About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. As a pet owner myself, I understand that our pets are family members, not just animals. My personal dogs receive the same love, attention, and care that I would want for any pet entrusted to me. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, including owning and operating a nonprofit animal rescue for five years. Through my rescue work, I cared for hundreds of dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and dogs recovering from illness or surgery. I am experienced with administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or veterinary care. I know that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Because I spend a significant amount of time at home, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and potty breaks throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and will work with you to ensure your pet’s schedule, feeding times, medications, and preferences are followed closely. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter environment, I can provide the level of care and attention they need. Safety is always my top priority. My experience running an animal rescue taught me how to properly introduce dogs, recognize signs of stress, manage different personalities, and provide a safe environment for pets with varying needs. I have a securely fenced yard and closely supervise outdoor time. I can also accommodate medications, special feeding instructions, crate training, and senior pet care.

I have been taking care of my family's pets my entire life; we have always had dogs and lizards for as long as I can remember, and it is a team effort to take care of our family members that can't speak for themselves. I’m excited to provide reliable care and help give you peace of mind while you’re away from your furry friends! I am currently working part-time at the Lynchburg courthouse in downtown. This includes Mondays-Wednesdays from 8:30-5:00. I am a law student at Liberty, so I am constantly working on some law related project or another, but I can offer time to house sit so long as there is a wifi connection! If you are located near downtown, I am able to offer midday visits to your pet Mon-Wed for potty breaks/walks at lunch time. I have always had dogs and lizards in my life growing up. While I have never cared for an animal that is special needs, I have cared for many different types of pet-personalities. I am happy to cuddle with your pet and go out for a long walk for the high-energy movers, as well as sit back and keep my distance if your friend is a little shy. Caring for an animal, to me, means listening to what they need when they tell you the first time.

She was smiling in all her pictures, and definitely had fun, got her exercise, and had her separation anxiety cured. I can tell a difference in her demeanor when she is very engaged with and when she is not, and this was definitely a case of the former! About: I have a lifelong passion for caring for cats and dogs. I've had cats all my life and currently have a 15-year-old dog and 2 indoor/outdoor cats. I've also volunteered in dog boarding at a local business, where I was responsible for taking all the dogs out to potty at night. Your pets will be in loving and experienced hands! I am currently a stay at home Mom. So your pets will have cuddles and plenty of play time throughout the day! I typically start my morning at 6:30. So early morning risers are no problem for me! I live in a 2 story house and have plenty of space for your fur baby. I can make any accommodations to make your baby comfortable in your home or mine. Whether it be crating or separating animals I will make sure they are happy and safe!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my whole life. I used to own a black lab named chance. When I was young, we took care of him and took him on walks. He was a very shy dog that we rescued. When I got older. I got a bichon her name is Lime. We’ve had her for 18 years now and she is a blessing to my life. We Walker go runs with take her to the groomers vets and much more to make sure that she is safe and having the best life she can. About: Hello! I have 2 years of experience with dog walking + a handful of occasions where I have been trusted to pet-sit / board. I consider myself a loyal dog (and cat!) owner with a great work ethic. For the 2 years of dog walking, I walked a German Shepard — his name was Val. I walked Val consistently, in weather that ranged from 90-40 degrees Fahrenheit, up until his owner moved into a nursing home and Val was rehomed. I loved the big guy like he was my own dog - filling his water, scooping out his dog food, brushing him out, and playing fetch. I never missed a day I was scheduled unless there was a sudden change in plans (I was sick, she cancelled my walk, or an event took place where I couldn't arrive in time to walk him). Recently, my family has adopted our beloved goldendoodle puppy — Corduroy. I love him unconditionally, and so much of my free time is spent helping him get his energy out. I am a homeschooler, with all days free except for Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. For walking purposes, I am available any time it is not dark outside and not preoccupied. Please note that my price for drop-ins, overnight care, and dog walking vary by location. The closer you are, the cheaper it will be. Below is how I determine payment: 0-5 miles from my home and/or workplace = $40 per night / drop in / walk Every additional 0.5 mile is $1 I make sure everything is taken care of. From basic expectations to leaving the house exactly how I found it — if not better. If it’s not my house or my pet, then I’m obligated to go by my clients rules.

“Brittney and Steve are absolutely fantastic. Before them, I was constantly checking my phone to see if our dog, Gracie, had been checked on. Not once on our trip did I have to worry. Our Gracie also just went through hind limb amputation due to cancer, and their diligence is just amazing. They made sure to take extra time with us to go over her new routine. Gracie can be a bit of a princess, and it was just calming to know that there was someone taking extra time with her. The text updates and pictures made us smile while on vacation. Definitely an amazing choice! If I could give more stars I would!”
