About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years from family pets, neighbors dogs, dogs of friends, and living with my roommates dog for almost 3 years. I have always been hands-on and very engaging with all dogs I meet. I have learned many important skills involved in puppy training, differing pet routines and needs, positive reinforcement, and how to keep each and every dog comfortable and happy. I prioritize consistent care and reliability, so you can feel confident that your dog is in good hands. I currently have an internship with a very flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time focused towards availability and care for your pets. If needed I will pursue another part-time job to provide me with a livable income, but I will continue to communicate changes in my schedule availability. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in my client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and fun environment. I learn each pet’s routine include mealtimes, medications, walks, and any other needs the dog may need. I make sure each puppy is given the proper attention they need with positive interactions, any needed space, and I am very adaptable to each dog’s personality. I also prioritize cleanliness in every client’s home and use proper communication with clients to satisfy their needs along with their pets’ needs.

About: I've taken care of many dogs ever since I was a young girl. All my family, friends and Neighbors would always ask me to take their dogs for a walk and to feed them and even give them baths. I can also give medication if needed and tend to any care your fur baby needs. I currently work a full-time job from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. don't worry though, I will have more than enough time to attend to your fur babies. I will still have time to take them for walks or do check-ins if they need to be fed or taken out to go to the bathroom. I can also do boarding in my home or in your home on the weekends. Friday through Sunday. I have a almost 6 year old female boxer that gets along with all dogs and all sizes and loves to play. She is allowed on all the furniture and so will your fur babies. They will be just as loved as mine. More then enough toys to play with. I don't have a fenced in yard because my girl listens very well. Don't worry, I will keep your babies safe by keeping them on a leash when outside.

About: I’ve dog sat since I was 14 years old! Have 2 pups of my own and experience with all aged dogs. Can’t wait to meet yours! I’m happy to host your pup as long as they get along with other dogs! My dog loves to have new friends around! I have experience with both fenced and un fenced yards as well as crating pups.

About: I have taken care of my animals 5 years and my family animals since a kid. My own dog has epilepsy so I know what to look for and what to do in that situation. I know how to give medication. I currently work at the Zipline in Stanton so it’s not a set schedule. With that I take care of them before I leave or really I take care of them first in the morning. I have two very loving dogs who love to play outside with others. My backyard is big and fenced in. And I have baby gates to keep them out of things they shouldn’t have.

“Took great care of my baby!”

About: I have a vast experience with animal, very knowledgeable. I have worked with, bred, trained and owned a vast array of animals. Everything from dogs, to common cats, exotics both forgein and domestic mammals, reptiles, birds and fish. I have trained 5 service dogs, 6 emotional support animals. I am registered with 3 kennel clubs as a responsible animal breeder and care giver.. I also have a local veterinary clinic on call just incase their services are needed. As of right now I am currently in school for a dual major and inbetween jobs So I have ample time to take care of your pet I get the low down from the owner follow all instructions given and do the best I can to take care of the animal as requested

About: I have helped raise two dogs growing up, one cocker spaniel and one golden retriever. I have also somewhat raised cats. Unfortunately all the cats my family has gotten has been outside cats which always made me disappointed. I have pet sat before for both a cat and a medium dog. I love taking care of animals and becoming buddies with pets. Big dogs do slightly intimidate me so I would like to stick to smaller dogs. I am working part time in Hermann and I will have a good amount of time open now that school is over. I am in the Washington/union area but I can drive pretty much anywhere within 25 miles. I plan on moving to Columbia in the fall but I will be pet sitting all this summer to get some more money with my other job. I know that most pets are feisty but I am patient and caring for animals especially since this world can be cruel to them. I will care for your pets based on all the information you give me and if I have any questions I will ask. I also have many friends with animal experience who can help me out if needed. I won’t mistreat your home and will clean up after myself as well as keep it cleaned (I sometimes get a kick out of cleaning). I can keep your home and pets safe.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. Had many of them since they were born. I have been around dogs and cats for probably around 15 years of my life. I am very experienced with animals and love them all. I would be honored if you choose me to care for your four-legged best friend! Right now I am available almost every day to care for your four-legged friends. I am a volleyball coach, so evenings are usually no good for me but right now I am available all day on days Monday through Fridays in the mornings! Also some weekends if I’m available! I live in a house with my family and we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I would also love to take your animals on walks or out to explore nature. I would love and care for them the whole time they are in my care.

