About: I have been around dogs my whole life, I took animal science in High school and worked in dog related jobs for about 5 years. I currently have five of my own fur babies. 3 pups and 2 cats I currently am out of work for the summer and I have open availability. Late August I will return to work as a preschool teacher and will be available evenings and weekends. I will take care of your dog as if they were my own, following all the requirements that you set up before hand. Giving your dog all my attention and love.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life from Rottweilers to mastiffs. I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years, and am comfortable with all breeds, ages, and sizes. I have done basic training with my own puppies, and even adult dogs. I can offer a calm and confident presence, I have flexible availability, and am a great communicator. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with you! I currently work 3 days a week, with flexible in office days. My work is done from home most of the time and I am available most days. About: I’ve taken care of my personal dogs as well as friends and family dogs for years now. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes, as well as all personalities. I am familiar with low energy and high energy breeds, and know how to cater to each of them. I also specialize in dogs that have anxiety as well as reactivity, and know how to monitor their behavior and understand them in a way that most humans and other animals do not. I currently work full time, Monday-Friday so all animals would need to be able to be home alone for around 8-9 hours during the weekdays. My current hours are 6:30am-3pm, so I make a point to be available in the morning before I leave for work, and then after I return from work. This also applies to drop-ins. I make a point to be fully available on weekends since I am away often during the weekdays, but am also home early enough during the week that I can spend the afternoon, evening, and night with your furry little ones. I will care for your pets by following the owners’ and pets’ needs, I never stray from instructions. I will ensure safety precautions are always taken, as your animals safety is my highest priority.

About: I have cared for a variety of animals over the course of the last 10 years. I personally have owned dogs, cats, ducks, and bunnies. When it comes to my care I always put the pet first. I am a waitress so I work 2-3 nights a week typically around 3pm - 12am. My schedule changes weekly but I typically have open availability. I care for all types of pets with different needs. It is important to me that I consider all expectations from the pets parents as I carry out my services.

About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!

About: I lost my soul mate, Bailey, on October 18th, 2019. I rescued Bailey from Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England 7 years ago after losing two other rescued cocker spaniels from the local pound within a month from each other. I was devastated and Bailey rescued me! Losing Bailey, who truly was a one of a kind, reminded me of how deafeningly quiet my house is again without him there, as I have no other pets in my house. I felt something good needed to come of Bailey’s passing. As a result, I decided to honor Bailey’s memory by giving all proceeds I make through Rover for pet care services to animal rescues/shelters to help more dogs in desperate need of care! So...bring on the requests...there are many, many, many animals that need our help! I have volunteered at local animal shelters/rescues and participate in fundraising activities during the year to support these organizations. Throughout the years, I have rescued and cared for several animals with emotional, behavioral and medical issues who had become integral members of my family. I have been a Registered Nurse for 13 years, can handle day to day routines and any emergencies that may arise to provide the best overall care for your pet. I will treat your pet like it is a family member of mine while you are away! I will be the only person caring for your pet so it will get one on one individualized care. Your family member will be in good hands while you are away reducing your stress and anxiety. I know how important that is as a pet owner! I only provide care to one pet at a time in my home unless the pets are within the same family (ie. siblings). About: Hello friends! My name is Londiwe I'm 19f I recently graduated high school and am excited to embark on a career in pet care. I love both dogs and cats! I'm experienced with taking care of cats, I had a cat for 4 years so i'm familiar with cleaning the litter box, feeding, washing, and playing with cats. As for dogs i'm familiar with them in the sense of being around them through friends/family and I adore dogs. When I was really young i would go to a pet store where you could see or play with puppies and I loved it. I'm aware also with dogs that if I were to pet sit I would have to make sure they're taken care of like: fed, played with, and in their cage whenever the client says they're suppose to be. I also provide unlimited cuddles/pets/love for both dogs and cats. :) I'm currently free to dog walk or petsit any day of the week and if not then I would most certainly let the client know beforehand and try to be flexible with my schedule. The services I offer are dog walking and pet sitting in the clients home. I currently don't have any pets but if I were to, I would feed and play with the dog or cat in question and clean up after any mess they may make and basically treat them as family.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs ever since I was a kid. I would take them on long walks and groom them and cut nails if needed. I’m unemployed for now so I’ll have time to play and walk! If anything changes I’d let them know. But, for now I have time to get your animal moving throughout the day. I usually follow the instructions of how the pet owner would like their animal taken care of! If they have a fence yard or crate, however they like it I’ll follow!

About: I’ve always had a passion for animals which brought me into the veterinary field 12 years ago as a kennel attendant, I loved the job however I didn’t feel all the animals boarding were always getting one on one attention. Over the last 12 years I’ve gone to school and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Technician, currently in school for my B.A in Veterinary Technology. Taking care of animals is truly my passion whether it be in my hospital, at home or for family and friends, all pets truly get treated as if they were my own. About: As someone who has taken care of animals for almost two decades, I've seen it all. From aggressive pets, to escapists, to pets with serious health problems. But even with those hardships I've managed to get through for those dogs and their owners. I've met some very amazing animals throughout my years, and everytime they can't get enough of me, I'm basically the Pet Whisper. And I'm always able to complete the checklist, feed, walk, take them to their appointments, and so on. My clients have been able to trust me, I'm a hard worker who doesn't give up, who goes above and beyond to make my clients proud and their pets happy. I'm currently employed as a Sales Associate at Ocean State. My hours vary quite a bit, but normally I work up to 3 weekdays and both weekends, sometimes only one of them. My hours can be from 7-1 to 11 or 1-7:30 Currently I have a dog and cat. My cat stays in my room while my dog is allowed in our stairway, hallway, living room, dining room and kitchen. My cat gets along with all cats, but is very finicky around other dogs, even my own. They are both separated by a gate, so there's no fear of them ever interacting as my dog loves trying to chase her if he ever gets the chance. My dog gets along with most dogs regardless of size but, he'll always be egging them on to play haha. My house isn't entirely large but it's enough for your pet to move around, play, and relax. My complex is very large and a great walking area for your pet. There's also a dog park right around the street that's a wonderful place for your dog to socialize. And, next to that park is a large trail that's perfect for walking. If your dog likes the beach, there's plenty of them in my vicinity.
