About: I’ve been working with animals professionally since I was 19 — I’m now 26. Over the years, I’ve worked as a vet assistant, a professional groomer, and at a pet store, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. These days, my main focus is boarding, walking, and house sitting — and it’s something I genuinely love doing. What sets my care apart is the family-style experience I offer. When your dog stays with me, they aren’t just being watched — they’re becoming part of our daily life. It’s usually me, my young son, and my partner Brian. We go on nature walks, play outside, and include your dog in everything like they’re part of the crew. This isn’t just pet sitting — it’s a second home. I’ve found that so many dogs (and their humans) are looking for that feeling of safety, love, and belonging — even if they haven’t put it into words yet. That’s exactly what I try to create here. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — including shy rescues, high-energy pups, and seniors. I’m trained in animal behavior, have my own vehicle, and can adapt to your dog’s specific needs and temperament. 🚗 Please note: For boarding in my home, dogs must be comfortable around kids and okay with cats, since we do have both. I want everyone (human and animal) to feel safe and relaxed. Whether your pup needs playtime, quiet time, cuddles, or space, I always meet them where they are — with patience, love, and respect. I work from home part time, so your fur baby will fit in perfectly with my schedule. I am looking for something to do that will occupy more of my time, and what better way than to spend it with a new furry friend to love?! I have a fenced yard and a friendly cat who is more like a dog. I can keep him separate if ever needed. My house is a little over 1,300 sq ft so there’s plenty of space. If you need your pet to be crated I am comfortable with that. As well as if any medication is needed to be given or frequent walks. I will always respect the home of the pet and owner. Just point me where I need to go with some guidance regarding you fue baby’s routine, you are in great hands!

Barbara was awesome! Unfortunately I booked with a different sitter who subsequently stated she could not watch my dog (Bailey) less than 24 hours after I dropped her off. The sitter stated Bailey was barking frantically and subsequently cancelled shortly before I was supposed to board my international flight with my family early the following morning. For Bailey to be barking frantically is unlike Bailey. Rover subsequently reached out to several sitters on my behalf while I was on my flight and described Bailey as having “separation anxiety” because of what the other sitter stated and “needing plenty of attention and play time”. Unlike to how Bailey was described, Bailey doesn’t bark much and has a calm temperament. My whole flight my family and I were wondering what would happen with Bailey in reference to how she was being described and if she’d be in good hands. Barbara fortunately volunteered for the job and her and I texted briefly while still on my flight because she wanted to know more about Bailey. I advised her that the manner in which the other sitter was describing Bailey was out of character. Barbara subsequently volunteered to pickup Bailey from the other sitter. Once Barbara was with Bailey she sent me a picture and reassured me Bailey was in good hands. Barbara would routinely send me pictures on updates of Bailey throughout the days we were gone. Additionally, Barbara gave Bailey her medicine twice daily for her ear infection. Barbara was great and I would recommend her services.
So grateful for Tamara (and Maggie 🐾) giving Wiggles such a warm welcome, loving home, super fun runs around the glorious backyard, love and pets that Wiggles craves. Wiggles is a sweet but nervous girl, and I’m grateful to have a loving home nearby for when we have to go out of town without her. Tamara was incredibly responsive and thoughtful in how to make sure Wiggles had everything she needed for a wonderful week. 💖
Mary watched my 2 retrievers for 5 days and nights in her home. They had met at a meet n greet. When we arrived to drop them off, they were so happy to see her. She had plenty of dog toys in addition to those we brought. She took them for walks and had a nice big yard for them to ride around in. Mary updated me with pics and notes daily. When I picked the pups up, they were happy and healthy. We will definitely seek her out for future dog-sitting needs.
Coren was great with Piper. He asked lots of questions during the meet and greet to make sure he understood Piper's needs. When I picked up Piper from her stay, she seemed in great spirits. I feel like Coren treated Piper like his own. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.
I can’t say enough about Sarai. She’s easily the best sitter I’ve ever had. I had a nightmare sitter I found here on rover and I was worried leaving my babies with another sitter using this service but Sarai reassured me and she delivered. She always gave me updates and my babies looked really happy and calm with her. I’m sure they’ll miss her.
