We wanted someone to come walk and feed Rascal so we could spend a full day exploring downtown DC and the surrounding area. Ashley covered for us every day. Rascal is not used to spending long periods of time alone so Ashley was a blessing. She fed him and took him on a long walk every visit. We felt so good to know Rascal was being cared for by Ashley. She was also flexible with our schedule. We will call on her again if we return to the DC area which is very likely next year. Our daughter has a job offer in DC next year and we will likely visit and stay in this same area.”

About: My love for animals began as a child. I was raised in a house with a plethora of pets (cats, dogs, birds, fish) and the love continued to grow while working at my grandparent's boarding kennel as a teenager. I currently work shift work and am flexible on my off days. Whether it's a short term notice for a quick walk or advanced notice, I would love to be able to accommodate your pet's needs. I live within access to numerous walking trails and am avid staying active and being outdoors. I do not currently own any pets and will maintain a safe and trustworthy environment providing attentive care for your pet.

About: I am a stay at home mom to 2 girls, ages 4 and 5 and we recently moved to the area! My husband is in the Navy. We live in a townhouse in North Beach, MD. I have a cat that can be timid with new animals, and tends to hide until he feels more comfortable. I would love to help out with your furry family members! I hate when I have to be away from mine so I would give them tons of love so they feel comfortable and at home while you are away. I am available for all needs except for pet sitting in your home, since I have kiddos that need me at my home. Please let me know if I can help you out in any way! I will have a lot more independent time this fall once they start school. We do not have a fenced in yard but I would be happy to do as many walks as needed for your pup! About: I've helped raise puppies. I've had a dog of my own my whole life. Friends leave their pups with me while they go away, or when they need help potty or crate training. I cannot currently watch pets in my home but I can care for your pet in the comfort of your home. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate taking care of your pet(s) as needed around my own day to day responsibilities. I will take care of your pet as you regularly do. Are they crated while you're away? They'll be crated if I'm not there. Or do they only feel safe in certain rooms or need a "safety toy"? I'm make sure they have what they need to be as calm and happy as can be while you're away.

Able to handle a large pack and individual needs I have flexible hours and can be there for all your pets needs on a case by case basis. I have a very structured routine. Safety is key, walking the property daily to ensure no escape routes and doing door/window checks to keep everyone safe. Keeping their routine as close to normal as possible is key to happy pets.

I take great pride in that, as I know how exhausting and emotional it is to find someone who is trustworthy and dependable! Currently, I am helping out friends mid day as their work schedules are long. If you have found yourself in the same position, let me know. My late mornings and afternoons are free and I would love to help out! I was just laid off from my job of 5 years, so currently I have a fully open schedule. Let me know what you need and we can work something out! We live on a one acre lot with a pool that has a hard safety cover! We keep it closed unless we are swimming. If that worries you, please know my dog can’t swim so I take pool safety very seriously! With that said, they will have access to all the sunbathing and squirrel chasing that they could ever want. We are outside a lot!

About: I have had pets, dogs and cats both, my whole life. I have cared for my own pets since I was 13 and I currently have two loving dogs that stay with me in my home. I love all animals. I hope to be able to help families that need pet care because it will allow the pets to get the most out of their day even when the owners can’t be home. If your pet is friendly and up to date on shots and you would like in home pet care, but your pet needs socialization with other pets, I could bring my dog(s) to play with your pet to help with their socialization. It would give all the pets some socialization. I do ask that all animals be up to date on shots with records available to ensure everyone’s safety.
