“Erin was wonderful, she took great care of my cat Zuko while I was gone, even though he’s a big scaredy and she never saw him when she was here. She stuck to his schedule and followed all the instructions I left, and her daily messages always reassured me that he was ok while I was gone. Highly recommend!!”

“Carolina was incredibly professional, patient with my shy cats, and stayed in close communication with me throughout my time away. I felt great knowing my cats were well looked after, and I’d highly recommend her!”

“Marta is the best! She takes such good care of my 2 cats and is super reliable. It is such a nice thing to have peace of mind that my pets are being so well cared for when I'm away. This is our second booking with Marta....she is now one of our favorites”
“Marilyn is truly a gem! She’s been caring for our kitties for a few years now, and we couldn’t be happier. When we had a last-minute request over Christmas, she stepped in immediately. We’re so grateful for her reliability, kindness, and treating our home & fur babies like her own!”

“I honestly love your visits and from the start I could see that Fumacinha remembered you and was comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to walk him in the visit and be so kind to him. It makes a difference and I always feel at ease even traveling. Thank you”

“Sofia was wonderful! Excellent communication and did me some favors like changing a battery in a beeping smoke alarm and bringing in a package. The cats were particularly needy this time around and she was gracious about all of it. Highly recommend Sofia!”

“Becky cat-sitted for us over thanksgiving. She learned our two cats’ routines quickly, was attentive to their needs, and was very communicative! Already great to come home to happy cats!”

“Erin was an amazing sitter for our cats! Super gentle and careful with instructions, and very prompt with messages! I will definitely reach out to her for future visits and highly recommend her.”
“Grace took such good care of Kona. It was the first time we had left him alone and she sent pictures and was very communicative with us and that meant the world. Kona loved her and we will definitely book with her again!!”

About: We've had 2 puppies come into our home since 2013 and I have LOVED loving them & being loved by them more than anything in the world. I was one of those kids who wanted a dog more than anything else growing up and to finally have had a puppy was the best day of my life! However, I have been a student in the area for a few years now and have been missing having a pet to share my love with. Though this is my first time as an official pet caretaker, I have cared for my own dogs as well as many of the dogs in our family as if they are my own throughout the years. I’m a medical student with senioritis so I will be pretty flexible in the coming months! I will most often be available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends, unless I am traveling or working a busy schedule that week! I do not have a yard or ability to care for pets in my home as it is not pet-friendly; however, I am in close proximity to the parks of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow!
About: I’ve had dogs in my home for 14 years and cats my whole life. I’ve had dogs of small and large sizes and can handle a dog of any personality I am currently a full time college student looking to get more involved in my community. I have a pretty free schedule for drop ins or walks I do not offer in home service at this time. I can provide walks and drop ins only! sorry if this is inconvenient, thank you.
“Danny dropped in daily to check in and feed our cat and did an amazing job! He was super responsive and communicated daily with photos. It was great having the peace of mind while out of the country.”

About: I am an engineering student at the University of Bath and have had pets ever since I was a kid! I have 2 cats, and have always loved to take care of them, as well as taking care of pets for friends and family. Experience with dogs, cats, pets with disabilities, etc. I am currently home for summer break with a remote internship and can pet sit any time from now until August! Available any time of day or overnight I am happy to feed, play with, and just hang out and take care of any pets! I feed my cats twice a day, clean litter boxes, etc. but I’m flexible and happy to do any care needed!
About: My deep, personal love for animals started with my childhood golden retriever. Since losing him, I've missed the daily joy and companionship that pets bring. Being able to interact with animals again has become a way for me to reconnect with that special bond I once had. I am very attentive to emotional and physical needs and treat every pet like family! Currently, I am a full-time physician assistant student and am in clinical rotations at different hospitals and clinics across NY. Whenever I'm not working with humans, I want to care for your pet! :) When caring for pets at your home or around the block, I want to do my best to make sure that your animal is maintaining their normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I see value in sending regular updates and cleaning up after your pet!
About: I grew up always having a dog in my home, and my parents made sure that I understood having a pet meant responsibility. I was responsible for helping to feed, clean up after, walk, brush, and play with our dogs. I've even learned how to train dogs with simple commands (sit, stay, lay down, roll over, and "play dead" which is super cute!) I love dogs with a passion, and love taking care of them no matter big or small, old or young. Every dog is a puppy in my eyes!
Sleepy Hollow cat parents share their Rover experiences
Marilyn took great care of our cat, Louie, and we felt very comfortable knowing he was in her care. She visited once a day, spent time playing with him, and always sent photo updates, which we really appreciated. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she was consistently reliable and trustworthy. It was clear she genuinely cared about Louie. We would absolutely book Marilyn again and highly recommend her to other pet parents.

Mia was terrific, and I highly recommend her services. She took excellent care of my cat and sent me fun photos from her visits. I met Mia for a walkthrough before my trip, and she was very professional and personable. She obviously cares very much about animals, and I trusted her completely with my cat. Thank you, Mia!
