About: I currently have a cat. I have pet sat for friends before and generally enjoy spending time with and caring for animals. Through Rover I have provided doggy daycare, pet boarding and dog walking. I am happy to take care of your pets as you have a need. The best times for me to drop by or walk a dog are 12:30-3pm on weekdays. 9-11am is the next best timeframe. I can pet sit an animal in my home depending on availability and pet needs which can be discussed in detail with the owner. My cat is an indoor and outdoor pet and would be kept away from any animals I would pet sit. I can walk dogs easily in my large yard (over 6 acres of land), can crate any pets as needed/requested and have space inside my home to care for them. I can come to a client's home and let a pet out as needed, feed and replenish water as needed, or handle any other general pet care during the day as requested within my available schedule.
About: I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, and small animals for 20 years. I am also a reptile owner and comfortable caring for some reptiles and amphibians. I am currently available full time for pet care, regarding pet sitting or daily walks. I am also able to care for and feed some reptiles and most amphibians. I much prefer to care for animals in their own home. I feel it is less stress on the animal and more comfortable for them.

His pics of Milo showed how happy Milo was to see him, and when we returned home it was obvious Milo was much more at ease compared to other times we were away. “We usually use a family member to take care of our cats. Due to a scheduling conflict we needed outside help. Sara did a great job! She was great at sending several photos of my happy cats. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. If they could talk I am sure they would ask for Sara again by name.”

Drew took wonderful care of our cat Zaza while we were away. Zaza is naturally quite shy, so she was a bit timid at first, but within a few days you could really see the difference. The photos Drew sent showed her looking comfortable and relaxed, and it was clear she was getting attentive, patient care. We really appreciated the regular updates and the attention to Zaza’s personality. We’d happily book Drew again and highly recommend him to anyone with a shy cat who needs a little extra patience!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
