“We booked Alexandra to pet sit for our cat for 10 days, while we were away. She was very professional and it was great knowing we had someone we could trust at our home. We will definitely book her again. Our cat was well taken care of by Alex. Thank You!”

“Grace is wonderful. She is attentive, patient, kind and professional. She took great care of our fur kids and we look forward to booking her services again in the future.”

“Rihana was the best! She took time to meet with us before our trip. Asked lots of good questions and spoiled our pup like we would. She took amazing care of our home and left it just as she found it, with little hints fun like folded tp ends 🤣 She stayed in constant communication and made sure to connect about our arrival timing. She's the full package, such a relief to travel and know my pup is in her safe space and well cared for ❣️”

“Charles is the best! He took great care of my two dogs over a 9 day housesitting stay and came out best friends with both of them, including the shy one that takes time to warm up to new people. He left such thoughtful notes on how they did, made some really great judgement calls on the fly, and is just a great person to have around. I would absolutely book with him again.”
About: Working with animals has always been a passion of mine. Currently I work at VCA Russell Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant 30-40 hours a week. So, I do have knowledge in veterinary medicine. If you choose me to care for your cat or dog you will not be disappointed. I love every breed and every size and will provide the most excellent care for your family member. I have 3 dogs of my own currently and am very capable of caring for all life stages. Thank you for taking time to look into my profile and I hope you choose me to watch/care for your loved one (: Trying to stray away from my full-time job and make this my full-time job. Taking care of your pets is my top priority and I want to be able to have the availability to do so. I care for pets as I would my own. My pets are my babies and I would do anything for them. I will treat your animal like they are one of my own.
“Michelle and Ken took great care of our cats (one with special needs) and our house. It brings such peace of mind to know we can enjoy our time away and not worry about anything at home. Highly recommend!”

“Lani was great taking care of our two senior dogs that have special needs. One is blind, requires medications, and wound care; the other one can’t hear. Lani handled it all with ease and professionalism, communicated well, and the dogs seem very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

About: Everyone always asks me why dogs are so nice to me and quiet and I’m not really sure but I love all animals! So I hope you can trust me with yours! I work full time but after work I’m always available usually and on weekends. I’m very lenient towards everyone’s schedules so take your time! Don’t worry I will only be going to peoples homes to pet sit or walk because I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs unfortunately maybe one day when I get my own house though!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been helping family and friends care for their pets for years. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, baths, and lots of attention and affection. Spending time with dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’m reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, so I follow care instructions closely and make sure your dog feels safe and happy while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I am a law student at UNH with classes in the morning and late afternoon. I am free mid-days and in the evenings, and am free every weekend. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I carefully follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions and keep a calm, clean environment. During walks, I stay alert and use secure leashing at all times. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep doors, gates, and food stored safely. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Sandy is a great communicator and very attentive to the needs of pets and their owners. She did house-sitting and dog sitting for us for three days. Lady loved her, and Sandy took great care of her. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to call on Sandy again.”

About: My family has had pets my entire life, and I've grown up with dogs and cats, so the question of how many years of experience I have is difficult to answer. I have a lot of experience being around animals, but I obviously was not the primary caregiver for our pets during my childhood. I am very fond of animals (of course), and would love to get to know your furry friends and help them get out and about! I'm a student in college at UVM, so I am around to hang out with your pets in between and after my classes! Because of the way they are spaced out, I'm usually free midday or in the afternoon/evening. I put a lot of care into making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy while in my care. I keep a close eye on them, and stick mainly to quieter roads that I'm familiar with on walks.

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of animals — dogs, cats, chickens, fish, bunnies, and even goats! I grew up surrounded by pets, from dogs and cats to chickens in the backyard, so taking care of animals has always been second nature to me. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I walk and care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I genuinely love connecting with animals and getting to know their unique quirks and routines. Whether it’s going on walks, feeding, playtime, or just giving them some extra love and attention, I always make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. Pet care is already a big part of my weekly routine! I volunteer at an animal shelter where I walk dogs, so spending time with animals is something I do regularly and genuinely enjoy. Between school and work, I make time each day for walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. I love building those little moments of connection into my day whether it’s an early morning walk, a quick drop-in visit, or evening cuddles after dinner. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat them and their space with the same respect and attention I would my own. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I always take time to give them affection, keep them active, and make sure they are happy and relaxed. I also keep things tidy and make sure your home is just as you left it. Communication is very important to me, so I send updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident that your pet is well cared for.
“Zachary was very responsive and was flexible working with me to nail down a schedule that worked for both our availability. I so appreciated his help watching Winnie when my flight was significantly delayed - he was happy to come back and I was so grateful that she was cared for when I couldn’t get home on time. He cleaned up before leaving and was very respectful of our home. I would definitely recommend Zachary to take care of your dog. Winnie seemed very happy with the care he provided. Thanks!”

“We were so happy with Kimberly! She stayed at our home for a week and took great care of our dog and cat. She was reliable, attentive, and made us feel at ease while we were away. We’d definitely recommend her!”

“Jazmin was fantastic. She took great care of our house and made sure our two senior dogs were well cared for and loved for the week. We came home to happy dogs and a well-kept home. Highly recommend, and will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

“Great, consistent communication, sent photos of my Kitty daily, along with updates. My cat is very skittish around people but Sue was eventually able to pet her, which is a big win.”

Northfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alex was amazing with our border collie, Lady! She’s a high-energy, goofy pup and Alex handled her perfectly. We got lots of updates and cute pics, which gave us peace of mind. Alex was super flexible with our special timing on departure day too. We came home to a happy and tired — we couldn’t ask for better care. Highly recommend!
