“An unforeseen change of plans sent me scrambling to look for someone to check-in on and administered medication to my cats a few days before I had to leave town and thankfully Teresa & Tony took on my last minute request with quick responses and coordination. During the booking they were very responsive, alerting me when it appeared that the key I had given them had been misplaced, and kept me informed as the issue was resolved. They were also very kind and generous and offered to refund some of the cost of the booking to make up for the disruption. Overall they were great to work with and did a great job taking care of my cats!”

“Marilyn took great care of our cat, Louie, and we felt very comfortable knowing he was in her care. She visited once a day, spent time playing with him, and always sent photo updates, which we really appreciated. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she was consistently reliable and trustworthy. It was clear she genuinely cared about Louie. We would absolutely book Marilyn again and highly recommend her to other pet parents.”

“Carolina was amazing with my cats! She was able to accommodate my last minute request for an extra day and watch the cats while we were away. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: 🐾 Lifelong Caregiver | Dog, Cat, & Exotic Expert | Detail-Oriented 🌿 About Me: Animals have always been my world. From growing up with dogs to becoming a dedicated cat parent of 6 years, I provide calm, reliable care for every personality. I’m a "routine specialist" who manages 50+ plants, so I’m wired to follow your feeding and medical instructions to the letter. Experience & Services: • Dogs: Lifelong walker experienced in everything from neighborhood strolls to vigorous hikes. • Cats: Expert in kitten care, shy cats, and multi-cat households. • Exotics: Comfortable with rabbits, fish, and even goats! • The Extras: I pride myself on punctuality, high-quality photos, and detailed report cards. Based in Tarrytown. Whether it’s a midday walk, a cat drop-in, or an overnight stay, your pets (and plants!) are in expert hands. As a Product Designer working from a home office, my schedule is incredibly flexible. Because I’m not tied to a traditional 9-to-5 commute, I can easily structure my day around your pet's specific needs rather than squeezing them into a lunch break. My typical routine includes: • Morning & Mid-Day: I use my flexible 'deep work' hours to take breaks for neighborhood walks or drop-in visits. This allows me to be available during the high-demand midday window when most owners are at work. • Weekly Consistency: Since I work from home in Tarrytown full-time, I am a reliable option for recurring weekly schedules. I don’t have to worry about office meetings or travel suddenly changing my availability. • The Designer’s Eye: My profession requires high attention to detail, a skill I bring to pet care by closely following routine instructions, monitoring health/behavior changes, and sending you well-composed photo updates! Whether it's a quick 20-minute check-in or a long walk, my 'home-base' setup ensures I’m always nearby and ready to help. With 8+ years of dog walking experience and 6+ years of being a dedicated cat parent to our cats Luna and Bubba, I’ve built my life around understanding animal behavior. My approach is rooted in the belief that a calm environment and a consistent routine are the keys to a happy pet. Safety First, Always: Safety is my non-negotiable priority. For dogs, this means double-checking harness fits, practicing 'active walking' (staying aware of surroundings/distractions), and ensuring paws are protected from Tarrytown’s winter salt. For cats, I am hyper-vigilant about 'door dashing' and ensuring all windows and entry points are secure before and after I leave. Building Trust Through Patience: I understand that trust isn't given; it’s earned. • For Dogs: I use positive reinforcement and clear communication to build a bond. • For Cats: I specialize in 'low-stress' handling. I let timid cats come to me at their own pace, utilizing my experience with shy rescues to ensure they never feel cornered or overwhelmed. A Controlled & Healthy Environment: Whether I am in your home or mine, I maintain a 'pet-proof' space. • In Your Home: I respect your space and keep it exactly as you left it. Being a parent to 50+ plants, I am also uniquely qualified to ensure your pets stay away from any non-pet-safe greenery. • Health Monitoring: My experience with medications (like Atopica) means I’m always looking for subtle shifts in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits that might indicate a health change. I am deeply passionate about animals, and I treat every client’s pet with the same meticulous care, love, and routine-focused attention that I give my own.
“Becky is amazing! You can tell immediately she is an “animal person” by her energy, and I knew our girls would be in fantastic hands. I was extra nervous since one of our kitties has anxiety and is on medication - it’s a lot to ask of someone else to care for her - but Becky was completely unfazed and didn’t hesitate for a minute. I was totally reassured every minute we were gone and was actually able to enjoy my vacation knowing Becky had everything handled. Thank you, Becky!”

About: I've been around animals and taken care of pets my whole life. I am here for whatever your pet's needs are. Experience with puppies to senior dogs. I am working FT, so I am available in the early mornings (6 am) evenings (after 5 pm) and weekends. I am available for Wed evenings to Thurs noons until March 15. I am flexible with whatever you need me to do for your pet, whether it be daily walks (time specification by owner), specific playtime or feedings, simple medications.
“Eric was very communicative and made sure to share photos and play with my cats while I was gone. Gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing he was stopping by at the times I requested to give them attention, especially since it was a bit out of his way.”

“Erin was an amazing sitter for our cats! Super gentle and careful with instructions, and very prompt with messages! I will definitely reach out to her for future visits and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since the day I was born. I’ve had many cats and dogs (even a couple bunnies!) over the years. Growing up, I spent time pet sitting for neighbors, even had a neighbor who had chickens and goats which I cared for. Currently the owner of two 10 year old cats, who are best friends with our two children. We have just moved into the area and currently my days are flexible. I am happy to come mornings after 8:30 pm, midday or evenings. I am happy to meet your pets and abide by any special instructions, including diet, that will be essential to their care. I understand some pets crave a little extra love and attention so I’m happy to stay extra time with your pet should they need it.
“Rene did an excellent job watching my cats and making sure my one shy cat, Majesty, got his insulin. She was attention detailed and made sure they were fed, had water, and the litter was clean. I would highly recommend Rene to watch your pets.”

“When I was away for a few days, Alex came help taking care of my kitties, and did a wonderful job. From the time our booking was confirmed, through the days I was traveling, she provided great communications, and sent updates after every visit. Alex took great care of my kitties and I am very appreciative of her. I highly recommend her services!”

“Sarah was great (again!) with our elderly cat Morris. She was able to look after him at short notice, and took a snow storm in stride to get to our house. She was kind and patient and handled all his medical issues without a hitch. Highly recommended.”
