About: I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, and small animals for 20 years. I am also a reptile owner and comfortable caring for some reptiles and amphibians. I am currently available full time for pet care, regarding pet sitting or daily walks. I am also able to care for and feed some reptiles and most amphibians. I much prefer to care for animals in their own home. I feel it is less stress on the animal and more comfortable for them.

About: I've always been a dog lover & have had dogs since childhood. My latest baby is a doxie-chi mix (11 lbs) and she is the sweetest girl who brings me much joy! My husband has a cattle dog mix (30 lbs) who is a big teddy bear too! We walk them everyday, take time to play & of course snuggles! I truly believe dogs (& ALL animals) deserve respect & exceptional care, & I will treat your fur baby with the utmost love & care! I enjoy the different personalities of dogs and really get a kick out of watching them; they make my heart smile!! When watching your pet, I will review with you a list of questions in order to make sure I know your fur baby & their schedule, likes & dislikes. Being a dog owner already and having a routine with my little one, taking care of other fur babies just comes naturally to me :-) I work part-time during the week; I leave the house at 8:10am, and i’m home by 2pm, & Home all weekend! I am available for dog walks as well as boarding every day of the week. We have a large fenced in yard, which is a great size for running & playing. There is also a covered patio. Although we do not use them often, we do have a couple crates for our dogs if needed which we call their “night-night bed” but at night Hazel sleeps in the bed with us (& thinks she owns the bed! LOL) and Rocky is in his plush bed right beside us. Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with us, in a doggie bed next to us, or a crate; whatever you prefer! I have an extra crate in case your furbaby would like to have a little nap there instead of on the couch or a dog bed. We live in a great neighborhood with new families & older families, and everyone is very friendly. We have many dogs in the neighborhood & my girl loves to go on walks to say hello to everyone.
About: I currently have a cat. I have pet sat for friends before and generally enjoy spending time with and caring for animals. The best times for me to drop by or walk a dog are 12:30-3pm on weekdays. 9-11am is the next best timeframe. My cat is an indoor and outdoor pet and would be kept away from any animals I would pet sit. I can walk dogs easily in my large yard (over 6 acres of land), can crate any pets as needed/requested and have space inside my home to care for them. Drew took wonderful care of our cat Zaza while we were away. Zaza is naturally quite shy, so she was a bit timid at first, but within a few days you could really see the difference. The photos Drew sent showed her looking comfortable and relaxed, and it was clear she was getting attentive, patient care. We really appreciated the regular updates and the attention to Zaza’s personality. We’d happily book Drew again and highly recommend him to anyone with a shy cat who needs a little extra patience!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
