“Outstanding care, a True Dog whisperer. Sequoia Humane Society hired Mark to care for Browner an d Odie over the Thanksgiving holiday - Two large dogs! Both are known to struggle with other dogs, including each other. I was honestly preparing for this to simply be a safe, calm stay...what we got was something truly incredible. From the very beginning, Mark asked all the right questions about behavior, needs, routines and safety. It was clear he understood these were not "easy" dogs and approach their care with thoughtfulness, patience and professionalism. I encouraged him to try socializing them only if he felt right about an opportunity. To our complete surprise, Brownie and Odie became best friends almost immediately in his care. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and breeds for as long as I can remember. My experience ranges from training puppies to caring for elderly dogs to providing medication and much much more. The happiest moments of my life have been with my dogs and the animals I look after. I can’t wait to meet and care for yours! I’m a remote worker with a very flexible schedule who lives across the street from a dog beach, which allows me to give your pet the attention they deserve. The happiness of your pet (and your ease of mind) is my top priority! I have a large fully fenced yard that will keep your dog happy and exercised! My home also has two friendly dogs that are ready to meet and play with your pet. I’m happy to leave my dogs at home to do in-house visits for pets that are less social :)

About: Offering boarding for small farm animal(s)/dogs in Humboldt , Carlotta area. Fenced in pasture plus small undercover area. Must provide your own food, I can feed/provide fresh water. Boarding price depends on animal(s)/services needed. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs and a couple cows on our property, if you have a dog, it must be okay being around these animals and a small child. Please reach out with any questions. We work all day on our permaculture farm and love having an extra dog or two around. Great place for a dog to enjoy running around in nature, a retreat for pets. I have a fenced in pasture available with covered area, or am happy to have your dog free roaming around the farm with a other pets.

Alejandra was so sweet & great with our French bulldog. She was thoughtful with her prep to ensure we & our pup had everything he needed for a comfortable stay. She sent us updates & pictures throughout our dogs stay, communicated consistently, & was so awesome with our dog which was obvious in how he acted around her. The videos she sent made it clear he felt comfortable with her quickly. She learned how to adapt to our dogs needs quickly & clearly understood our dog well with how she talked about him & took care of him. Would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter or person to care for their fur baby overnight.
Michael was great to work with. Communication was easy and consistent throughout the stay, and I always felt informed about how my dogs were doing. My dogs seemed very comfortable with him and settled in quickly. He also has a nice backyard space where they could safely relax and play. I would happily book with Michael again and recommend him to other pet owners.
I can't recommend Jacquelyn enough! My senior pup was injured just prior to her stay and had to be given medication and be on restricted movement. Jacquelyn asked questions as needed and provided daily updates. The home itself is really calming, which I'm sure Gertie appreciated. Overall great experience.
Lianna was very sweet and attentive! My normal dog sitter fell through and Lianna came to the rescue on short notice. I was anxious to leave my dog for a longer period of time, but Lianna was very reassuring. She is very communicative- I received photos and updates almost daily. My dog seemed to have enjoyed her stay, and she got lots of walks and play time with her two dogs. It is very clear Lianna loves working with dogs. Would definitely rebook!
