“You can't put a price on piece of mind. As an overt protective pet parent, it is hard to let strangers take care of my 2 pups. Holly helped arrange an introduction ahead of time, she was flexible, and most importantly, she was everything she said she would be with my furry babies. 1 of my pups is blind and a little selective with his love. When Holly walked in the door, she sat on the floor with them, and he immediately curled up in her lap. It was so special to see. I am so grateful to have Holly as piece of mind. THANK YOU!!!!!”

“Audrey is fantastic! Our dogs appear to really enjoy her visits. She captures their individual personalities in the pictures that she sends. She is on time and spends more than our agreed upon time with our boys ❤️ She’s a life saver!! So glad we found her!”

“kailey was wonderful with my shy girl, and very patient! Lucy doesn’t warm up to new people or routines very easily, but Kailey took all that in stride and is working on developing Lucy’s trust.”

“It was our first time to leave Mosyo alone for long hours and we decided to look for someone who can take him out once for a walk and give his food afterwards. Luckily we met Laura and she took care of him all week. Mosyo loved her at the first seight and was really excited when he was waiting to see her every day on the same time. Laura is so nice, easy to communicate, ready to help even in unexpected situations. She even left us a little box of cherry tomatoes from her own garden ? We all loved her so much and will definetely contact her when we need help again!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from livestock to household pets. Today, I extend that care to my friends’ pets whenever they need support, looking after everything from dogs and cats to more unique companions like snakes and chickens. My lifelong connection to animals has given me the skills and intuition needed to ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a part-time web designer and content creator, I work primarily online, which allows me to maintain a highly flexible schedule. Since I set my own hours, I can easily accommodate pet care, always making time for dog walks, cat brushing, and any other needs. My adaptable routine ensures consistent and attentive care for all pets. I’ve had experience both welcoming pets into my home and house-sitting for others. I’m based in Taos, where there’s a fenced yard and access to great hikes nearby. If I stay at your home, you can expect it to be well-cared for, left clean, and I can also manage tasks like plant care as needed. NOTE for boarding: I do have a cat. Any visiting dogs must be cat-friendly and respect cat boundaries.

“Nadine was amazing! She was responsive, prompt, professional, cheerful and enthusiastic! She even sent me pictures of my dog so happy on the walk!! I know Nadine took good care of Lupita and she had a great walk because she is wiped! Highly recommend!!!!”

About: I have 6+ years of experience house-sitting and taking care of people's pets of all ages and breeds. Taking care of an animal and making them feel loved are two different things... I make sure to do both. I work remotely as a virtual assistant and content creator so my schedule is very flexible. I have two cats of my own that I get to spend all my time with. Whether it's just a drop-in or a walk, I provide you, your animal, and your home with respect, trust, and transparency. I can follow your lead and instructions while providing love to your furry friends.

About: My energy will pass the unspoken dog meeting test - I guarantee it. 🤓 As a responsible and detail-oriented pet sitter, I take pride in ensuring your pets are well cared for and happy. With a fun and engaging approach, I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and you can count on me to give them the attention and care they deserve. I have experience with small puppies with little to no training and senior puppies who need a bit more focus. I am currently opening my schedule to allow for new clients. Besides a few periods of brief travel, I have an open calendar and am available for bookings. I AM available for weekend and night bookings at this time. My home is clean and refreshing. I provide space for pets to rest, play, and get exercise and fresh air. I aim to find a balance between play, dedicated attention, and relaxation whether in my home or yours. I am happy to consider any and all accommodations that you may need to feel secure and comfortable.

“Great first meet-and-greet with Caitlin! She is very friendly and is a very capable and loving dog-person, even with challenging dogs. We are looking forward to having her walk and stay with our dogs again soon.”

“Alison was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond for our dog Oliver who needed some minor medical attention when we were unavailable. I can’t thank her enough for helping us and taking car of our sweet Oliver.”

About: Hey everyone! I am Izzi! I am a remote personal assistant & because of this I have lots of flexible hours. Apart from loads of childcare experience & nannying for many families with pets ranging from dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, I also frequently house sit & pet sit in the area Philly suburb area! I am super easy going & very flexible, I love all animals & being outside in nature. I grew up with two HUGE amazing & cuddly Bernese mountain dogs. Marshall, who is still with my family, has a ton of health problems, so typically feed him special food, provide his medication & ear drops when my parents aren’t in town. They have a place in FL & the Bernese would just be too hot in that climate so can’t go down with them! I am extremely active and enjoy yoga, hiking, skiing and running! I joined Rover because I have ample free time & would love to spend it loving your furry friends! I typically have 1-2 remote meetings a day between 9:30-1pm ET. During these meetings though I can provide house sitting services. Before & after these meetings I have tons of free time. If you need super early pet care, late/overnight care, & even during the day I am mostly free! I grew up with 2 large berneses! One is still living with my parents, who split there time between PA/FL so I often take care of him. He has TONS of health issues. He gets special mix of wet and dry food w/ coconut oil each morning, daily allergy medication, & ear drops. I’ve had to administer different medications for him as well such as fever medicine. I typically roll this medication in some cheese & that’s how he gets it down! I am capable of any type of care for any animal such as feeding, walking, giving medication, taking to the vet, taking to the park etc. My roommate also has a Pitt mix & is in Vet school, so I occasionally feed & walk him for her when she is busy. He is very enthusiastic & strong so I can manage these types of dogs !

