I found Charles on Rover and rather than keeping my dog at his home he offered to come stay at my home. Which for me was the best possible outcome. It worked out great. About: I am a current student in Medical School who has been dog sitting since high school. I have provided care for dogs and cats for various families on overnight trips. Over the past two years I provided care on and off for a household with two dogs, chickens, pigs, and gardens. I have worked in medicine and volunteered with the elderly over the past two years. I am available weekends and love to get outside (ideally with a dog). On weekdays I am happy to work around my class schedule to make sure your dog has plenty of care and time outside! I live in an apartment but have grass area outside. I also love taking dogs for walks or hikes. About: My family has had pets my entire life, and I've grown up with dogs and cats, so the question of how many years of experience I have is difficult to answer. I have a lot of experience being around animals, but I obviously was not the primary caregiver for our pets during my childhood. I am very fond of animals (of course), and would love to get to know your furry friends and help them get out and about! I'm a student in college at UVM, so I am around to hang out with your pets in between and after my classes! Because of the way they are spaced out, I'm usually free midday or in the afternoon/evening. I put a lot of care into making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy while in my care. I keep a close eye on them, and stick mainly to quieter roads that I'm familiar with on walks.
