She is scared of everything and does not cooperate with new people without me around but Ella was so patient and got my dog to love and trust her quickly! By the third day my dog was running around the yard with her and eating all her food. When I go to the office I know my dog is in good hands and I don’t have to worry. About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs most of my life and really enjoy connecting with each pet’s unique personality. Caring for my senior dog Benji during his later years taught me a lot about patience and paying attention to the little things that make a big difference in their comfort and happiness. I’m gentle and patient with shy or nervous pets and enjoy creating calm, low-stress environments. But I’m also happy to play and engage with energetic pets to help them burn off energy and feel satisfied by the end of our visit. I’m comfortable administering medications and always treat pets and their homes with respect and care. I work full time during the week, so most of my availability is in the early mornings (6-9 am), evenings (after 5:30 pm), and weekends. There can be some flexibility there if we work it out ahead of time :) I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine as much as possible, and I make sure they still get plenty of attention and care during the times I’m with them. If your pet needs a consistent schedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. When I visit your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable by following their routine closely, keeping their space clean, and paying attention to anything that might seem off. I always double check that doors and windows are secure before I leave. I know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am married to my husband; who travels for work; which i like to pick up if we are on the road. i have always grew up with 3 dogs in my house hold. from a yellow lab, 2 pit bull mixes, corso mastiff, great dane & irish wolfhound! my puppies are my babies! they are family! they sleep in bed with me & cuddle on the couch. i have been dog sitting since i was a junior in high school or even longer. About: I have such a big heart for animals and a connection to them with a passion for taking care of any type of animal! I grew up taking in rescues with my family at home. We have rescued a senior yorkie, four kittens, and a deaf kitty. I currently have one 4 year old maltipoo at home and one goldfish! About: Hello, my name is Thelma! I am currently an ER Vet Tech, for the last 2 years almost, and working in the ECC Dept. for almost 3 years as an assistant. I am familiar & comfortable administration medications, or fluids. Before I entered Vetmed, I found my connection to animals, by dogsitting frequently. Not to mention, the handful of pets I’ve had. I have been dogsitting for multiple years, with all different kind of breeds. Being in Vetmed and working in the ER, I have extended knowledge and experience when it comes to taking care and watching your pets. I work full-time Sun-Tue, leaving the rest of the week to care for your pet(s). During my work week I am unavailable to sit pets since I work morning straight to night. But any other day (with enough time ahead planning wise) I am free to watch and love your pet! I care for pets in my home by making sure gates are secured and collars are always on! i live in an apartment so their safety is my number one priority. I do not have a backyard for them to hang, so I go out on multiple walks a day with pets to ensure no accidents happen and that they are getting the chance to go to the bathroom, stretch their legs and keep active.

About: I am single woman traveling regularly. When I am not on the road I love having pets around and taking care of them and playing with them. I would like to sit at their own place more than having dogs at home but I will try that. I’m currently working three hours in the afternoons. I have plenty of time to take long walks with a dog or play inside with them. I am living in a fenced house at the moment with plenty of room for running in the backyard. I can also fit a couple of crates if needed.
