“Angela has once again exceeded my expectations caring for my pup, Eleanor. I let her know she had an upset stomach before coming and Angela had chicken with rice ready to go. “Kathryn and Jeremy were great, can't recommend them enough. They were extremely communicative both before Bella's stay and during, updating us with pictures etc throughout the day. The couple are very well versed in dog behavior/needs and asked all the right questions to make us feel confident Bella was going to be well cared for and safe. When we picked Bella up she was very comfortable in their home and was resting with Kathryn and Jeremy. If you are looking for trustworthy couple to watch your pup with love and attention, this is it!”

“Tyler watched our 5-month-old puppy, Cooper, for 11 days while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! It’s always hard to find someone you can truly trust with your pet, but Tyler made the process so easy and stress-free. Cooper had such a great time with Tyler, and it was clear he was well cared for and happy. We especially appreciated the regular updates—Tyler sent us photos and videos throughout, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended! We will go with Tyler again!”

She enjoys teaching family dog obedience, barn hunt, weight pull, nosework, and tricks as well as modifying fearful, reactive, and aggressive behaviors in dogs. Kara is a judge for United States Canine Scent Sports (USCC) and Happy Ratters, and is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog evaluator. Finally, she also serves as a puppy raiser for various service dog organizations and works closely with several rescues in state. Kara has always been a natural teacher. She has a sincere passion and enthusiasm for learning and educating people. Kara holds a master’s degree Medieval Studies with a focus on British and French literature, and is a former college professor. However, she credits her true calling to become a dog trainer to her dad, who seemed to possess the ability to charm ant dog he met, as well as her previous dog, Angelus, a rescued Rottweiler x German Shepherd x Husky mix. It was Angelus’s struggle with separation anxiety that sparked Kara’s interest in animal training and behavior. Kara loves to learn and has benefited from shadowing and being mentored by various dog trainers throughout her career, learning about everything from obedience and sports to pets and behavior modification to service dogs and personal protection/bite work. She regularly attends conferences, seminars, workshops, and webinars to enhance her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest training techniques. Furthermore, she holds a nationally recognized dog training certificate (knowledge assessed) through The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Currently, and is pursuing a certification in canine behavior. She also has extensive experience raising and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. She holds a certificate in CPR and Canine First Aid through The American Red Cross and is comfortable administering medication. Kara’s other interests include all forms of canine medicine (including natural, alternative, and holistic approaches), nutrition, canine fitness and conditioning, and biological fulfillment. Working from home has allowed me to be flexible with my time and also focus on the animals in my care. There is plenty of time for one on one attention, snuggles, walks, enrichment opportunities, and exercise. I believe in being proactive and not reactive. I believe in thinking about something, having a plan for what could go wrong, and what can go right, and then executing that plan. Trying to foresee all potential outcomes and plan accordingly keeps everyone safe. At my house, there is a fenced in backyard, with dual gated entrances to make accidental escapes virtually impossible. Inside my house, I live in a gated community. Gates and crates are utilized as necessary in order to keep everyone safe. There are multiple entrances to help maintain an organized flow of traffic. I like to do meet and greets for new clients in order to make sure everything is a good fit and I can answer any questions you may have.

I currently have a dog of my own named Leo he’s a super sweet boxer lab mix who’s great with all animals and people. This summer I am free a lot and can make my schedule work around any drop ins and walks. I just need a day or two notice so I can plan around everything but I look forward to working with your pets. I love animals especially dogs. I’ve always been very kind to animals making sure they feel safe with me and know I want to care for them. I like to make sure dogs understand me and that can create some trust and build a good relationship.

About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

“Heather is the absolute best dog walker we have ever had. She goes above and beyond on each visit, always staying longer than she needs to to make sure our dog is happy and taken care of. We trust her completely. She will even bring her own toys to help exercise our very active beagle. She sends adorable pictures and notes with each visit. Recently, she went back to our house after her scheduled visit to open windows because she was concerned the fumes from some floor staining would affect our animals! She is very attentive and responds quickly to any questions or concerns we have. Her schedule is very flexible and accommodates whatever we need. You can tell she truly cares for all animals. We love Heather and recommend her without any reservation!!”

“Astro came back looking as happy as ever, and I appreciate the fact that he let him play with other dogs. Very friendly! If need be, I will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Mayra was wonderful! She treated my girl like she was hers. My Clover is very shy and doesn’t usually cozy up to people right away. But she did with Mayra and her family; she felt right at home. Mayra communicated the whole time with updates and pictures of how Clover was doing.”

“Thanks for watching the boys! I can be a nervous dog mom and also worried that 2 XL dogs with puppy/teen brain can be A LOT for most people. So glad they were well taken care of, appreciated the pictures, and the pups weren’t anxious at pick up so I know it went well! Highly recommend and will book again”
