long as they are friendly! (There are good trails to walk where I live and I have a private dog park as well) I am currently on summer break from college so I am around every day other than a vacation I have planned. When school starts back up at the end of August my schedule will be a little less open. I have a golden retriever that gets along with other animals very well!! I am very respectful of others homes and will make sure to follow all instructions given.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats as a pet sitter in other people's homes. I attended vet tech school before switching to human healthcare. I have befriended extremely shy pets with love and patience. I have even raised my own 20-year-old cat from a 3-week-old kitten. I am currently between jobs, as I just moved back to Maryland and I am finding my place in the healthcare industry again. All the more time to spend with your furbabies! I am currently available any time of the day or night to take care of both dogs and cats. I will happily come over to feed your cat or dog, and take your dog out to potty, play with them, or even things like provide comfort if they get upset during fireworks or a thunderstorm. I am always sure to leave the home exactly as I find it (unless the pets need cleaning up after, of course!). I always double check that doors are locked, and will send you updates as frequently as you'd like.

“Andrew was wonderful. This was the 1st time we left our animals with someone not family. He was very attentive to both my cat and dog. Kept in contact every day. I will definitely be using him again and highly recommend him. He is the best!”

About: I have grown up around big dogs all my life, I have watched multiple animals for my friends even aided in nursing newborn puppies for a coworker. I enjoy all animals and I would love to give extra love to any pups or cats that come into my care. I am in school and trying to gain as much animal experience as possible to get into vet school . :) I also have two pet rats, so very open to all animals. I am currently working part time and a student. So most of my availability will be on weekends but I am still flexible especially if I get to spend time with animals. If your pets are in my care I will listen to all directions you give me. I have babysat for years as well so if you give me a list of instructions to follow they will be followed to a tea. Since I have been around dogs and cats quite a bit I am very good at ready body language and trying to get the animal comfortable around me. I do not believe in forcing dogs to behave but in positive reinforcement. I have great patience for animals and want the owner as well as the animal to feel safe and secure under my care.

About: I grew up in a house full of animals. My spouse and I currently have 3 cats, 2 rats, and a snake, and we look forward to adding a dog to our family soon. I love puppies! (But who doesn’t?) Having already raised two of my own, I have experience working through the potty-training phase and can facilitate basic obedience while you’re away. I have also cared for a variety of less-conventional pets, including birds, turtles, lizards, and rabbits. I’m confident when it comes to pet care and I’m willing to take on any exotic pet! I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with you to choose a rate that is tailored to both my responsibilities and your budget. I understand that your pets are a part of your family, and I look forward to treating them like a member of my own. As a freelancer, my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m available any day of the week, any time of day. If your puppy needs a potty break at midnight, I’m available. Whether I’m taking your pup for a walk or hanging out in your home for a drop-in, I’m sure to take good care of not only your animals, but your space, too. I’ll send update photos so you can see your best friend, and send you a message to let you know how things are going.

“We had a fantastic experience with Teagan! She took great care of our two cars while we were away for a long weekend. She was a great communicator and followed instructions well. We would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and look after their pets. While doing this on a part time basis, Pet care is a regular part of my routine—I plan my day around walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m flexible and make sure each pet gets the care and consistency they need. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment—whether in my home or yours. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care like medications. I keep pets comfortable, engaged, and stress-free, and I always send updates so you know they’re happy and well cared for. I have a fenced in yard and one small dog that can be a companion for your dog or respecting each other space. I have no issue using a crate if preferred.

“Loved Paul’s service ! Made my puppy Bruce feel right at home with his long walks and gave me updates on how he was doing daily! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Christine R.
“I have known Chris for more than 20 years. She is an extremely responsible, intelligent, and compassionate person. All of my pets have always loved her--even ones that were usually too shy or skittish to allow anyone else near them. I consider my pets to be my children (in lieu of actual kids), and I trust Chris with their care with zero hesitation. Anyone who hires Chris for pet care would easily see not only how seriously she takes any job, but also how genuinely she loves all animals and gives them the best possible care.”

Sarah K.

“Sarah was great! She left detailed notes and sent pictures. Oliver was sleepy and happy when we got home so we know he had a nice time :). We would definitely hire Sarah again!”
