About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.

About: I have experience with animals my whole life and even more after doing rover for 2 years now. I treat all animals as if they are my own! I work full time away from home but my bf Riley works from home. I would be the primary caretaker Wednesdays- Saturdays but other days it would be my bf watching the dogs at home until I get home. We are an active family and would love to take your fur babies on adventures with us if that's something you'd like! NOTE: Any daycare request that is over 9 hours will be an extra $5 Pick ups or drop offs after 9PM will be an extra $5 *House sitting price will vary depending on the situation/distance *We only watch pups together that we know will get along and usually no more than a couple at a time. We have a fully fenced yard and a dog door so you're pup could have access to outside all day. We have space for crates if you need your dog to sleep in a crate at night, otherwise they are free to sleep wherever they are comfortable! My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat so she has free roam therefore all dogs must be respectful of cats. She does like to play but not roughly chased. I will take lots of photos of your pup during their stay as well!

I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. They can often really use a run, walk, or visit to the dog park, and getting outside is something I enjoy doing with dogs. As a sitter, I see and interpret subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch". A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will reach out if they stop drinking water or eating when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use a gate to block access to stairs, allowing them to come upstairs when I am going upstairs.
