I am the owner of Mindsett Paws, my pet care business dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for dogs and cats. In addition to running my own pet care business, I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past year, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. About: I have dog sat and walked dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for the last eight years and approximately two years ago adopted my American Bully, Cane Corso mix named Clementine. I even trained her to be a therapy dog through a lot of training and education. I am comfortable working with rescues as well. I love working with all breeds, but specifically I love working with bully mixes too!! I am comfortable with medication administration, as well as working with dogs that have recently had surgery. My dog had TPLO surgery and took six months to recover so I’m willing to support in that process as well! I also have experience working with rescue dogs. I currently work full-time as a social worker, but I am looking to help with pet sitting on the weekends or dog walks earlier in the morning. In my home, my dog is on a strict schedule which includes brushing her teeth twice a day, administering medication in the morning, a structured walk and enrichment. For your pup, I can do whatever is needed!! my dog is also crate trained, and has been training to be a therapy dog. I am comfortable with dogs that are reactive to other dogs as well. I am able to do boarding in my home but your dog would have to be comfortable with my dog so we would have to do a meet and greet. I do not have a fun fenced in backyard, but I live on a rail trail and take my dog on walks there often. I am also comfortable with dropping in visits, walks, and overnight pet sitting.

About: I am a current student in Medical School who has been dog sitting since high school. I have provided care for dogs and cats for various families on overnight trips. Over the past two years I provided care on and off for a household with two dogs, chickens, pigs, and gardens. I have worked in medicine and volunteered with the elderly over the past two years. I am available weekends and love to get outside (ideally with a dog). On weekdays I am happy to work around my class schedule to make sure your dog has plenty of care and time outside! I live in an apartment but have grass area outside. I also love taking dogs for walks or hikes. I am happy to take care of clients households as well, keeping the area clean, animals fed and walked, and plants watered.

About: My family has had pets my entire life, and I've grown up with dogs and cats, so the question of how many years of experience I have is difficult to answer. I have a lot of experience being around animals, but I obviously was not the primary caregiver for our pets during my childhood. I am very fond of animals (of course), and would love to get to know your furry friends and help them get out and about! I'm a student in college at UVM, so I am around to hang out with your pets in between and after my classes! Because of the way they are spaced out, I'm usually free midday or in the afternoon/evening. I put a lot of care into making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy while in my care. I keep a close eye on them, and stick mainly to quieter roads that I'm familiar with on walks.
