About: I once took care of five cats at the same time in an unfinished home. If that isn't enough for you, I also cared for my Grandfather's cat for two weeks, with said cat being afraid of me and its new environment. By making my presence known consistently but not forcefully, I managed to win her over. What sets me apart is my understanding of one key fact. You can't make a cat love you in the same way you would for a dog. Cats decide to enjoy your company if you've earned that privilege. Understanding how cats behave is what let me conquer the stories mentioned above. If a cat wants attention, I give it to them. If I see that they're getting bored, I play with them. If they want to be left alone, I leave them alone (unless they're obviously scheming to do something they shouldn't).

“Amanda was amazing! She did drop by visits for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy and the other is sometimes finicky with anyone who isn’t me. She was very patient with both of them and sent status updates and pictures which had the perfect amount of detail to let me know how they were doing while on vacation. She was also very responsive to messages and I never felt like I was waiting on her reply. She was well informed on taking care of animals and shows a great passion for animals as well! On top of that she went above and beyond what I needed her to do and also washed their water fountain and food bowls which I never even mentioned because I didn’t need her to do that! All in all, my cats are happy and healthy and she saved me from a couple extra chores I would’ve had to do upon returning home!”

With a degree in Animal Science and extensive hands-on experience, I understand that safety is the top priority for every pet owner. When your pet stays with us, they will not only be safe but will also have a fun and enriching experience. In addition to boarding, we offer professional Training and Grooming services tailored to each dog's needs. My husband works nights and is home during the day to provide expert care and supervision for your pets. As dedicated owners of show dogs, we take pet care seriously and strive to maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our services. Our property features two fully fenced yards for play and exercise. The first is a secure 6-foot chain link and privacy-fenced potty yard, measuring approximately 20 ft x 60 ft. The second is a spacious, fully fenced double lot with rolling hills and lush grass, providing the perfect environment for your pet to run, play, and explore. *Dogs in our care must be crate trained during down time & at night. When we are not at Dog Shows or Training we are at home with our dogs. My husband works nights which means your pets will be left alone minimally. We have 2 fully fenced in yards. A smaller yard with 6ft privacy fence and a large play yard with 4ft roller panels. We do offer medical boarding on a case by case basis at an additional rate.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was young. When I got older and moved out on my own, I ended up getting cats too. I currently have 2 cats that live with me, one was adopted and one was a stray kitten that I found in a thunderstorm. I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital doing tasks like feeding animals, administering medication, cleaning up after them, bathing them, etc. I have also worked at a couple of dog boarding shops. So, I can handle a lot of animals at once. I’m quick on my feet, especially when animals are getting too rough with one another. This happened a lot at the doggy daycares I worked at. I have been pet sitting independently for about 5 years, and I prefer it to being in a shop. I can have a closer relationship with the pets I watch this way. I live on about 7 acres of property. The yard is not fenced, but I can take pups out on a leash. I do have 2 cats with me full-time but they’re very friendly. About: Lifelong animal lover!! I grew up with dogs and have a lot of experience caring for animals. I currently have 4 of my own fur babies and fostered dogs for about 10 years. One of my pups is foster fail who is deaf and super smart; I have trained him with sign language. I will love your fur baby as my own and have plenty of experience with all shapes and sizes of breeds. Being a foster Mom comes with extra patience and care because many dogs come in broken down and my job is to rebuild them on how to be a dog and love them unconditionally. We have a large fenced in back yard with a doggy door for them to run in and out freely. Your pet will be treated as family with extra care while you are away. I currently work from home and my kids are older and don’t need me to run them around anymore. My schedule is flexible and am pretty much available at all time. I do go for walks around the neighborhood which I would love to bring your pup along. Fully fenced yard and plenty of room to play. About: I haven't had my own pets in a long time, but I've cared for over a dozen pets that I treated like my own despite belonging to others. I've introduced myself to and won over plenty of pets with my calm and collected approach. The majority of my pet care experience has been through visiting the homes of family friends to give their dogs bathroom breaks and be sure they have some company for a while as their owners are at work or on vacation. On multiple occasions, I've also stayed overnight for multiple days at a time. Because of this, I'm well equipped to meet your pets smoothly and cohabitate with them. I currently work remotely and have plans to attend college online, so I'll have more than enough time to visit at the very least. I can absolutely stay over, as I can simply work wherever I have my laptop if need be. Your pets will always be the first priority, of course. I do not have pets of my own at the moment, but I always treat other people's pets as if they were my own and with respect. If they want attention, they get it. If they want to be left alone, they will be left alone (within reason). Any instructions regarding feeding and medicine will be followed strictly.

About: I got my first dog when I was three and have always had 5+ animals in the house. I am good with any breed of dog. I have some puppy training experience and I can also work with disability animals. I just need to know if they have medication and the time to take them or other accommodations that they might need. I’m not sure if people have reptiles that need sitting but I’m good with those too. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with puppies or any other animals. I have always had a soft spot for animals so I love spending time with them. I have a dog who gets taken potty every couple of hours and is fed every morning and every night. I also have a cat and two leopard geckos. My cat and dog are usually upstairs so I can keep the other animals downstairs if they’re not pet friendly. My geckos stay in my room.

I learned most of what I know about caring for dogs from The Dog Whisperer. He really knows his stuff! Does your dog need walks and some extra training? I can handle that no problem and really enjoy seeing a dog respond to training and play. I use positive reinforcement while working with dogs. I love walking for fitness and love it even more when I have a pup to join me.
