3. Cassandra G.
“I’ve never met someone who loves dogs as much as this girl. She’s so sweet to all animals. And dogs have a special place in her heart. And if she could have all the dogs In the world she would. One of her dreams is to have a ranch for saving dogs and all animals.”

7. Marcella M.
“Marcella is great with dogs! All three of my dogs love her and are always excited to see her. Our newest dog, Cash, was nervous and we believe mistreated by his previous owners. When Marcella first met Cash, he warmed up to her right away without hesitation. Marcella has a way about her that I believe dogs can sense and know that she just wants to be their friend. You won’t regret having her around your dogs.”

8. Levi O.

9. Nicole N.
“I highly recommend Nicole as a dog caregiver and walker. She is incredibly responsible, reliable, and loving with every dog she cares for. Nicole’s attention to detail and genuine affection for animals ensure that each pet receives the best care. My dog always looks forward to her walks and is happy and well-cared for when I return. Having entrusted her with the care of my dog for some time now, I can confidently say she is one of the most responsible, reliable, and compassionate pet caretakers I’ve ever encountered. Nicole has a true love for animals, and it’s clear from the way she interacts with my dog — she treats every pet like her own.”

About: During the past nine years, I've generally taken care of small pets, but I also have experience with medium/large-sized dogs. Also, I've fostered a lot of cats and kittens and placed them in loving homes. I do work full-time at a retail store, but I'll do my best to meet your pet(s) needs. As a pet owner myself, I always check to make sure your pet(s) and mine are healthy and ready to face the day :) I have a cozy fenced yard and two little dogs to keep your pup company. Additionally, I provide a medium crate for your dog(s) if required.

13. Jacob W.
“Jacob is fantastic with animals, which I have seen firsthand from him interacting with his own dogs as well as animals he has been in contact with at others' homes, public settings, etc. I would most certainly recommend him for caring for your pets, whether they be dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, or even fish. Jacob is also a very honest and trustworthy individual, and is always polite. Knowing and interacting with Jacob is always a fantastic experience. Jacob is one of very few people that I would feel 100% safe with and confident in leaving my pet with him for any extended amount of time. He is always certain to follow your exact directions for pet care, and is very good about communicating. I highly recommend you consider Jacob as your pet sitter/walker.”

14. Keara B.
“Keara housesat for my pup Chester and I recommend her highly! While we were gone, I got all kinds of lovely updates on their adventures around town together. On the day I came home they had gone down to play in the Rio Grande, and I got back a clean, exhausted, and very happy dog.”

About: I have been dog and cat walking and sitting since the age of 11. Sometimes as my full time job and sometimes as a way to make some extra cash. I absolutely love all fur babies of every size, breed, and age! I am not assuaged by the more aggressive and/or larger dog breeds. I have experience caring for pitbulls, boxers, huskies, golden retrievers, labradors, collies, and hounds, as well as various smaller breeds. I have pet sat for both dogs and cats from ages 2-months to super seniors! I love them all! I am not currently a pet mom to any cats or dogs, but I have been in the past and my partner and I are the pet parents to a feisty bearded dragon, one adorable turtle, two silly toads, one lazy pac-man frog, one chill beta fish, and a tank of four high-energy salt-water fish! 😊 We recently laid to rest Pixie our hamster, Lucy our ferret, and Anthony our saltwater eel. Lucy and Anthony were in our lives for 7+ years 😢 I will treat all of your fur babies like they are my own! I originally signed up on Rover as a way to make ends meet while putting myself through Nursing school; and although I have since accepted a job as a full-time nurse, I decided to continue Rover on the side. I also regularly volunteer at Memorial Medical Center as an Auxillain. Aside from these two commitments my schedule is pretty open. I unlisted myself from house sitting; however, I may be able to house sit for you in 3 to 4-day stretches, so if this is all you need please reach out to me. Unfortunately, I cannot house any pets in my home either overnight or during the day due to restrictions set forth by my apartment complex; however, I am free to pet sit overnight or during the day in your home (in 3 to 4-day stretches). I have found this is normally less jarring for your fur babies anyway. I am also free to dog/cat walk either on a regular basis or sporadically. The needs of your pet will be taken into account on an individual basis. If you have a question about my experience or ability to perform a specific aspect of your pets care, please just ask. *I am willing to negotiate rates*

16. Chantell B.
“Chantell, has been taking care of animals since she was 15, working in multiple pet shelters, and having her own pets. She is truly dedicated and experienced in providing love and care to furry friends.”

17. Tommie L.

“Tommie did an amazing job with Ringo while we were gone for the weekend. She took care of him beyond extra. I hope we can still book her for next time.”

18. Kyle K.

“Thank you!!”

19. Nayeli P.

“Nayeli is always so professional in and around my home and my dogs--she is knowledgeable and friendly! Even my shy kid warmed up to her almost immediately! My dogs love her! I haven't been able to walk my dogs due to some health issues, and she has been so valuable to our family. Thank you so much for your continued care!”

20. Jane J.
About: About this sitter: Hello! My name is Jane and I am 29 years old. I am a recent transplant to Las Cruces, coming from Portland, OR where I lived for seven years after graduating from Lewis & Clark College in 2013. I just acquired a part time job at Mountain View Co-op here in Las Cruces, and am looking to supplement my income by spending some time with new furry friends. I am a huge animal lover, and have been since I was a kid. Growing up in San Francisco an only child, I spent much of my youth caring for and interacting with my three dogs, four parrots, and some fish. I also cat sat for my neighbors. Throughout college in Portland, I was very active on Rover.com, and I worked at Virginia Woof Dog Daycare. I have years of experience dog walking and house sitting. I also love cats, birds, reptiles, horses, farm animals, you name it. When it comes to dogs specifically, I believe that I have a knack for becoming an anxious stranger dog's new best friend. I will treat your pet as I treat my fellow humans: with love and kindness. I currently have two lovely rabbits in my studio behind my dad's house. You may see pictures of Arni and Emmit on my profile. They are the loves of my life and they require lots of care and attention (more than I thought rabbits would need! But I am happy to provide.) For this reason, my overnight sitting may be limited, but I still highly encourage you to reach out so we can see if something will work. Daytime drop ins and walks should not be a problem, and I look forward to helping you care for your beloved furry (or aquatic, or scaly) family members.
