I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for my family, whether they needed someone to watch their dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home, so boarding pets overnight works great for me. About: I have been around dogs my entire life from golden retrievers to mastiffs to spaniels, I was fortunate enough to grow up with these family pets by my side throughout my childhood. My professional experience began in high school when I started dog sitting to compensate for no longer having a dog of my own at home. I've worked in various settings related to the health and well-being of dogs, as well as actively caring for and being around dogs. I worked in the pet supply industry and gained a background in dog in relation to their health and wellness. I went on to work at a boarding and training facility, where I learned how to handle and monitor many dogs in a kennel, analyze and evaluate dog behavior, provide and reinforce basic obedience skills, bathing and grooming, and catering to the needs of each individual dog. I'm experienced in training dogs, I have a working knowledge of behavioral nuances and am continuing to work on my training abilities especially in relation to dogs with special needs and behavioral problems. My goal is to help provide your pets with the best care possible by utilizing the full range of knowledge I have gained and continue to expand by working with dogs of all varieties. I have full availability at this time. I have one dog of my own she is a long haired toy chihuahua name Cyrene (Chichi) and is 7 months old. She is great with people, dogs, cats, and can be either brought along as a companion or I’m able to separate her or not bring her should you feel uncomfortable having her around your furry family member. My goal is to cater to the needs of you and provide the best care possible for your beloved furry baby. I am home throughout the day and able to tend to your pets during that time, my goal is to begin making this a full time job and build up my clientele with familiar furry friends to give them m comfort and provide security for you to know who is caring for them regularly. I have one puppy who can keep your baby company or can be separated should you prefer that instead. I live in an apartment near the beach which can be great for walks and also have a fake grass patch should it be too cold to go outside for an entire walk (especially with small dogs like my own). I have a car and flexibility to pick up and drop off at an additional rate upon request. I am able to trim nails, bathe, and brush teeth among other things.