About: I'm an animal communicator and energy healer, so if your animals are in need of communicating anything to you I can relay that information. I've been around all types of animals my whole life and have always had a special way of communicating with them. I have a very calming energy that is very healing for the animals I care for. I’ve taken care of dogs and have been a pet sitter for over 20 years now. I'm a go to sitter for my friends, family, co-workers as well as their friends, family and co-workers. I’m very attentive to the animals needs and wants and can pick up on things intuitively that your pets are going through or experiencing. I treat every animal I care for as if they are my own and take the responsibility of caring for animals very seriously. I also will get down and play with them and interact with them on a soul to soul level. I understand that your pets are part of your family and I treat them as such. I often get told I take care of people’s animals better than they do. I have a deep love for animals and I always share that love with the animals I care for. I'm well-versed in administrating medication, dog walking and grooming. I had a job as a pet groomer, so if your animal needs a bath and brush during our time together- you can add that to our time together. Please note, I don't do nail trims or coat trims- only bath and brush. I also have a special skill set of working with breeds that are picky eaters and have digestive issues such as Shih Tzus. My schedule is flexible as I currently work remotely so I have time to spend with your pet and show them the attention they need. I’m also an introvert and empath so I don’t spend long hours away from the pets I care for. I’d rather be playing or hanging out with animals any day of the week. I'm available for overnight pet sits, check ins as well as dog walking. I take care of pets in client’s home with the utmost respect and care as possible. I take responsibility of the pet and home as if they were my own. If there are instructions left for the pet I will follow them to a ‘T.’ I also have the ability to intuitively pick up on the pets cues of being anxious, uncomfortable, happy, sad and any emotion in between. I'm very attentive on dog walks, always scanning the area for cars, other dogs, stray dogs, and people. Your dogs safety is my highest priority.

About: I'll walk, sit and board your dog while you're away! Whatever you need. I'm a graduate student with open availability. I can come to your place for a quick or long visit. While boarding, I'll feed and walk; watch movies; play or just lounge around. I was raised on a farm with many animals and currently have a well-behaved dog of my own. Let me know the fine details of what you prefer and I'll make sure to see it through. I live near a dog park and I travel around the outdoors and hiking places your dogs will love, too. I look forward to hearing from you. I have a friendly cat and can care for cats, too! Animals of all types are welcome. I’m a graduate student that loves animals! I was raised on a farm and look forward to caring for whatever pet you have. I have open availability so anytime is a good time! I have a fenced yard and take my friendly dog to a local, fenced dog park. Pets are welcome to roam around my house and lounge as they please, or bird watch outside in the yard.

About: I've taken care of pets most of my adult life. I've rescued dogs, feral cats and volunteer time at a horse rescue as well. I love taking dogs for hikes and/or walks, or staying in with your pet. I've trained dogs and horses throughout my life and love all breeds! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so pet care is something I can devote time to. I'm an avid hiker, so working in dog walking is great as well. I can pick up an animal for a walk/hike or walk from the clients home. I normally like to meet the pet and owner when possible and spend some time getting to know you & your pet, their routine so they feel comfortable and safe when I arrive for our first pet sit or walk.

“Had a long work day and staying in an Airbnb that’s a hard to reach location. Victoria was super flexible with everything and worked with me as I was on calls when she picked up and dropped off Harlow. Kathryn S.
“Katy has been my go-to house & dog sitter for over two years now. I have two small Shih Tzus who have various dietary & health issues at any given time that can worsen quickly if we do not pay close attention to changes in behavior or physicality. She diligently administers any medications or treatments as required. I travel with full confidence and assurance that Katy watches closely and does not take lightly what seems insignificant. She makes extra effort to be sure that my dogs are not only comfortable but also enjoying their experience, making plans for walks or excursions to places that will give them a much-needed exercise or outlet for extra energy. She is attentive to any threats or distractions while they are away from the house & prioritizes safety. I make my dogs' food from scratch so Katy is great with the added steps of needing to defrost or prepare meals. Because I work from home, my dogs are used to having company most of the day and Katy is mindful to not leave them for longer than their limits. Additionally, Katy takes exceptional care of my home and my belongings, leaving a clean, orderly & well maintained household. I have an old house with little quirks and I appreciated Katy not being bothered by having to pay attention to these details. I appreciate that clear communication is a high priority for Katy and when she isn't clear, she doesn't hesitate to ask questions. Her attention to detail is so appreciated when needing to make decisions or give her direction. I have been so blessed to be able to entrust Katy with my two most valuable assets so that I can focus on being present wherever my travel takes me.”

Justin H.
“Justin is a wonderful caretaker of both dogs and cats. He’s taken care of both my animals. He is attentive, kind, and responsible. He can handle large and small dogs and does well with friendly or moody pets. He loves to give dogs plenty of outlets to let their energy out, including walks, fetch, trips to the dog park, etc. I’d trust him with my pets anytime.”

Elise M.
“I've never known anyone who takes better care of animals than Elise! She loves and cares for them like the best parent. Above anyone, I would trust Elise with my furry loved ones. She's also extremely reliable, a good communicator with humans as well as animals, and walks many miles daily. Your dog would love to join her!”

Victoria Z.
