We left a piece of our heart with her for two weeks and she kept us updated everyday with videos and pictures and letting us know that Chloe was eating well and loved the other dogs she was with. Chloe is 12 and stopped playing with toys years ago, at Doreens she decided to play with toys again. It was so heartwarming to see, we will be using Doreen for all our petsitting needs with Chloe.”

About: We've had 2 puppies come into our home since 2013 and I have LOVED loving them & being loved by them more than anything in the world. I was one of those kids who wanted a dog more than anything else growing up and to finally have had a puppy was the best day of my life! However, I have been a student in the area for a few years now and have been missing having a pet to share my love with. Though this is my first time as an official pet caretaker, I have cared for my own dogs as well as many of the dogs in our family as if they are my own throughout the years. I’m a medical student with senioritis so I will be pretty flexible in the coming months! I will most often be available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends, unless I am traveling or working a busy schedule that week! I do not have a yard or ability to care for pets in my home as it is not pet-friendly; however, I am in close proximity to the parks of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow!

About: I have over 20 years of experience taking care of dogs. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years straight, the last 10 years with two dogs. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs (from chihuahua to Great Dane) and connect easily with them. After all, I am a dog myself (per the Chinese Zodiac!) Currently I have two rescue dogs: A special needs (epilepsy) Healer/Aussie Shepherd mix named Ace and a senior Supermutt named Maisie. We lost our senior Boston Terrier in early 2023 due to Cushings and Cancer. So, I have experience taking care of dogs from puppy through hospice. Medications and special food needs are no problem. NOTE: As I have two dogs of my own.....if your dog is not well socialized and does not get along with all other dogs, big and small, or has a history of aggressive behavior, please do not put in a "Boarding" booking request. Socialized, friendly dogs only, please. No excessive whiners or barkers and dogs must weigh 35 lbs or less. Thank you! Reliable, Responsible, Mature. I'm currently retired so am able to spend all of my time caring for my animals (and yours). The most i'll ever leave the house for is 2-3 hours for an appointment, but this is rare. We start our days with breakfast at 7am, take a morning hike in the woods or trails or town. Then some relax time at home before lunch and a 1pm neighborhood walk. Then more home time and play or naps until our 4pm hike. Then dinner at 5. All meal times adjustable for your dog's needs. I am able to be home 99% of the time so am always able to focus on the pets needs. I have been an animal lover my whole life and care deeply about the health and well being of animals in my care or under my stewardship. We live close to many hiking trails and nature preserves so the dogs always get plenty of sniff walks and exercise and socialization. Always on leash and always careful of meeting unknown dogs that may be receptive. I'm pretty good at sussing out a dog's behavior signals, if we should meet or not, after so many years.

About: Hi all! My name is Lily, and I am finishing up a marine studies degree with an anthropology minor. The things I love the most in the world are animals and children. Most of my previous jobs have been babysitting as well as house and petsitting. About: My parents got me my first dog Tokyo, when I was 9 , a beautiful short-haired black and brown mutt and I've been dog-crazy ever since. I recently moved to New York leaving my 10-year-old Great Dane, Maxine, with my parents, which breaks my heart . “Sara and her home were the perfect fit for our anxious dog, Mazie. Sara is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and how to handle them. She successfully gave Mazie medication 3 times a day and prepared special meals for her. We received photos via text while we were away showing how happy and acclimated Mazie was there. “Grace was excellent with our dog, Leni. He had some serious separation anxiety when we dropped him off and went on a hunger strike for several days. Not only did Grace keep us hell informed, she went above and beyond in trying to make Leni feel comfortable in her home and went as far as spoon feeding him to get him to eat. We're so thankful for all that she did to take care of Leni. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a loving and caring home in which to leave their pup while traveling.
