“Tanya provided exceptional care for our cat and two dogs while staying over a long holiday weekend in our home. She asked excellent questions during our "meet and greet," so when it came time for us to leave our animals we knew they were in good hands. She arrived to house sit early afternoon on Friday and left late on Monday to accommodate our travel schedule. Our animals each have particular needs and personality quirks. For instance, we have one high energy dog that requires oral medication, frequent potty breaks, and long walks. Our other dog is content sleeping all day and needs to be convinced to take short walks! Plus, the energetic dog will eat the lazy dog's food if given the opportunity, so we feed them separately. Then, our cat is low maintenance, but still needs food, water, affection, and to have her box cleaned daily. Finally, the dogs wake up at 5am for breakfast (whether we're awake or not). Caring for the three of them is a lot of work and Tanya did a great job attending to their needs! We came home from vacation to happy, heathy pets and a clean house. We could not have asked for a better pet sitter. I highly recommend Tanya and would absolutely employ her services again.”

About: I've lived with and taken care of dogs for 11 years! I love all dogs and animals in general. I'll treat your pet like family, and they will be my number 1 priority while I'm taking care of them. I'll be doing a research assistantship at UIUC over the summer with 8-10 hours per week committed to that. This won't take up the majority of my time, so I'll have more than enough to take care of your wonderful pets! I'll treat your pets just as well as I treat mine. They'll get whatever care they need and plenty of extra love on top of that! I treat my client's home extremely well and make sure to clean up after myself. I take pride in keeping a clean living environment for myself and for my pets. About: I am a 5 year experienced veterinary technician who has worked primarily with small animals in multiple practices across the United States. I am currently enrolled in veterinary medical school pursuing my doctorate at UIUC in their college of veterinary medicine. In addition, I am a life-long pet owner myself! I grew up with dogs in a variety of sizes, as well as cats. As a veterinary student, I have classes in the morning and sometimes afternoon. This should not be a concern as I still have plenty of time to watch pets! We have multiple breaks through the day and I own a car. Classes never extend past 4:00 pm. So, I can travel to your pet and am fully open in evenings for long walks! I care for pets in the owners home! As a veterinary student, I am living in an apartment which is not always the appropriate place for watching certain large-sized dogs. I also have a cat of my own who is terrified of dogs!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for almost all my life, I currently have a golden doodle and mini. The mini is cared for only by me. I have experience with Attachment issues, being sick, medication administrating, incontinence, and more. I have experience with training and breaking dog fights up. I love each animal as if they were an extension of myself. I’m working part time so your animal(s) will get lots of attention if needed. I am doing online college and flexible with time. My sleep schedule is nonexistent, I can be available whenever. I have a 6ft fence and a gate fence, medium yard, a lots of toys. With a neighborhood that has many homes with dogs the neighborhood is also careful. I have 1 large crate and 1 medium, if needed we have them

While we were gone for the week she took excellent care in keeping me informed w how Mo was.doign, sending pics, and making sure to reply quickly to any texts I sent checking in. She did a lovely job of keeping our house picked up and even offered to clean her bedding. All of this is to say that I will definitely be hiring Katie again and am so thankful I found someone I can trust and that Mo truly enjoys, to stay w her if my family and I go out of town for a short or extended stay. About: As an emerging professional, I found it to be wise to not get an animal of my own quite yet, but through this opportunity I can still be around and interact with your loving animal(s). I have interacted with an array of dogs, and currently my family has had 3 dogs. Brandy, a golden retriever who loved being outside and swimming, Jack (who is in my profile picture) a cocker spaniel who loved a good nap, and our other dog Ziggy, a long haired dachshund who has calmed down over the years but loves to great people with his loud bark. I have experience working with older dogs who require medication, so if your pup/cat needs that attention, I’ve got you covered. I like to think I’m an active person, so walks will be had as well. I also love giving animals baths, so if you are interested that can be included in my services! Thank you for your consideration! I currently have a full time job, but would have mornings, lunch, and after 5pm available to love on your pet. I make it a priority to make sure they keep their schedule and have an ample amount of attention. I think keeping pets in their homes is especially important when their parents are away, so that’s why I am more than happy to come to them. Just like humans, I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not there. I love to cuddle and play with all the pets I watch as well so they will not be missing out on attention (haha)!

I have years of experience starting as a dog sitter for neighbors growing up and now taking in a variety of clients and breeds. I’m comfortable with small or big dogs. I am currently studying at University which gives me a less rigid schedule than someone working a 9-5. My class breaks give me the perfect opportunity to take the time to know your pet and give them some exercise and engagement! I think it’s important that your pet feels familiar and comfortable with me and so I typically advocate for a meeting with you the owner there before I dog sit to make sure your pet can adjust easier.
