This was really helpful to familiarize everyone in advance and a big help to us to see how well our boys got along with “human puppies” - worked out so great! While we were gone, Jessica sent a bunch of FANTASTIC pics to keep us informed. Being new to our dogs and this being the first time we hired at home sitters for them, I think Jessica and I learned a few things simple we can do to clarify communication with each other in advance which went really well considering we had so little time to prepare! Would definitely welcome Jessica and the kids back again - our boys really loved them and enjoyed their time together - and they were happily exhausted when we got home still sleeping some 4 hours later! About: I’ve taken care of many pets over the years. I’ve done both drop-ins for walking and feeding, as well as house sitting to provide enrichment and company. Every animal that I’ve met has liked me, even if their owner says they’re normally shy around new people, which I take as the highest compliment. I’ve administered medication, and the safety and wellbeing of the pet is my top priority. I respect any boundaries that the animal displays, whether it’s distance or petting, and I make sure to ask for any special routines or needs up front to make sure I can take care of them to the best of my ability. I work full time during the week while also being a full time online student, but I’m available to stop in before 8:45am and after 6:30pm. Weekends are usually open for drop-ins or house sitting. If there are any baby gates or areas restricted to the pets, I make sure to keep an eye on that. I wipe paws after being outside to keep the house clean, and if your pet needs company while they eat, I’ll absolutely sit with them.

About: I have worked in the pet wellness field for over 15 years. I do Reiki, Gentle Massages, supplements & essential oils for pets and people. Normally I work from home. I have flexible hours and am able to come to your home/work to care for your dogs/cats as clients need. I care for pets in clients homes as long as they have a fenced in yard and would like to bring my dog with me.

This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are doing well. If pets stay in my home, they will be treated like family in a safe, clean, and supervised environment. I'll follow their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. My goal is to ensure every pet feels comfortable, secure, and cared for whether they're staying with me or I'm caring for them in their own home.
