I am able and willing to deliver whatever type of care you need to provide peace of mind for you, your family, and your fur babies.
“Rachel took fantastic care of our girls this weekend! They are sweethearts, but can be stinkers sometimes. She took extra time making sure that they ate, drank, and went potty, during each visit. It was such a relief that she took care of them like they were her own. We look forward to working with Rachel again!”

About: I've been around animals all my life. My friends and family have relied on my reliablility, responsiblity and professionalism to take care of their furry family members. I'm a reliable and caring dog sitter who treats every pet like my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing company, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I pay close attention to each dog's routine, personality, and needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions. You can count on regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know your pup is in good hands. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your dog a comfortable, fun experience every time. I have worked at No Leash Needed as well as Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital doing everything from dog boarding, doggy daycare, to basic grooming and bathing. I have always have had a passion for being around animals and know they are more than just a pet, they are family. A typical day dog sitting starts with feeding and letting the dog outside for a bathroom break. After that, there's playtime, walks, and making sure the dog stays active and happy. Throughout the day, I monitor their behavior, provide fresh water, and give attention or comfort as needed. In the evening, I feed them again, take them out one last time, and help them settle down for the night. About: I've grown up with animals my entire life. I look at my own, like my kids. I want to provide peace while you're away, knowing your animal(s) is/are being cared for properly. I reside in Labadie and understand the frustration that can come with finding an honest, reliable and trustworthy person to care for our fur babies. We don’t have as many resources available as the county. I can help fill that void. A walk, a little play time or feeding? Let me know your needs! I'd love to help! I work full time as a financial economic crime analyst for a large agricultural bank. I work from home 2 of the 5 days and the other 3 I am in Chesterfield working from the office. I work 7-4 but typically leave work around two and have flexibility should our hours not align 100%. Communication is key, let me know your needs. I am able to provide services at your personal residence (no night stays) or at my home if dog/cat friendly, and will follow/complete all requests and needs.
“Amanda was amazing! She did drop by visits for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy and the other is sometimes finicky with anyone who isn’t me. She was very patient with both of them and sent status updates and pictures which had the perfect amount of detail to let me know how they were doing while on vacation. She was also very responsive to messages and I never felt like I was waiting on her reply. She was well informed on taking care of animals and shows a great passion for animals as well! On top of that she went above and beyond what I needed her to do and also washed their water fountain and food bowls which I never even mentioned because I didn’t need her to do that! All in all, my cats are happy and healthy and she saved me from a couple extra chores I would’ve had to do upon returning home!”

About: I have dog sit for my aunt for a couple of years now and she says I do an amazing job and will recommend to others. I work Monday through Saturday but I have time I. The evening and in the morning to make sure they are taken care of. I know my schedule is a little Chaotic. I will do what is needed for that animal in that clients home. I will make sure they stay clean and safe and have plenty of playtime and that they trust me
“Professional. Caring . Loves Animals . Was so good to Pinkie Ponker and Walter Waffles. Laure gives you a feeling of comfort . trust . confidence. The Kit Kats adored her. Thank you. The Ward clan.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats and for a period of my childhood even lived on a horse ranch! I have a medical background and am a personable and trustworthy person to care for your pet. I am a full time nurse so I only work three days a week, however I don’t have a regular schedule. Regardless, I have four days out of the week free and would love to fill that time caring for and loving your pet. I am trustworthy and can be relied on to care for your pet with safety in mind first, I will be consistent with your house rules for your pet and will treat them as my own.

“Leigh dropped in and made sure everyone had food, water, and attention. It is an unusual group: 4 pigs, 4 geese, 6 ducks, chickens and roosters. She made sure all of them were happy. Sent pictures or video every drop in.”

About: I have helped raise two dogs growing up, one cocker spaniel and one golden retriever. I have also somewhat raised outdoor cats. I’ve pet sat for over 5 cats and 3 dogs. I love taking care of animals and becoming buddies with them. Big dogs do slightly intimidate me so I would like to stick to small to medium dogs. My boyfriend and I are also taking care of his brothers cat at the moment so that gives me some entail on how to care for a cat. I live in Columbia but for the summer I am spending my days in Union. I am from Hermann and work there as well so I am willing to drive to take care of your furry friends. I work from 9am to 3/4pm (depending on the work load I could get done earlier) and I don’t have set days I work but I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I know some animals can be difficult but I have patience to take care of them. Kindness and compassion are two things that animals need from us and I give them all of it. I will care for your pets based on all the information you give me and if I have any questions I will ask. I also have many friends with animal experience who can help me out if needed. I won’t mistreat your home and will clean up after myself as well as keep it cleaned. I can keep your home and pets safe.
“Kiersten did an amazing job! She was patient with and understanding of my puppy who experiences separation anxiety. Her overall knowledge of dogs shows in her commitment “to make them happy and comfortable when she is around.” Kiersten is a good choice!”

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Villa Ridge stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
