About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Now that my daughter has moved out (and took the family dogs with her), my home feels way too quiet. I’m an empty nester with lots of love, time, and patience to give to your pup. I live in a calm, quiet neighborhood and have a large, secure backyard with plenty of space to roam, sniff, and relax—perfect for dogs who love being outdoors but also enjoy a cozy place to rest. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, medications if needed, baths, and lots of affection. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home while you’re away. I’m retired and home most of the day, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m a homebody who truly enjoys spending time with animals. The only time I regularly leave the house is briefly to pick up my granddaughter from daycare. Of course, I always follow each owner’s preferences and only take dogs out if they’re comfortable and approved to do so. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood in the Terranova area of Chula Vista with very little traffic. My home has a large, secure backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax. I supervise all outdoor time and carefully follow each dog’s routine, leash rules, and care instructions. About: I've loved and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I'm naturally curious about them and believe there is no such thing as a bad dog. I am working toward becoming a canine trainer and am currently under apprenticeship. Caring for dogs is very rewarding for me and a true passion of mine. My friends and family have sought me out for advice and to care for their pets and I would love the opportunity to care for yours as well. I have a flexible work schedule and am available for boarding 7 nights per week and for sitting every day. I can also pick up and drop off for an additional fee. I have a large fenced back yard (about 1/8 of an acre), with mixed concrete, dirt with shade. Your pup will be able to play inside and out, and will find it hard not to get along with my 8 year old Labradoodle, Maui.

About: From geckos to fish to guineas Pigs to dogs to now two kittens, I’ve had almost every type of animal in the books. I’ve always had a special love from being around animals and find them to be the most entertaining creatures on this earth. I am fulfilled from taking care of animals as nothing brings more joy than seeing dogs frolic as they run around with the zoomies after a nice meal with a long walk. I also enjoy easy animals who just enjoy the company of others. I’ve potty trained my puppy when I was 10 as well as two kittens just in the month of late October 2023 making me qualified/prepared for any younger pets. I am an online college student so this would be my main priority as I am recently unemployed. I enjoy going out in nature so making this my everyday responsibility would also fulfill my love for the outdoors. I love nothing more than to spend my time nurturing pets. I offer lots of attention as well as making sure their needs are met. Do they seem energetic and need to go on a walk? Do they seem bored and maybe want someone to play with them? Do they have water? Have they been fed? Do they have medicine they need to take? All of these things will constantly be going through my mind to make sure the pet is as happy and as healthy as can be.

I’m very attentive and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I follow routines closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy, clean, and cared for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so pet sitting fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to be available most times of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.

“Very. Nice Pet Sitter & Family who took very good care of my puppy & played w her too. I will hope to be able to go there again. (I would suggest that an Extra Gate be installed on Entrance to side yard area from the back yard to prevent a pet from being able to access side yard as the fence is short and a dog could potentially get over that lower fence especially if they are prone to jump. I was concerned Susie would jump since she is such a jumper & has never been left anywhere before. Sonia assured me she would not be alone outside so I felt better. I appreciated the video that was sent to me too.).”

About: I have had pets for 17 years and so far I have 2 cats and 5 very friendly dogs. I know every behavior and jests at them or if they feel sick I am at home full time. The only time I go out is to go to the market and the occasional medical appointment. The rest of the time I will be caring for and raising your little loved one. My house has a secure fence, a yard to run around in. They will have fun meeting new friends. When they get tired they will sleep in a bed or blanket if they want.
