About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.

About: Hello! My name's Izze and I love being around animals. I am a very dependable, compassionate, and loving person. In the past I've mostly taken care of my dog Oliver, my hamster, and other small animals I've had. They've all passed now but I still think about them and love them dearly. Thank you for considering me to look after your animals. They will be in good hands. Im currently working remotely so I'll have open availability to keep your pups entertained and happy. I enjoy being outside and will make sure they always have a enriching environment to be in. I currently cannot care of your pets in my home but I am available to travel to your home. I will make sure your pups are getting enough exercise as well as interacting with them frequently.

About: I love all animals, and dogs have a special place in my heart. I only have a little experience dog sitting but so far so good haha! I love going on walks and I take my own dog allll the time. I have a ton of energy to match with certain dogs but I can also chill if that’s more their vibe. I just finished my first year at USC and am home for the summer! I’m so excited to finally have some downtime, but with that, I obviously want to save as much as possible. I’m currently unemployed, so that makes me available for whatever whenever! (which is exactly why this is the perfect gig) I will do whatever is asked of me properly to ensure routine and normalcy for your animal. I will understand when/if they are feeling nervous or uncomfortable and I will do what I can to make them feel safe :)

About: I have always grown up with pets in the house and as wonderful they are sometimes they can be a handful and that’s why I’m here to help! For the time being I am available from 11am-7pm on the weekdays and 12pm-7pm on the weekends! Though I am very flexible and if needed I may be able to work outside those times! I have one friendly cat but he mostly minds his own business, and I would spoil your animals with all of my affection and multiple family members that do the same!

About: I have experience in taking care of dogs and puppies. I have had many experiences in walking dogs. I love to play fetch with dogs and run with them. I am a stay at home mom. I am flexible, and willing to work around my clients schedule. Pet owners can count on me to take great care of their pets, and I get to hang out with some adorable animals, even if its just for a little while. I have two sweet dogs and they have a backyard to play in. They have a doggy door. At night one of my dogs sleeps in a kennel. In my experience with other people's pets. I would go and check on them every 3-4 hours to take them out to go potty and feed them. It is important for me to build trust with my clients. I strive to ensure that my clients can be away confidently and be able to enjoy themselves knowing that their fur baby is being cared for. My clients can rest easy knowing that their pets will never be neglected while under my watch as I take great pride in providing attentive and compassionate care.

Margie was amazing with our dog. She was attentive to all his needs, as well as ours. She even made homemade doggie treats. Her correspondence (and photos) while we were out of the country is something we will always be thankful for. Thanks to Margie for taking care of our dog even when he wasn’t feeling well.

About: With previous volunteer and dog boarding experience, I have substantial hands-on experience in pet care, including training, playgroups, and medication administration across both young and senior stages. I am excited to offer dedicated and compassionate care for your pets, treating them with the same love and attention I give my own. PLEASE NOTE: My young daughter, who is a year and a half old, often accompanies me on bookings. She’s gentle and used to being around animals. Other than being a stay-at-home mom, I’m not currently working elsewhere, so my availability is very flexible. I’m able to provide attentive, 24/7 care for your pet in a loving, home-like environment. I care for your pets just like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. My own dogs are well-behaved and friendly—they’re great at adjusting to the needs of each guest, whether that means giving space or joining in for some fun playtime. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority.

Ann has been an absolute lifesaver for us! She is incredibly kind, super responsive, and always reliable—everything you could hope for in a dog walker. She’s also been very flexible with scheduling, which has made a huge difference for us. Most importantly, my dog Betty absolutely loves her. Betty gets so excited on the days Ann comes to walk her, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such caring and capable hands. Ann walks her three times a week, and I’ve noticed such a positive impact on Betty’s happiness and routine. I can’t recommend Ann enough!

About: Hello!:) My name is Cabrielle and I am absolutely infatuated with dogs! I am extremely knowledgeable as I use to work at a doggie daycare as a manager for 3 years and have taken care of my border collie black lab for 12 years until his passing. I love to give dog massages and am quite the cuddler when it comes to the pupparoos ! I think dogs are one of the biggest blessings that we have in life . 💜 I am a stay at home mama of a sweet 3 year old who loves dogs just as much as I do ! I know how to give meds to dogs as well as making sure they are exercised to their hearts content . I cannot wait to meet your sweet pups! I currently take care of my daughter at home so the only times I am away is if we are going to the park or the rec center .We both love to hike and go to dog parks if that’s something your dog digs! We dig it too :) I have a fenced backyard and a quiet neighborhood with tons of dog parks around so your dog will always have something to do!! :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 1,450 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Swartz Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Swartz Corner. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Swartz Corner.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Swartz Corner. On Rover:

  • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
