I have 5+ years of professional experience working as an assistant manager at a busy dog daycare & boarding facility in Maine, along with several years of private dog walking and pet sitting experience. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they can feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

About: I am a cat mom and lover of all animals! I have experience with many types of animals, from cats and dogs, to reptiles and birds, to farm animals. I currently have a medically needy pet of my own, so I am well-versed in medicine administration and caring for animals with different needs. I am currently working at a school, so I have afternoons and weekends pretty much free! While I am caring for your pets, they are my number one scheduling priority. I will meet your pet where they are at in their own home, allowing them to stay in their safe space. I will adapt to their routines and give them a seamless experience until you return to them!

About: I’m an animal lover at heart and have been helping care for dogs since I was little, at least 20 years and counting! I “dog-sat” throughout middle and high school for friends, family & neighbors. Happy to walk, play, feed, and then some. I’m seeking additional “work” that can also help me - I firmly believe that caring for animals is beneficial for mental and physical health! I’m not only caring for them, the furr friends are taking care of me too! I’m a teacher, off for the summer, and pretty available with the exception of a short vacation here or there. About: My household currently contains 2 black cats and a pitbull mix! I live for the chaos and love that animals bring into a home! I have potty trained young puppies, given an inhaler to a stubborn cat and many more things! I have a flexible full time work schedule and I often come home at lunch or work from home to hang out with my pets. I prefer to keep pets in their familiar environment and visit them. I find that reduces stress and allows for me to build a better relationship with the animal.

About: I have had 2 pit bulls over the years, the best trained, off leash, friendliest dogs ever, on command from pup, you would have to meet them to know their awesomeness! You can spoil them but they need to learn that you are their alpha and consistency is key I am a server at dinners so my day is free and love dogs and am very passionate about their care and dedicated as you are to them! Your pet is like a child to me, meaning with great care, showing them love as you do and I will follow your lead during my visits

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for them consistently. Having 2 of my own dogs and many reptiles/amphibians, my care for pets goes deeper than most. I am currently working on becoming credentialed as a NP so I am no longer working a full time job, making me free almost any day. I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs but am also available to come to your home as needed! I have a home of my own as well so I know the importance of keeping the home safe and clean for our little friends.

“Alison is legitimately the best pet care provider I have EVER had. My cat fell completely in love with her. Every picture, Frannie was interacting with Alison. Keep in mind that Alison and Frannie were strangers to each other. Frannie was sitting in Alison's lap making biscuits on day one. Alison sent so many great photos and responded so quickly to all of my messages. When I got home the litter box was clean and the floor was clean. She literally vacuumed up all of the tracked litter. She was at our house caring for Frannie exactly when she said she would be, and I know this because we have a ring doorbell. I have already rebooked for our next trip.”

I’m comfortable working with reactive pets & pets with medical needs. I rescue through halfway home cat rescue were I’ve had many medical recovery kitties on top of feral kitties. It gives me the flexibility to be available early morning and evening with overnight as well I currently have a full home so I do not care in my own home. But I am more then available for in home visits and overnight if needed!

About: I take pride in my ability to care for any and all animals of any size. I guarantee to provide a safe, loving and warm environment for your pup. I currently work 3 (random) days per week, 7a-7p. I am a NICU nurse so love and care is in my blood! I have a dog of my own, so I am always caring for an animal on my days off! I have a fenced in yard that our dog loves to sprint all around. I never leave my pup unattended, I always go out for potty breaks and to play in the yard to ensure his safety.
