In my adult life, I raised my Jack Russell Terrier, Edy, from 2 months til 17 years old; she was quite literally my best friend. I have also taken care of pets who need special care in the form of regular medication in the form of oral or injection. I’m currently raising my second fur-baby, a mini dachshund named Porcini. I currently live with roommates who have 1 dog and 3 cats and I have a dog of my own. I’m naturally an early riser so I start my day around 6 am with walks and feeding. My work day is pretty flexible and I am the person at work who schedules most of the meetings. I typically only have 1-3 meetings a day which makes it easy for me to step away to do pet care. I have a toy poodle, but have had schnauzers, pitties, a chihuahua, and cats, as well as fish, a bearded dragon, and a snake named Fluffy.
