“Angela and Tommy are the best! Angela sent daily pictures of Dolly and provided updates which provided great comfort while we were away! Dolly had lots of fun and when she got home was a happy girl! So lucky we found her”

“I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with Katie! She did a great job reassuring me that my dog would do fine and she would text me if there were any issues. She also sent me a picture throughout the day. I would definitely go to her again.”

“MJ was terrific with my 5 month old bordoodle puppy. She kept me updated about how he was doing during the week I was traveling, and sent me lots of pictures. I was extremely comfortable that MJ, a responsible dog owner herself, was taking great care of Nacho and treating him as one of her own. He got plenty of play time and love and snuggles. She also made sure to carefully introduce him to her three dogs- I think my puppy had a real vacation at her home! I was skittish leaving Nacho anywhere with other dogs due to a bad experience he recently had at a doggie day care, but MJ quickly put me at ease and clearly treated him wonderfully. Nacho has some new friends now! I would HIGHLY recommend MJ to anyone.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Haoran and would absolutely give her 5 stars. From the very beginning, she asked thoughtful questions that made us feel confident and at ease leaving our dog in her care. Right after drop-off, she sent us a message with photos to let us know how our dog was settling in, which was incredibly comforting. Throughout the three days, she kept us updated with pictures and messages, and we could clearly see that our dog was getting plenty of playtime, exercise, good food, and enjoying time with the other dog. When we picked her up, our dog was calm, balanced, and happy—which says everything. We would recommend Haoran anytime. She has a beautiful space with plenty of room for dogs to play, and she took excellent care of our dog while keeping us consistently updated, which we truly appreciated.”

“Kathryn and Jeremy were great, can't recommend them enough. They were extremely communicative both before Bella's stay and during, updating us with pictures etc throughout the day. The couple are very well versed in dog behavior/needs and asked all the right questions to make us feel confident Bella was going to be well cared for and safe. When we picked Bella up she was very comfortable in their home and was resting with Kathryn and Jeremy. If you are looking for trustworthy couple to watch your pup with love and attention, this is it!”

“This was the second time that my dog Victor stayed at Nazim's. From the time we started pulling into the neighborhood he knew exactly where he wad and became immediately excited. Really, appreciated the updates during the day and the activities provided by Nazim. My first choice for booking a stay for my pet!”

“Tyler was fantastic! For our extended vacation, he was perfect. Our girls were well cared for. One had a digestive issue before we left and he cared for diligently. I was given regular updates and sent pictures in which I could see how happy the girls were. I would definitely recommend Tyler to anyone and my husband agrees - we will positively use him again. Thank you Tyler!!”

“Karina and her husband Jared are fantastic! This was our second time having them watch our dog, Nova, while we were away on vacation. Nova ends up getting her own vacation when staying at Karina & Jared's house! They always take such good care of Nova and Karina always gives us updates on Nova twice a day! We are so grateful that we found such amazing people to care for our pup when we are away! We (especially Nova) look forward to seeing Karina and Jared again soon! Thank you both so much for always being there and taking such amazing care of our Nova!! 10/10 recommendation!”

“Allison was so great with our dog Wendy! Allison had no problem giving Wendy daily medication, and she sent regular updates and was so easy to communicate with. Wendy had a great time, and we were so relieved knowing she was in good hands while we were away! We won’t hesitate to use Allison again!”

“I would highly recommended Ifan! This was the first time I have ever boarded my dog Charli and he regularly updated me about how Charli was doing and provided Charli with great outdoor/indoor playtime with other pup friends as well. Ifan himself was very responsive to any messages I sent him. If I ever need to board Charli again I will definitely do so with Ifan and would suggest others to do the same.”

“Mayra was wonderful! She treated my girl like she was hers. My Clover is very shy and doesn’t usually cozy up to people right away. But she did with Mayra and her family; she felt right at home. Mayra communicated the whole time with updates and pictures of how Clover was doing.”

About: Kara proudly calls Connecticut home, and has had the opportunity to teach and assist with classes at various dog training facilities in state and in Massachusetts. She enjoys teaching family dog obedience, barn hunt, weight pull, nosework, and tricks as well as modifying fearful, reactive, and aggressive behaviors in dogs. Kara is a judge for United States Canine Scent Sports (USCC) and Happy Ratters, and is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog evaluator. Finally, she also serves as a puppy raiser for various service dog organizations and works closely with several rescues in state. Kara has always been a natural teacher. She has a sincere passion and enthusiasm for learning and educating people. Kara holds a master’s degree Medieval Studies with a focus on British and French literature, and is a former college professor. However, she credits her true calling to become a dog trainer to her dad, who seemed to possess the ability to charm ant dog he met, as well as her previous dog, Angelus, a rescued Rottweiler x German Shepherd x Husky mix. It was Angelus’s struggle with separation anxiety that sparked Kara’s interest in animal training and behavior. Kara loves to learn and has benefited from shadowing and being mentored by various dog trainers throughout her career, learning about everything from obedience and sports to pets and behavior modification to service dogs and personal protection/bite work. She regularly attends conferences, seminars, workshops, and webinars to enhance her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest training techniques. Furthermore, she holds a nationally recognized dog training certificate (knowledge assessed) through The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Currently, and is pursuing a certification in canine behavior. She also has extensive experience raising and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. She holds a certificate in CPR and Canine First Aid through The American Red Cross and is comfortable administering medication. Kara’s other interests include all forms of canine medicine (including natural, alternative, and holistic approaches), nutrition, canine fitness and conditioning, and biological fulfillment. Working from home has allowed me to be flexible with my time and also focus on the animals in my care. There is plenty of time for one on one attention, snuggles, walks, enrichment opportunities, and exercise. I believe in being proactive and not reactive. I believe in thinking about something, having a plan for what could go wrong, and what can go right, and then executing that plan. Trying to foresee all potential outcomes and plan accordingly keeps everyone safe. At my house, there is a fenced in backyard, with dual gated entrances to make accidental escapes virtually impossible. Inside my house, I live in a gated community. Gates and crates are utilized as necessary in order to keep everyone safe. There are multiple entrances to help maintain an organized flow of traffic. I like to do meet and greets for new clients in order to make sure everything is a good fit and I can answer any questions you may have.

“Klaudia was awesome! Our elderly dog had a health crisis while she was caring for him, and she took him to the vet, was very good with communication, and really cared about our guy for 2 days while we made our way home early from vacation. Highest recommendation!!”

“I felt very confident my dog would be very well taken care of. I’ve left him with Liz for long periods multiple times, and each time I felt at ease. It’s clear she truly cares and will treat the pets she cares for as her own.”
