About: I've always loved and cared for a variety of animals. Even fostered for rescue helping over 13 pets, one year, find their forever homes and not having to stay in the shelter. I arrive at every job with my teen who has been joining me on every job since day ONE in 2021. Doing this has allowed us to be better suited to finding a comfort zone per pet. If they are more comfortable with her, I can sit back and not force your pet to deal with uncomfortable situations in your absence. If they are more rambunctious and need firmer control, I am able to step in and keep everyone safe. But the teen lives for claw tats and is not fearful of animals either. We want to know what makes your pet unique and happy. What comforts them and what to avoid. What is their favorite treat and their biggest fear. Are they ok when thunder happens or do we need to hold their paw? Your pets become our family while you are away and we are happy to send you obsessive amount of pictures, provided the app doesn't freeze up on us, and updates. We're not afraid of asking questions for clarity. We have not met anyone too complicated yet, and we are happy to work with adjusting schedules. Military, medical and work can all change on a dime, and we're here for it. We understand that we live in a spread out area and we can work something out that works for everyone. We generally respond quickly and are open to answering questions. We can't wait to work with you and your family, see you soon!! I am a single mom looking for ways to keep up and still be available for my children. As such I am also very available for your pets needs as well. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time. I do plan to open these services up when the possibility arises though.

About: I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember, ever since I was a little girl. From dogs to just about every farm animal you can think of lol, animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve potty trained puppies, bottle-fed newborns, and even given plenty of baths along the way. Caring for animals is something I truly love doing. Caring for pets fits perfectly into my schedule because I own my own business and have plenty of extra free time. It allows me to give each pet the love, attention, and care they deserve. 🐾✨ I have a fully fenced yard in both the front and back, giving plenty of safe space for playtime and fresh air. I also have two very energetic dogs of my own who love making new furry friends especially my weenie dog Lulu🤭, so your pet will have plenty of company. If needed, I can easily crate your fur baby to make sure they’re comfortable and secure💛

Use link: https://www.rover.com/sit/hannam01192 for $20 off your first booking with me! Feel free to send any special instructions for your pet—I’m committed to following them closely. I always prioritize keeping your pet’s routine as consistent and familiar as possible to minimize stress and help them feel comfortable to build trust with me, especially when adjusting to someone new.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of our lives my family is truly dog-loving through and through. I spent years rescuing bull breeds in New Mexico, and during my time in the military, I regularly dog-sat for fellow service members deploying overseas. Giving dogs a loving and stable home, even temporarily, has always been a passion of mine. My fiancé is just as devoted, she was a veterinary technician for over 10 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom, and she brings a wealth of care and experience to our home. We have a fully fenced yard where our playful dogos love meeting new friends. Whether your pup needs some extra love while you're away, or you're looking to maintain their training and routines, we've got it covered. We're happy to accommodate basic commands, structure, and lots of playtime. Your dog's comfort and happiness are our top priority and we treat every pup like part of the family. I work during the week but I am free on weekends. My fiance is free during the week and weekends. The holidays we are free. My fiancé is a former veterinary technician with extensive experience in both routine care and managing a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. From administering medications to addressing special requirements, she ensures each pet receives attentive and knowledgeable care.

About: I have owned dogs ranging from 5-120 lbs throughout my life. We have fostered shy dogs, energetic dogs, and everything in-between. Just last year we fostered 17 dogs, some for up to 6 months! I am familiar with administering time sensitive medication, and I am perfectly confident with specific instructions for care. I have a dog wash set-up that we utilize for our own furry friends, and I would be happy to extend that to yours as well! I spend intentional, one on one time with every dog that stays here, and I make sure they have plenty of play time, couch time, and playful interaction with other dogs (if they're social!). Your fur baby will feel like they're on a mini vacation. I work from home with a flexible schedule, and am able to give a ton of one on one time to each dog that is in my care. I love taking them on walks, too, so if that is something your pet needs, please let me know! I have a fully brick walled back yard, and 1 dog of my own. He is fixed and gets along very well with the ladies, but he likes to be the only boy. If my services are requested for a male dog, I am able to keep them separated with 100% confidence. If your dog gets along with other dogs, they will absolutely be able to run around in our yard. I have experience with intact males and females as well as spayed/neutered ones, and can and will keep dogs separate if needed/wanted. We have a dog bath, brushes, blankets, toys, and balls, but please feel free to bring your own! While I do have cats, they are kept separate from the dogs, so there is no risk of them interacting. I do not offer drop-in services for dogs.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I have experience in caring for senior pets and pets who need oral medications. I have a cat named Beans (for her cute little toe beans!). I treat all animals as if they were my own and I cannot wait to take care of yours! I am currently working part time at another job and working full time for Rover. I am available Sunday through Tuesday all day, and Wednesday through Saturday 6am-3pm. Safety is always the most important part of taking care of your pups/kitties needs! I am always sure to play, walk, and watch them until it is time to go inside for snuggles and a nap. I love getting to know each pet and catering to their likes/dislikes and personality!

About: Ever since I was 2 years old I have always been around and taken care of the animals. From 20 dogs to a couple horses, we had them all. I can’t wait to take care of your fur babies! I am currently in the process of looking for a job so I am completely free to watch your pets and take care of them all day. I like to make sure they’re sleeping area is nice and kept up, their toys out of the way but not too out of the way that they can’t access them. I like to make sure they’re near me a lot so they don’t get lonely.

I had an unexpected longer day at work and Alison was able to accommodate to my short notice request by walking and checking in on my baby boy Hershey. It felt great knowing that I could carry on with my responsibilities, meanwhile know that he was being taken care of. I will definitely be using her services again!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
