About: I have had family dogs since I was born and have been one of the primary care takers of them. I just graduated college and I am living at home for the summer. I would love to take care of other dogs before getting one of my own! I am currently living with my parents before moving to Chicago in August. I currently am not working until I move, so I have a very flexible schedule! My dogs are the center of our world at home. I take them on multiple walks throughout the day, and always ensure they are getting all of their needs met.

I am currently home for the summer and work part time every once in a while so am pretty free for over night stays, drop ins or walks. I care for pets in their own home by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and lots of attention. About: Three years volunteering at animals shelters and caring for the animals including walks, exercise, cleaning and training of dogs, cats and rats. One year in school for veterinary medicine caring for various animals and in charge of cleaning, sanitation and care for all animals boarded at the school. I can work mostly on evenings and late afternoons during the week and a full schedule for weekends. About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.

About: Hello! My name is Sam, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve been able to walk and talk. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for a wide range of animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m currently earning my degree in Animal Science at the U of I, with plans to pursue either veterinary school or a career in animal conservation or animal control. I’ve wanted to join Rover ever since I was little and watched my aunt run a mini daycare out of her home. Since then, I’ve pet‑sat for neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed an extra hand with their pets. This summer, I’m interning at the Vermillion County Animal Shelter to continue building hands‑on experience. I’ve also worked as a Cat Care Volunteer at the Champaign PetSmart, where I helped with daily care, cleaning, and socialization. I’m excited to bring my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for! I'm currently working a part-time internship so I have plenty of free time for your fur-babies on weekends (all day) and weekdays (before 11 and after 3)! I care for pets by following their normal routines, keeping their space clean, ensuring safety, and providing consistent attention, exercise, and monitoring so they stay comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.

As a current veterinary student, I am particularly passionate about caring for those who need a little extra TLC, like seniors and those with medical needs. This summer, my availability is pretty wide-open! I am available for drop-in visits for walks, feeding, etc. during the morning and afternoon, and am open to weekends as well.
