About: Animals have always been my passion. I stopped eating meat when I was six years old after realizing that the chickens on the farm were the same animals used for chicken nuggets. Since then, caring for animals has been a core part of who I am. For the past four years, I’ve worked part-time at a local veterinary office as a kennel attendant, caring for boarded dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. From shy seniors to chaotic zoomie goblins, I genuinely love them all. In addition to my veterinary experience, I run my own pet sitting business, Vineyard Pet Pals, and have built a wonderful base of loyal clients across Martha’s Vineyard. Over the years, I’ve cared for hundreds of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, chickens, and reptiles such as bearded dragons. I specialize in: • Puppies and young dogs who are energetic, playful, and thrive with companionship and socialization • Senior pets and hospice care • Shy or anxious animals • Socializing dogs who are nervous around other dogs • Medication administration, including pills, liquids, topical medications, and subcutaneous fluids • Pets with complex medical needs I’m very comfortable maintaining routines, monitoring health issues, and making sure every animal feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m highly attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, mobility, breathing, and overall demeanor, and I take pride in noticing early signs that a pet may be uncomfortable, stressed, or not feeling well. Your pets are never “just animals” to me — they are family, and I care for them exactly as I would my own. 🏡 Boarding in My Home I provide boarding in a safe, loving home environment with: • A fully fenced, escape-proof yard • A dog door for small to medium-sized dogs to have free access to the yard whenever they’d like • Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and supervision • Friendly resident dogs for companionship and socialization While dogs of all sizes are welcome, I especially enjoy caring for small and medium-sized dogs. My home is a great fit for playful, active dogs who enjoy having playmates and staying engaged throughout the day, as well as dogs with more relaxed personalities and lower-energy needs. For everyone’s safety, I cannot board dogs with true aggression toward other animals or a strong prey drive, as I have several small pets at home and frequently care for other clients’ pets in addition to my own. 🛏️ House Sitting Note For house-sitting bookings, I only accept requests where my senior dog, Pippi, can accompany me. She is calm, gentle, and sleeps most of the day, and she simply needs to stay with me during overnight visits. I have limited availability for house-sitting, so advance notice is greatly appreciated (ideally one month or more). 💚 Final Note My life revolves around animals, and I truly spend more time with pets than people — exactly how I like it. I take enormous pride in providing attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable care, and I strive to make every pet feel safe, understood, and deeply loved. I have extensive references and reviews from both Rover and my private clients, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. My entire life is based around animals, as I have my own pets and I’m a full-time pet sitter. I truly spend more time with pets than people, and I enjoy it. I take great pride in caring for pets, whether in my own home or yours. About: I’ve taken care of animals for 20 years. I have experience with reactive, hyperactive, and working dogs. I know how anxiety inducing it can be having someone take care of your pal! More than happy to set up a meet and greet:) I’m fully remote and am able to be with your dog all throughout the day! I have experience with dogs of all personalities and sizes. From a couch potato to hyperactive reactive bearded you name it! I live a very active lifestyle and I can exercise your dog as much as you’d like! I am clean, communicative, and can follow any special instructions you have to make sure you and your pet are comfortable. About: I've two years walking, playing, and taking care of dogs. Recently have found my love for Corgis. I've been around dogs my whole life and love being around them. I'm a flexible college student with so much to offer your dog. I am currently in college with only morning classes. All my work is remote which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your furr family. I will keep them entertained and occupied while providing a safe and loving environment. While also keeping them protected and fulfilled, until your return home.

About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.

About: *Martha’s Vineyard Only* I have had pets of all kinds for as far back as I can remember. I currently have a very loving, sweet, energetic and playful dog of my own, Lola. She is 10 years old and enjoys playing with new friends! I am knowledgable and caring and will provide your dog with lots of love and care! I am comfortable caring for dogs of any size and breed as well as administering medication (oral, injections, eye and ear drops and topicals). I currently work part time from home so I am flexible and available throughout the day to tend to and care for pets in my care I have a fenced in yard, but don’t leave dogs unattended in the yard. I have a dog of my own to provide your dog with companionship and a playmate while they stay with us! A crate is not required but I’m happy to set yours up if it makes your dog comfortable. I can provide care for potty trained dogs, though I am comfortable with and have experience with senior dogs who require diapers.

