“Monique took excellent care of Juno. I was impressed with her updates and pictures. Juno can be a bit shy but she settled in great and made lots of dog friends during her stay. Monique was very responsive and wonderful to work with.”

“Yolanda was such a wonderful sitter! She provided pictures and updates everyday so we knew that our fur baby was well taken care of! We will definitely reach out to her again!!”

“Angel and Little Man always have a great time. Easy scheduling, great response times, and my pups are exhausted from playing when they get home. Thanks !”

“Angela was the perfect dog mom for our Skye. She adjusted to Skye's schedule and Skye learned how to make her needs known. Angela sent us daily photos and a few videos, so we could be assured that Skye was doing well. Skye will definitely be returning in the future.”

“I'm so happy we found Becky! My little dog has a few special instructions in his old age, so I really appreciate her care and attention. He was happy and healthy when I picked him up.”

“Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Keeper loved spending time with her and her family - and Jennifer provided wonderful photos so that we could see how happy Keeper was. We will definitely bring Keeper back to Jennifer again!”

“I cannot say enough about Maria and Nayibe. I’m very selective about who I allow to care for my dog and I can 100% say that I made a good choice. Throughout the weekend, I received updates, pictures and video which really put my mind at ease. Thank you so much and I will be using them again!”

“Sherry is reliable, caring, and trustworthy. Finley bonded immediately with her. We enjoyed the pictures and video while we were away! We will most definitely book again.”

“Scott and his family were amazing. The daily pictures and updates were something we looked forward to while we were on vacation. We were able to relax knowing they were in good hands and having the time of their lives. They came home so tired! Would 100% use them again.”

“Angela is simply wonderful. She took excellent care of our 13 year old Pit Bull mix while we were on our two week vacation. Our dog wasn’t used to being away from us that long and since he had always received a lot of attention and care, we were worried about finding someone who would take just as good care of him. From the moment we met Angela, we felt completely at ease. Her warm, positive attitude immediately reassured us, and she wasn’t fazed at all by our dog’s hip issues and reduced mobility. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was extremely well cared for, and we are so grateful to Angela for the love and attention she gave him. We would absolutely choose her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Scott was a wonderful sitter to our dog, Phoebe. Excellent communication, professional, and friendly. He sent us a few pics while we were away to let us know how she was doing, which I especially appreciated. Definitely recommend Scott, and his cute dog Lucy, to anyone looking for a sitter and a playmate.”

“Julia and Colin were great! They communicated well and even met Toast before boarding! We received a lot of pictures where our dog was smiling and having a good time with them. We will definitely book again!”

“Mina loves staying with Candace and Jared, she loves spending time with them along with Daphne and Lennox too, it is her home away from home when I am away or busy. They treat her like she is one of their own, she is very well loved and cared for when she stays with Candace and Jarod.”

“Kim is the BEST dog sitter....period. My dog, Georgia, gets to take lots of walks, play in the fenced yard, and spend quality time on the couch with Kim's dog, but the biggest thing for me is that I TRUST that she is safe and cared for so that I can go away and enjoy myself without worrying about her. THANK YOU, KIM!”

“Cortney was really accommodating and great with Bo. Also prompt in communicating and shared pictures and a video of Bo during his stay. Her dog was a great playmate for Bo and he had a blast. I would recommend Coutney!”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing with Chase and Coco! She kept me updated the entire time with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear they were well cared for, happy, and loved while I was away. I had no issues or problems at all. I truly appreciate the excellent care she provided, and I will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly consider them family. Growing up, my family had a Cocker Spaniel, then a Weimaraner, and eventually we fell in love with Labrador Retrievers — we’ve had three Labs in a row. My most recent chocolate Lab, Thor, passed away about 2 years ago, and until we’re ready to bring another dog home, I’ve decided to pour that love and care into other people’s dogs. My dogs have always been right by my side, so your dog will never feel like a guest. If your dog enjoys car rides, they’re welcome to come along with me. At home, they’re free to relax on the couch, go for walks, play at the dog park, or just enjoy companionship and attention throughout the day. I trained our labrador Thor to retrieve so if you have a hunting dog and they have a favorite retriever toy I’d be happy to keep their skills fresh while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own — with plenty of love. I work full-time Monday to Thursday.I am an early riser due to work and having young kids. I work 10 minutes from home so stopping home for potty breaks and exercise during the work week is easy to do. Friday,Saturday,Sunday we are home bodies with two young kids and will treat your dog like family all day. I can crate your dog in our XL crate with a comfy bed if needed. Puppies can be put into a puppy play pen as needed. We have a nice yard to play and a dog friendly neighborhood for walks weather permitting. I will only watch one dog at a time for dog safety and to give your dog my full attention. I will watch multiple dogs from the same household. Due to young kids (3&5 year olds) living in our home I do request dogs that do well with children. If you have a puppy I understand the potential teething and nipping stage is apart of a dogs growth and understand the process as I’ve had 4 puppies in my life. My children will always be supervised around your dog.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