About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was young. I’ve been working with dogs for 7 years now. I work at a dog boarding place and also walk dogs or do cat sits. Have a dog of my own. I recently lost my best friend the best dog I’ve ever had in January so it’s been very hard.I have a frenchie she is my world. I will treat and love your pet like they are my family. I work full time but I am willing to help as many families out there that I can. I spend a lot of my time home on the weekends with my kiddos. I have a fenced in yard. I do own my house. I have 1 dog and two children 12 n 11 they love dogs. Plenty of room.

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress! I would do my best to uphold any schedule you already have in place (ie feeding, walks, medicine, bedtime).

“We can’t recommend Leigh enough! Our dogs and cats absolutely loved her. She has a natural talent for connecting to animals and make them feel safe and loved. Extremely kind and reliable. It’s such a relief to know our pets are in such caring hands. Wholeheartedly recommend her and already have her booked for the future!”

About: I have taken care of my own animals my whole life and will always take time out of my day to give them those extra belly rubs! I am currently on summer break so I have free time to love on your pets daily! Including walks, brushing, and snuggles all day every day! I love to take long walks especially with my dogs. I always make sure that their water bowls are full and their bellies are fed.

“We’ve used Leslie countless times for drop in’s for our three cats. One of our cats is quite spicy, and Leslie came in with such a great attitude even after a lot of hissing and scratching the first visit. He’s since warmed up to her so well! We will continue to use her for all of our out of town ventures!”

My work schedule can be flexible so I can adjust it to fit most pet needs so you can plan that vacation free from worry. I have a fenced in area and a designated space in my house I call the “pet room” . My house resembles someone who has a 2 yr old but instead of kid toys and beds it’s dog and cat toys.

I am available for drop in or pet walking any evening after I get off of work and anytime on weekends. Love to help full your needs. “Kailey was so sweet and so responsive. She took great care of my pup and even took her on a long walk- such a blessing for my pup’s sanity! ?Thanks Kailey- we look forward to seeing you again!”

About: I grew up with pets, my family was very hands on from dogs to small exotic pets, taking care of them was one of my chores. I helped train a few of our dogs we had growing up and found that it was quite easy. I don’t do full training, I don’t have any certification, but I can help teach basics like leash walking, sit and shake, and recall/name learning for puppies. I work full time between two jobs. I work as a PA for a dentist office in Union, MO, and in a Holistic office at the front desk in Washington, MO. My hours for working are typically pretty set at Mon-Thurs., 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.. I would check the dog/s before work, as soon as I get off work on my way home, and then again in the evening/night before bed. So let out times would be 8-9:30 a.m., 4-6 p.m., and 9-10:30 p.m.. My pets are my first priority on a daily basis, and yours would be too. First thing I do when I wake up is feed all my animals and let the dog outside. I topically work from 9:30 to 3-4 Mon-Thurs., and once I get home I let the dog out and check on all the animals again, if it’s not too hot or bad weather I will take the dog on a walk at the state park. Then in the evening I will let the dog out a few more times and typically that is the last thing I do before locking the door for the night. I would do the same with your dog/s with checking on them at least three times a day for a couple hours each time.

Amanda B.
“For as long as I have known her, she has always had a deep sense of compassion for her pets. Though most per owners spoil their loved ones like crazy, she has always created a balance. Even I have to admit I give my pets a bit more treats than normal, but she takes into consideration of their health and what is best for them. However, it's not like she doesn't give them extra love and praises during special events or their birthdays. She is a king, smart and hard working individual and I'm proud to have her as an amazing colleague and dear friend.”

Kirsten P.
“Kirsten watched my dog Cowboy at my house while I was away for a business trip. She did such a great job keeping me updated with pictures and videos of Cowboy playing and sleeping. Cowboy even missed her so much when I got back that he pouted around the house for 2 days. She truly is great and I will 100% be using her in the future!”
