House Sitting in Edgartown

About: I'm a long-term Island resident looking for some extra income and an excuse to walk more of this beautiful Island. I have experience with all types of animals with a variety of needs. I am currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible in terms of scheduling! I'm typically available most days and weekday nights, and I can swing by after work when I am working. I'm very cautious with my own pets (even though I have adventure cats) and I am similarly cautious - while providing appropriate room for enrichment - with others' animals.

Meredith watched my pups in my home while I was away at work. I was updated hourly with photos. She was a pro at taking care of my puppy and followed my instructions to the tee. She even gave my senior pup her pain medication when she seemed uncomfortable. Both my pups were very happy when I returned. I will definitely be using Meredith again in the future!”

About: I have always loved dogs since I was a little girl! I finally got my first puppy at 7 and learned all of the ropes of dealing with a puppy then. Since then I would always help out friends and family’s with walking and feeding their pets when they were working or on vacation. Even if I was just bored I would ask a friend if I could take their pup for a hike:) We don’t deserve dogs, they are absolutely the best! I work part time and have some free days in my schedule! I myself have a puppy so that consumes most of my early mornings and late nights but there’s a lot of hours in the day where I’m happy to help someone else! My home is currently not an option but eventually if needed my home is puppy proofed with extra creates, pens and one happy playful puppy waiting for a friend to come over:) I enjoy taking mine and others pups on hikes and beach walks! I know a few great parks that are dog friendly as well!!!

About: I've always had both dogs and cats since I was little. Both my sweet kitties needed medication their entire life so I have experience administrating medication if needed. I'm usually my friends go to choice for a dog walker, feeder and pet sitter for long trips during the summer due to my teacher schedule. I currently am only avaliable on weekends as I work full time but I will be avaliable during week days starting in July. During that time, I will have availability for weekends and weekdays. You know your pet best! Before any services, I like to ask questions on your pets daily routine, medications, behavior and feeding routine. This is so I can provide the best care possible for your pet!

About: I've taken care of dogs and been around them my whole life. I also have experience with cats as well. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I would love to provide care for your pets! I work full-time but I generally have two days off on my schedule. I can also visit your pets before and after work and stay overnight! I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. If I’m caring for pets in the client’s home, I treat their space with respect and maintain the pet’s regular schedule to minimize stress. I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, so they feel loved and secure while their owners are away.

We were coming in to town for my daughter's wedding (staying at an Airbnb) and needed someone to feed our dogs and care for them for a few hours since we would be gone for so long. Julia was an angel!!! She went way above and beyond caring for our beloved dogs (3). She fed them, walked them each individually, played with them and sent us so many pictures of them while we were away. About: *Martha’s Vineyard Only* I have had pets of all kinds for as far back as I can remember. I currently have a very loving, sweet, energetic and playful dog of my own, Lola. She is 10 years old and enjoys playing with new friends! I am knowledgable and caring and will provide your dog with lots of love and care! I am comfortable caring for dogs of any size and breed as well as administering medication (oral, injections, eye and ear drops and topicals). I currently work part time from home so I am flexible and available throughout the day to tend to and care for pets in my care I have a fenced in yard, but don’t leave dogs unattended in the yard. I have a dog of my own to provide your dog with companionship and a playmate while they stay with us! A crate is not required but I’m happy to set yours up if it makes your dog comfortable. I can provide care for potty trained dogs, though I am comfortable with and have experience with senior dogs who require diapers.

About: Beyond being a dog owner myself to my beloved rescue Jordi, I've also taken more dog sitting jobs than I can count. I LOVE dogs! I like to go the extra mile by taking dogs on extra long walks and adventures, always administering their medication at the correct time, giving dogs extra love and cuddles, and always keeping the house super neat and tidy. I already walk my own dog twice a day, and he loves walking with a friend! If you need a drop in visit or occasional help with a dog walk, it's already a part of my routine. Of course I do not need to bring my own dog, but if your dog enjoys the companionship of other dogs, it could be a great option! I am not allowed to have any more pets other than my own where I am currently living so I will not be able to board your dog, only house sit. Thanks for understanding.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets.
