About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.

Margie was amazing with our dog. She was attentive to all his needs, as well as ours. She even made homemade doggie treats. Her correspondence (and photos) while we were out of the country is something we will always be thankful for. Thanks to Margie for taking care of our dog even when he wasn’t feeling well.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. Like my daughter (who loves to help with Rover) I had an inexplicable connection with all animals from a young age. I've always known working with animals in some capacity was my life's calling. I started with Rover years ago and quickly realized I had found the thing I loved and could make a living doing. It is my passion! I've never met a dog I didn't get along with and hope to add your dog(s) to my list of new best friends. 😊 Taking care of animals is my daily and weekly routine. Rarely do scheduling conflicts arise and my calendar is updated frequently to prevent that. This is my full time job. All I ask is for any specific instructions when leaving them in my care or having me come to your home and I follow them to the letter. Whatever your pet's routine is, that's what it will be with me.

About: I have experience in taking care of dogs and puppies. I have had many experiences in walking dogs. I love to play fetch with dogs and run with them. I am a stay at home mom. I am flexible, and willing to work around my clients schedule. Pet owners can count on me to take great care of their pets, and I get to hang out with some adorable animals, even if its just for a little while. I have two sweet dogs and they have a backyard to play in. They have a doggy door. At night one of my dogs sleeps in a kennel. In my experience with other people's pets. I would go and check on them every 3-4 hours to take them out to go potty and feed them. It is important for me to build trust with my clients. I strive to ensure that my clients can be away confidently and be able to enjoy themselves knowing that their fur baby is being cared for. My clients can rest easy knowing that their pets will never be neglected while under my watch as I take great pride in providing attentive and compassionate care.

About: Like many animal lovers, I raised cats and dogs the majority of my life. Even raised 9 pups from my own dog! I’d like to help take care of your pets with you. My previous work had me travel for 3 years so I understand how challenging it can be to have someone watch your pets. You wonder if they’ll be as nice, gentle, caring, and active as you are with them. (Or if your pet will pick them over you for being away so long!) I will be as, if not more, attentive to your pets while you are away. Like the title says - I’m a realtor! My schedule is open and most of my work can be done through my phone or laptop. I do go to the gym and can adjust my schedule to be morning or evening depending on your needs. Early start for my dogs! 5am walks to start their day along with clean bowls before every feeding! I use a filtered water system for them, but that’s also cleaned weekly. If your pets are like mine then all that hair is a bit messy. So, brushing is a must! They do like to get on the couch so vacuuming is a must too! No kennel for them. Just their own cots. As for bathing and grooming - as needed.

About: I have owned pets since I was young and I was the one to take care of them, I also had neighbors that always had pets and I would go over and feed them everyday while they were gone. I've plenty of experience taking care of pets and as some people say, I have a way with animals. I don't have another job at the moment, so I can be there whenever I am sitting your pets! You are my number one priority! I will take your pets for walks or play with them, keep them entertained, feed them when they need to be fed and make sure they take naps. You tell me what I need to do, or what needs done and I'll do it, I'm very good at following orders.

About: I was always the one growing up that took on the caretaker role when it comes to animals. Making sure all animals are fed and have clean water and bowls. My favorite part of caring for pets is walks and playing with them. When my dog had babies I was there the entire time making sure mama was doing well, giving attention and making sure i could give support when needed. I grew up with multiple dogs at once and I understand it takes time and effort to care for them. I am available after 2pm monday through Fridays and on weekends I am free all day. I am looking for some companionship with cute dogs as I don't own a dog currently. I actually had an ankle injury in the beginning of this year and I am recovering well, just need extra cash to pay for some medical bills. I would love to spend my other free time spending it with your fur babies. I am new to rover app. Gaining your animals trust is very important to me. I will always be watching your animal when taken outside even if your yard is gated.

About: With previous volunteer and dog boarding experience, I have substantial hands-on experience in pet care, including training, playgroups, and medication administration across both young and senior stages. I am excited to offer dedicated and compassionate care for your pets, treating them with the same love and attention I give my own. I care for your pets just like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and more. At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. I can also crate your dog if requested or follow any specific routines you have for them. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here because we believe pets are family too! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos during their stay. I’m a stay-at-home mom with two young boys who are now older and very comfortable around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will get lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We live a pretty home-based lifestyle and don’t travel often, so I’m able to provide a consistent and reliable environment for the dogs in my care. About: Hi! I’m Hazel, a senior in high school preparing to head to college. My mom is Patricia and she and I and family team to provide pet services, but I am the main person. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals, including ducks, chicks, kittens, goats, pigs, and of course dogs. Right now, I have two dogs, Comanche and Chalko, who I’ve raised since they were puppies, as well as a kitten I helped bottle-feed after it was found at a very young age. Taking care of them has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand each animal’s unique personality and needs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs a fun, energetic walk, lots of attention and playtime, or just someone to make them feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’m here to help. You can trust that your pet will be in caring, reliable hands with me! I am at work from 8-4 generally, but have flexibility, and available outside of those hours. My daughters have other availability during the day around class schedules. I am home and available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and most holidays. I am home all day for full weeks during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break. I am home during summer months. I take dogs who are kennel trained and do not allow pets on furniture. I match my care to your loved companion's individual needs. Some dogs love being outside and running around, some love to lay on a dog bed by the fire. I understand some pets are older and need a gentle approach and others are high energy and need lots of movement and interaction. I take careful care that your pet is secured and not able to leave the property. I have a huge fenced yard and a field with ample space which allows your pet to in pet heaven! Its a fun time!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
