About: Hi! I have years of dog and cat sitting experience. I used to pet sit for my teachers in high school and continued throughout college. I am now 25 years old and live full time on Martha’s Vineyard. I grew up with dogs (bullmastiff and lab). I currently live with two dogs (a senior 3-legged dog and a pup)! Please reach out! I currently work for a non-profit on island working in water quality monitoring. During the summer my schedule is less consistent sometimes ending at 2:30pm and starting at 6:30am. However in the winter I work from 8am to 4pm. I can always be flexible with my schedule and shift work times if needed. Available on weekends. She is 10 years old and enjoys playing with new friends! I am knowledgable and caring and will provide your dog with lots of love and care! I am comfortable caring for dogs of any size and breed as well as administering medication (oral, injections, eye and ear drops and topicals). I currently work part time from home so I am flexible and available throughout the day to tend to and care for pets in my care I have a fenced in yard, but don’t leave dogs unattended in the yard. I have a dog of my own to provide your dog with companionship and a playmate while they stay with us! A crate is not required but I’m happy to set yours up if it makes your dog comfortable. I can provide care for potty trained dogs, though I am comfortable with and have experience with senior dogs who require diapers.

I have a full time job that occupies my time. I do have a car on island and substantial break time for mid shift walks/ check ins. If I’m not at work I’m at the beach or curled up watching movies. About: I've had pets since I was 9. I passed on a trip to Egypt when I was 14 because I wanted a cat instead - I got my cat she was beautiful, her name was Twinkle. I still got to Egypt when I was 18. I grew up rescuing cats and dogs from the neighborhood, hand fed 2 ginger kittens who were abandoned, took in the neighbor's neglected Springer Spaniel and was lucky to have him till he was 16, rescued another neighbor's cat, plus a pregnant stray cat who soon had a litter of 4 kittens. I love all dogs, but I have become partial to Beagles. We had our Lovely affectionate Lloyd for 14.5 years. He suffered from seizures from age 6, and I was able to modify his diet and lifestyle to lessen the seizures – I became familiar with the early signs of seizures. We still talk about Lloyd and what a character he was. We now have a rescue beagle, and she has her own unique little personality and loves her walks on Lambert's Cove Beach and her tennis balls. I have experience taking care of puppies and kittens, administering medication, and also experience with senior dogs. I work for myself, and have a flexible schedule, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups and kitties, and/or take your pups for walks. I can visit your dogs or cats in your home on a pre-arranged schedule and administer medication if needed, take them for walks, and/or to the beach.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
