“Andrea was absolutely wonderful! She stayed with our three dogs for three nights / four full days, and it was clear from the start how patient and loving she was with our boys. Two of our dogs are older and require frequent potty breaks and medication, and Andrea handled all their needs with so much care. She was especially loving and attentive to one of our older boys, who was having a really difficult time with us being away. Andrea stayed in close communication throughout our trip, sending regular updates, pictures, and videos. It was obvious that the dogs were comfortable, happy, and having a blast playing with her! We returned to a house that was clean and exactly as we had left it. She even washed the linens and towels and started the dishwasher before she left - an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful surprise after a long day filled with travel delays and a late arrival home. About: Hello! I have taken care of my own, family, and friends' animals for over 15 years and those in the community going on five years. I've worked with most breeds and ages. Size does not matter whether your best friend is 5Ibs or 150Ibs! I have a flexible schedule and can work with you on times. Whether it's walking, visits and feeding or all of the above I'm happy to help. I have experience with senior dogs and their sometimes more complex needs, including medical. For all services I require a meet and greet first. For house sitting, I don't do over nights but can be there very early and/or late and happy to work from your home and give your dog(s) as much interaction and breaks they need. For daycare in my home, I require a meet and greet with my dogs, preferably on neutral ground such as a local park, or my yard if needed. Dogs are just like humans, sometimes they're best friends sometimes they aren't and my number one priority is the safety of all animals. Dogs need to be okay with kids. My children are very respectful and I've taught them from a young age how to interact with dogs and read their body language, and give them space. But I know not all dogs have had positive experiences with kids. Don't worry about size or puppy rambunctiousness- they are used to that! I have extra crates if needed or prefered. I don't do off leash, your dog may be great off leash and have awesome recall, but I'm a new person and your dog might be anxious or just not as focused with someone new. Again my priority is safety, after all this is your best friend and family member! I have ground tethers that give them a large range to free roam, explore and play. I also use 30ft leads for fun walks in woods or local hiking trails. Feel free to ask about cats too! I love cats and am first and foremost a crazy cat lady. I've sat for all ages and levels of feline pickiness. I've done meds, including injections for kitties too. I work from home and as a result have a flexible schedule. I take time out of my day regularily to walk, play and be with our dogs and yours, it's a great way for me to break up my day and get to know the great dogs in the community. When caring for your pets I take great care to be respectful of your space, only going where I need to for your animals. I make a point to clean any pet mess and ensure they are secure before leaving.

Drop-In Visits & Walks: I'm available Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, for walks and drop-in visits, with some after-hours availability on an as-needed basis (please note, after hours requests may incur an additional fee). Overnight Sitting & Boarding: Available 7 days/week. Since I care for many dogs during the week, your dog may be hanging out at home for a period of time while I walk other dogs or run errands. Other than that, I'll be home with your dog! Your dog will be treated the same as my dogs, and that means they will be the center of my attention! Boarding: This is a very calm and quiet household (with the exception of some barking) - no kids. My two female golden retrievers (2yrs & 10yrs) are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too if you allow it. Your dog is welcome to sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer a cool tile/wood floor. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. Please bring your dog's crate if needed, as well as their bed, food, and any other items they may need. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play with each other as well. Overnight Sitting: I have many years of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs. In addition to caring for your dog(s), I'm happy to take in mail/packages and water house plants. If you want, I can even bring one or both of my dogs with me to provide socialization and companionship.

I loss my job recently so I take my dog to the park and train with him in my free time. I train my cat with a few tricks.
