About: I’ve had a family dog my whole life, and my fiancé and I hope to have our own someday. Since we’re not able to right now, I get my dog fix through Rover! I’ve been active on Rover for over a year, doing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting pretty consistently. I love getting to care for all different kinds of dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time Monday–Friday from 8:30–4:30, with a lunch break where I can run home if needed. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. Your dogs will get walks, play, get cuddles, etc. I am also used to working around specific quarks. For example, dogs who eat rocks may require a face mask for walks, dogs with sensitive stomachs, etc. I set alarms for their meals and keep a consistent walk/play routine. I feel responsible for their safety too, so if they play with dogs who are too rough, I will move along. Their happiness and comfort is literally my job!

“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”
“Kayla was absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough! From the very start she went above and beyond — she was open to meeting us in person before the stay so Willow could get comfortable ahead of time, which made such a difference. Throughout the week she was communicative, sent photos, and was flexible in every way. But honestly, what stood out most was how much she genuinely loved Willow. You could just tell. She told us multiple times how sweet Willow was and that she’d miss her — and we believed every word of it. For us, leaving our girl with someone is a big deal, and Kayla made it so easy to feel at peace. We will absolutely use her again the next time we’re on the island. If you’re looking for a sitter who will treat your dog like family, look no further!”
“Ryan and Leah were amazing sitters for our pup Hammy. It wws our first time using Rover, so we weren’t sure what to expect but the experience with Ryan (and Leah) was so great, they took Hammy on walks through the woods, cuddled with him at home, and generally just took amazing care, with photos and updates throughout. I can’t recommend them highly enough!!!!!!!”

Right off the bat Karen was so gentle and kind with Goldie, sent tons of picture updates, was quick to respond, and I never once felt worried or anxious! Also her dog Juni is the sweetest dog on the planet :) even with their size difference Goldie and Juni became sweet friends!”

“Jacquelyn and Bill were great! I could tell they were knowledgeable right when I met them. And they could see that Barry was timid and would need extra attention and they made sure to provide that care. They have a great back yard and I know Barry played a lot because he slept right when he got home. They updated me and sent pictures throughout the whole stay and genuinely cared for our puppy. Would definitely recommend!”
