“Chris took such good care of our dogs. During our initial meeting, he asked follow up questions so that he clearly understood the feeding routine. He asked other questions that let us know he read the profile ahead of time. His daily updates provided excellent information and great photos. We are so happy for what Chris did. We highly recommend him. We will always check his availability when we are going out of town.”

“Carol has been one of the absolute best pet sitters we have ever worked with. She has amazing experience working with dog rescues and a genuine love for animals that is clear to see. She is reliable, trust worthy, and an excellent communicator before and during the pet sitting. We have an English bulldog and a basset hound both of which can be quite stubborn and high maintenance and her expert level experience shows in caring for them. Thank you Carol, you are the best!”

“Mary pays lots of attention to our dog. Stewie is usually anxious when we've been away but the time and attention that Mary gives to her while she cares for her makes all the differnece. Mary also takes good care of our home while we are away!”

About: I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have lots of experience feeding, walking, and taking care of them! I also have experience with senior animals! Mostly available evenings and weekends. I will work with you to schedule times that work for you and your animals. I will be as flexible as possible! For dogs, I can walk, feed, play with them, and give them medicine if needed. For cats, I can play, feed, change litter boxes, and make sure they are happy!

“Liz was a wonderful dog sitter! She dealt very well with schedule changes and dogs not following the plan. My two dogs seemed to really like her. I highly recommend Liz”

“Aston has stayed at our house twice to watch our dog. I absolutely recommend him. He’s trustworthy, kind and made us feel at ease with leaving our dog in his care. Thanks, Aston!”

“Jessica was lovely to work with. She sent pictures of our dogs to me every day that we were away. She also cared for our chickens. She was respectful of our home and communicated what times she would be there. Will use again in the future!”
“To say Melissa went above and beyond would be an understatement! She showed up for us on short notice and took good care of our pups on Thanksgiving! Thank you Melissa, Tex and Brady felt the love and we loved the piece of mind knowing they were in good hands!”

“Annie was great with our two little pups and our senior cat. She was very tentative to their schedules and routines. Follows directions and requests as well. She was the first (of a few) that our older dog actually warmed up to, immediately. Communication was great, with updates constantly. We'll definitely have her house/pet sit again!”

“Maeve took the extra step to go to our vets to drop off a sample when she thought Piper had a UTI. She was correct and then went back to pick up meds. Treated Piper like her own. Piper has anxiety and I felt very comfortable leaving her in Maeve's care”

“Shea was the perfect dog (and house) sitter. We came home to a relaxed senior dog and the house just as we had left it. Shea is professional and responsive. We will definitely be booking with Shea again!”

“Joshua stepped in to help on short notice when I had to travel overnight for a funeral. (I just moved in and wasn’t even completely unpacked yet.) He visited before staying over night to meet my dog and me. He’s a great communicator and sent videos in addition to messages to let me know Scout was doing well. Joshua has a great vibe and made me feel relaxed about handing over my key to a person I just met. The house looked like no one even stayed here. He was great with Scout and I’ll definitely ask him for help on a regular basis.”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets over the years. I’ve done both drop-ins for walking and feeding, as well as house sitting to provide enrichment and company. Every animal that I’ve met has liked me, even if their owner says they’re normally shy around new people, which I take as the highest compliment. I’ve administered medication, and the safety and wellbeing of the pet is my top priority. I respect any boundaries that the animal displays, whether it’s distance or petting, and I make sure to ask for any special routines or needs up front to make sure I can take care of them to the best of my ability. I work full time during the week while also being a full time online student, but I’m available to stop in before 8:45am and after 6:30pm. Weekends are usually open for drop-ins or house sitting. If there are any baby gates or areas restricted to the pets, I make sure to keep an eye on that. I wipe paws after being outside to keep the house clean, and if your pet needs company while they eat, I’ll absolutely sit with them.

About: My family and I have taken in rescue dogs for almost all of my life, I love being able to help these pups out in any way I can! I work a full time 40 hour a week job Monday to Friday, live locally to work and leave the weekends free to help out in any way I can whether that’s filled with activities or a relaxing few days in! I live in a nicely sized apartment which comes with lots of grass and walking areas around the complex, as well as a large park across the street with its own dog park! I am active so walks, runs and parks are most definitely in the picture if asked!
“Sarah is amazing! My dogs are both anxious weirdos and my elderly cat is on two different medications, and Sarah was great with all of them. She’s very professional, a great communicator, and left the house super clean. Definitely recommend her!”

Tariffville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Chris was very responsive and communicative! Our dog is a 1+ year old pit who has been with us for less than a year, so we were anxious about subjecting someone else to his energy and antics. This was our first time leaving him home for more than a few hours, but all went well! Plenty of pictures from his walks and cuddles, and the house was in great shape too.