Being on the farm at such a young age instilled in me a love for animals that has only grown over the years. It also allowed me a front row seat to better understanding animals and their individual behaviors. Throughout the years, I have become proficient in medication administration and personalized feedings scheduled and requirements. I have also been privileged to be around animals of all kinds and ages and I look forward to providing your young and senior pets with the extra love and attention they require and deserve. In my day to day life I am a licensed and trained paramedic which has helped me better harness the patience and understanding often required when helping animals and their families. For those of you that have pets with boundless energy, I go for a minimum 5 mile walk daily that could only be made better by the accompaniment of your four legged family member. I look forward to meeting you and your perfect pets! I currently work part time as a paramedic which allows for a lot of freedom and flexibility in my schedule to help you and your pet. As I will be watching your pet in the comfort of your home- I will always want to know what helps them adjust to change best in your absence. How can I make them, and you, feel more comfortable? What toys do they love? What types of check ins work best for you and what information do you prefer to be kept up to date on? Does your pet have any health history or allergies? What ever you think will make this experience best for you and your pet is information I would love to be made aware of!

About: I have a senior cat with a serious digestive and heart condition, so I’m certainly used to giving pets their proper medications, feeding at specific times, or just generally giving them the love and attention they need! I grew up with dogs, and have pet sat for friends, family and clients for years. I feel more than comfortable feeding, walking or staying with pups of any breed or size. I’ve been a sitter on Trusted Housesitters for years and have been lucky enough to let sit as far away as Berlin! I’d love the opportunity to take great care of your pets while you’re away! I have a super flexible schedule with work and can generally accommodate most days/times. I live on Martha’s Vineyard and can travel most anywhere on island to sit. My fiancé and I are more than happy to accommodate any and all let needs. With our senior cat experience, and lots of daily and overnight sitting experience, we always treat animals with kindness, patience and respect. We will always ensure animals feel comfortable in our care, and we update owners on their pets as much as possible!

About: I took care of my dog from 14-18. Fed her walked her every day twice a day. Trained her to go to the bathroom outside and taught her tricks. I took classes as a vet tech so I have experience handling all types of dogs from calm anxious scared and feisty. I can handle any situation calmly so they are as comfortable as possible. I will feed them and will take them for potty breaks and walks. I am currently working part time. I have availability on Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday from 8:15-9:30 before I have to be to work for my shift. I will care for the the same way I care for my two children and my two pets that are a cat and bunny. With happiness and calmness.

About: Hi! I’m a washashore with a lifetime of dog experience. I specialize in large dogs but still love my lil barkers. I own 2 floofs Briar (the Newf) and Chloe (the midget newf) I have some grooming experience and would certainly throw in a bath if need be. We love walks, videos of our adventures (so we can send them to non furry family), and lots of brushing and belly rubs. I will do off leash walks in safe environments and will do leash walks in town to socialize and get an occasional “frosty paw.” I am still on my journey to be a full time dog groomer and my biggest concern is for the animal to be happy and comfortable. I currently work part time for my husband’s tour business so this keeps me busy when I am not selling tour tickets and admin work I have a fenced in yard so if the dog park seems a little too busy or your pup jest needs to burn some energy they have a full acre to do so.

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, At present, I have a senior mixed breed dog named Ozzie whom we adopted from the local shelter 13 years ago. He has trust issues, fear aggression, and separation anxiety so he has needed a lot of TLC but he is a great dog, with a huge heart. Once you are in his "pack", he will love you for life! Our 9 year old cat, Mist, was adopted from the HART Organization in ME 9 years ago. She is a dog in her alter ego and is simply a love. They both are happy, loved, and spoiled pets! Additionally, I have cared for many friends cats and dogs over the years. I currently work part time from home. I have a lot of flexibility. I can do pet visits, feedings, and dog walks. I am usually available Monday - Fridays, after 9am. At this time, I am not available to take care of pets in my home or at client's. I am looking for daytime dog walks or pet check-ins.

About: People have trusted me to take care of their pets for decades. As a positive rewards trainer-in-training, I provide excellent, loving care to puppies, kittens, senior pets and all stages between. I have certifications in animal behavior and I can administer medication if necessary (depending on the patient's temperament). My services are limited to Martha's Vineyard. Depending on your needs, I can make most days and times work. Feel free to ask for what you need and we can discuss further. I cannot bring other pets into my own home, but I can spend nights at yours and/or housesit. I will follow your instructions to the letter, I will respect your privacy, I will bring no one but myself, and I will leave everything exactly how you left it.

About: I’ve worked with animals my entire life and have had a lot of experience with all sorts of dogs (especially the big pups) I’m extremely patient & don’t mind the longer walks for the more energetic guys! I’m currently a student at PC so my availability varies/is flexible, however I’m almost always around after 4:30 on weekdays or in the mornings (with an exception of Mondays and Thursdays). Typically I’m free all day on weekends. Unfortunately I cannot board pets at my home, but I am no stranger to pet sitting and will make sure your pet is well taken care of.
