About: Experienced and Caring Dog Lover with a Lifetime of Pet Care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and truly understand their needs and personalities. While living in Hawaii, I worked as a professional dog walker, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m also the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends, trusted to provide loving care for puppies, seniors, and everything in between. Your furry family member will be treated like my own! As a stay-at-home mom on Martha’s Vineyard, I have plenty of time and flexibility to provide attentive care for your dog. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I can easily work pet care into my routine. With a spacious home and a love for dogs, your pup will have all the attention they need in a safe and loving environment! In my home, your dog will have plenty of love and attention! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I have a large backyard for supervised outdoor time and can take your dog on frequent leashed walks to meet their exercise needs. I also have a friendly collie who enjoys the company of other dogs, but I’m happy to keep them separate if your dog prefers their own space. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities!

2. Julia & Bryan M.

“Julia and Bryan were a perfect fit for my last minute doggie daycare needs! I brought my 10lb Norwich Terrier to them three days in a row while we were on vacation, and it worked out perfectly. They sent pictures and videos of Frankie playing with the other dogs, which I really appreciated, and were very helpful and accommodating about drop off and pick up times. I will absolutely go to them again!”

3. Jackson R.
“Jackson is a down-to-earth fellow who has a remarkable capacity to listen. He's the kind of guy who will hear every word you say, and really take it to heart. He also contains a lovely balance between being fun and playful, while also being grounded and trustworthy. I have the feeling any dog would love him :)”

About: I've taken care of our family pets since I was 8, with dogs as large as 100lbs and as small as 8lbs. Dogs are always such a joy. Enjoy your vacation on Martha's Vineyard, let me watch your pet while you relax. I work from home full time and live on Martha's Vineyard year round it will be easy to add in your dog's routine and scheudle. I have a small dog named Charlie. He is 8lb dacshund mix. We live near a land bank property and love to go on walks. Since Charlie is so little, we always supervise him when he is outside so your do will be too!

7. Rebekah C.

“Rebeka is very sweet. Marshall was nervous going to a new place but she sat with him and cuddled with him, which is exactly what works. She was responsive and professional with all communication and we highly recommend her! Marshall had adjusted and was happy by the time we came to pick him up.”

8. Karen S.
“Karen is absolutely the person I trust with all my pets! She clearly loves all the animals she works with and is so kind and attentive to each of them. She looks after my super energetic lab mix and I always get pictures of them playing at the beach and in her yard :) she's also taken care of my blind border collie who needed regular medication and special attention, and Karen was the perfect caregiver to her!”

9. Maria C.

“This was our dog’s first visit to Maria and he did great playing with the other dogs for the day. We felt very confident all day knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely ask her again and we really appreciate her help!”

10. Annie B.

“Annie loves dog more than anyone I know! She is naturally good with dogs because they just love playing with her. She is good at caring for them and making sure that they are healthy. She is definitely a detail oriented person but also efficient at the same time!”

11. Kathleen R.

13. Yolanda T.

“Yolanda took excellent care of my dog when I spent the day on Martha’s Vineyard! My dog had the best day ever going to the dog park, the beach, and chilling at her house. She is a very competent dog sitter and I would definitely recommend her. I’m so glad I contacted her because she made my day visiting the island so much more enjoyable. She provided several photos and kept us informed of how he was doing. She even gave us a bit of a tour and helped us with a harbor change. Highly recommend!”

14. Marc A.

“Marc was amazing providing friendly home care to our Dog. Our Dog had wonderful time while staying at Marc by playing in his backyard with his Dog and fun time on lake. Thank you for taking care of our furbaby. We truly recommend his service & appreciate it.”

15. ERIC M.

“Eric and Diane are the best!”

16. Marc A.
“Marc has taken care of my pets for many years, he always prioritizes the care of pets above all else. He is very capable with any size animal, and is smart about dog needs if they need space and awareness when walking by other dogs, noticing stress signals, deescalating any challenging situations between pets.”

17. Lucy N.
“Lucy took care of my french bulldog puppy, Posey, who is sometimes temperamental and was still being trained at the time. Nevertheless she was a natural with him - she brought him on long walks in Central Park, took him to the dog run, and played with him in my apartment. I was nervous to hire someone through Rover but my experience with Lucy was great.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since i was in the fourth grade and my neighbors would go on vacation for a week, I was in charge of sitting their Rottweiler! I have a pit rescue that i take on walks 3 times a day so i know the importance of getting your pet some air even when it gets busy! I had pet hamsters, fish, dogs, birds growing up, it makes life more fun! I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs. I’ve worked with trained and untrained and I’ve grown up with them so no dogs scare me away. I have a pit rescue and she may look scary but she is very sweet. I love animals of all sizes. I took care of a rescue chihuahua for 10 years.

19. Sam M.

“Sam was great for our two goldens! Sam and his wife were kind from the get go and accepted both dogs into their house with open arms. We would certainly book again with them!”

20. Meghan K.
About: I wasn’t allowed to have a dog when I was growing up, I became the neighborhood dog walker! Once I moved out I’ve had dogs ever since. My last dog Chloe passed away in early May at the age of 17. I miss having a dog around but am not ready to get another yet. I would love to hang out with yours! I’m a high school math teacher and off for the summer so I have a very flexible summer schedule. I usually take a couple of walks a day and would love some company! I would be happy to adapt to your pets schedule. In the past my dogs are allowed on the furniture, and have been crate trained. I’ll follow any directions that you give. I am comfortable giving dogs medicine.
