They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

About: I am currently a college student studying zoo and wildlife biology, and I hope to have a career in either wildlife rehabilitation or working at a zoo. I have a good amount of experience with animals; I have been around animals my whole life, my grandfather was a veterinarian, and I have been pet sitting since high school. About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Allowing them to be where they feel the most comfortable.
About: I grew up in the country taking care of dogs, horses, cows, a pig, a lamb, bunnies and probably more that I can't think of! After years of service in the military where having a dog is difficult so I didn't have one, I finally got a corgi last year. His name is Gnocchi he's over a year old. I also got Luna, she's an Austrailian Shepard puppy and she is 6 months old. I recently had a 6 foot fence installed so my dogs can run free! They love other dogs to play with. I am comfortable with senior dogs, puppies and dogs who might need medication as well. I'm currently not working but I am looking for a remote position so being home while my kids are at school is my normal routine! I have a 6 ft fenced yard with an undercover area that is also fenced. I plan on getting some dog houses for that undercover area so they have a warm place to snuggle or they can come inside as well when it gets really cold or really hot!

I also have much more flexibility on weekends and can dedicate additional time to your pets, whether they need longer walks, extra playtime, companionship, or just someone to keep them company. About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I worked at doggie daycares/boarding facilities for 3 years, and am an assistant at a competitive showing kennel. I attended CATCH canine trainers academy as well. All the stuff I would have asked her, but she was right up front with everything. She explained her home life, her own pets, and how she was going to incorporate our pup into the mix. After a few messages and us both providing additional information, I just felt really comfortable selecting her to watch Reid. Drop-off and pick-up were very smooth processes. This was the longest we have boarded Reid, 10 days and he did really well and I attribute that to Alliyah and the environment he was in. We got updates and pictures and she was very responsive when I reached out to check on Reid. Definitely, the best boarding experience we have had. I 1000% recommend Alliyah for boarding and we will use her again.”

“Best. Sitter. EVER. I've tried and been happy (or not) with many boarders, but Jody goes way above and beyond. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”
About: I was raised on a farm so I have been taking care of animals my whole life! I had a Dalmatian, golden retriever, and German Shepard growing up as a kid. I have fostered numerous dogs the last three years. My sweet Gemma girl who was a lab mix sadly passed away three years ago and we’re not quite ready for another dog yet so until then I would love to spoil and help take care of your four legged baby I was recently unexpectedly laid off from my full time job so I have lots of availability especially during the day to help care for your four legged babies I have a large yard for the dogs to play in and would love to take your dogs on walks and care for them at their home too. “Hillary and her family are amazing! We live about 40 minutes away, but as soon as we got there, we immediately felt like their land was a perfect place for dogs to play. So, it was worth the drive! Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! Daisy basically got a vacation while we were gone. Haha. Thank you, Hillary! We really appreciate you!”
