About: Growing up, spent summers in Mexico on my grandpa’s farm surrounded by livestock, sheep dogs, lap dogs and street dogs. Love to ride and experienced handling horses. Well-acquainted w animal behavior. Own a Shepard mix—Galilea, reformed Mexican street dog rescued as a 3 moth old puppy and also adopted a cockapoo named Pepe. Have lived around dogs my entire life—won’t go a day without one shadowing my every step. Resigned my job as teacher assistant to work my way to law school. Focused on passing my State Court Interpreter Exam in July. For fun: run marathons, don’t mind sun, rain, or snow. Naturally outdoorsy & active. About: Hi 😊 안녕하세요 we are, Esther and Jedidiah Kim. Esther works with pets and families part time and Jedidiah works for UIUC full time. We have 2 fur babies, Puppy and a corgi named, Jubilee. We have over 10 years of experience when it comes to pet care. We are friendly, responsible, attentive, reliable, accommodating and will do everything in our power to ensure that your pet has a fun, safe time while you are away. In addition, we have years of experience training puppies with potty training, crate training, and teaching basic commands ie) sit, stay, speak, down, etc. Esther has experience in taking care of Cats and dogs. when it comes to Cat services, Esther will be communicating with the sitter, and will not be allowing boarding services as Jedidiah is allergic. No matter what kind of services you are looking for, we can guarantee that your fur-child will spend their day(s) enjoying supervised play at a local fenced in, safe dog park or anywhere you prefer. We’ll make sure your fur-child feels welcomed, comfortable, loved, and safe even when you can’t be with them. We are easy to reach and fast to respond, we look forward to hearing from you soon :) COVID-19*** Jedidiah and Esther are both vaccinated. In regards to house sitting services, we are allowing them, however we will not be offering to sleep in our client's home's over night to ensure full safety for all parties. For further questions/clarifications, please do not hesitate to reach out. Esther is currently working a part time job. Her availability is subject to constraints, but they are generally amenable to providing assistance when requests are made promptly, contingent upon their current schedules. Due to the presence of two senior dogs with limited socialization skills, we are unable to offer boarding services. We are, however, pleased to provide in-home pet-sitting visits.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.
