Ashley is incredible about sending me photos and little updates throughout the day, so I always know how Penelope is doing and what kind of fun she is getting into. There is such a difference between knowing your pet is being well cared for and knowing she is being genuinely loved while you’re away, and with Ashley, I never have to worry for a second. Her entire family is so incredibly sweet to Penelope, and she is clearly completely comfortable and happy in their home. When I picked her up today, she genuinely seemed like she would have preferred to stay with them rather than come home with me — which I suppose is the highest praise a pet sitter can receive 😂 Ashley has become someone I completely trust with Penelope, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life. I grew up showing dogs, both my family dogs and others. My family back home currently has three dogs, each a different size, from small to large, so I have experience with all sizes. I live in a great area for casual walks, with a dog park and a small lake nearby for the pups that are allowed to swim! I work full-time, in-office Monday through Thursday and from home on Fridays. I take daily walks around my neighborhood in the evening. On weekends, I love exploring a new coffee shop and walking trail or just a longer walk in the areas near me. I’d love to bring your pet along with me on walks and for downtime on the couch afterwards! I don’t have a fenced yard, but there is a dog park where your pup can run freely. Outside of that, we have open grass areas where we can walk. All pups are welcome on furniture at my place and are welcome to enjoy the space as their own. I do have a patio that they’re more than welcome to sit outside and enjoy with me.

“Mitch was very accommodating with my last minute booking request. After a quick meet and greet, I left my 4 year old pup in good hands for an overnight stay. Mitch has a nice big fenced in yard for the dogs to play, he was very responsive with his communication and provided photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”

About: I’ve always had a strong love for dogs, having grown up with both a Shih Tzu and a Golden Retriever. I also have personal experience caring for a senior dog. I regularly dog-sit for friends and family members and have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies, playful adult dogs, and senior pets. I currently work part-time in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I’m attending graduate school fully remotely. This gives me plenty of flexibility during the day to care for your pet, including taking them on walks and spending time with them during my study breaks. On the days I’m working, I can also come home during my lunch break to take your pet for a walk and check in on them. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a grassy area and park nearby. I will walk your dog frequently through the day so they can get exercise and go to the bathroom.
