About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. I'll start off by saying, we've never used a site like Rover before, because my wife and I are very protective and selective who comes into our home and cares for our pets and house. Usually we know the person very well and have known trust with them. We ended up finding ourselves in a bind with a last minute cancelation from our other pet sitter who had something come up during the last part of the week, and we went to Rover and found Charles "Chip" who had great reviews. He came to our home to meet Luke, Boomer and Camie. They immediately warmed to him, and we had good vibes. He made us feel comfortable with him from the moment he arrived to our home. He played with the dogs right away and got to know them. While he was here he updated us throughout the stay with pictures and texts, which put us at ease.
