“We usually use a family member to take care of our cats. Due to a scheduling conflict we needed outside help. Sara did a great job! She was great at sending several photos of my happy cats. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. If they could talk I am sure they would ask for Sara again by name.”

About: I’ve worked with animals for 7+ years. I have worked at two vets as a kennel worker and a vet assistant along with doing reception work. I have also worked at a grooming salon for a year and grew up helping with rescues/fostering. I adore animals of all kinds and love getting to spend time with them. Even as a little girl, I was always bringing home strays and offering to help with neighbor’s pets. One thing I am great at is communicating which means you’ll get updates along the way of me taking care of your pet! As of right now, I am pretty open all the time moving to Ohio!! This may change in the future when I start my new job. I have a border collie who is a year old and a golden retriever x Aussie mix who is 2 years old. They both need a lot of activity through out the day so I try to keep them busy and on schedule. They get fed in the morning around 7 am which is also when I let them out to use the bathroom while I feed my horse and donkey. I feed them again around 5 pm and they have multiple bathroom breaks during the day. I also have two cats that are on a feeding schedule. 1/4 of a cup twice a day for them. Litter boxes are scooped twice a day and changed out with new litter every 2-3 days.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm and have always had cats and dogs around. My kids are excited to learn some responsibility through animal care along with my supervision and spend time with dogs. About: What sets me apart is my experience and flexibility. I started pet sitting in college and have always loved caring for animals. Now that I work locally with summer hours ending before 5, I’m able to offer reliable drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals for 33 years after) taking care of puppies, adults and senior dogs (a pit bull, a Pekingese, Shih Tzu , then fostered a German Shepard, a Poodle, a black pup Lab), Taken cared of a Golden Retriever, a Pitbull, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around (I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, lunch, then around 3-4pm around/after dinner time , and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my child, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. I have taught my children not jump around,not rush, nor scare animals. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them. (Off leash free to run roam inside the house and I have a mini tread mill if outside walks and inside play is not enough). Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. About: I’ve taken care of many cats and dogs of my own and for friends and family for many many years. I have raised cats and dogs as young as 6 weeks as well as trained them. I love meeting new fluffy friends of all kinds! I have a job as a barista and typically work there 5 days a week so my schedule is very flexible. My availability is ever changing so feel free to ask! I have a 20 lb shetland golden retriever mix that loves to play, is very well mannered, and gets along with dogs of all sizes! I have a walking trail near where I live that I typically walk my dog and the ones I sit. I also love to take pups to Riverside to walk. If I am attending to another persons home i’ve always been raised with the idea of “leave it better than you found it”. If there are indoor cats I pay close attention to detail to make sure they don’t accidentally get out.
About: What sets me apart is care for a dog based on their needs and preference. I will listen to what you know and I will learn from their behaviors also. In two weeks, I pottied trained my dog when he was 8 weeks old. He also graduated from a military training academy, learning commands and e-collar commands in 2 out of 3 weeks. About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.
