“We were lucky enough to have Kelly watch our cat Frodo while we were away for a week. She was fantastic and I’d gladly book her again! Before we left she took the time to meet our cat to make sure he was comfortable around her. She also asked lots of questions to make sure she knew his needs and routine. While we were away she gave him lots of love and play time. I really appreciated all the photos she sent and the detailed updates after each visit. It gave me so much peace of mind to know she was taking such good care of our cat. She’s the best!”

“Dominique was absolutely wonderful with our sweet Millie! She was timely for the drop-in and made sure Millie was happy and comfortable by scooping her litter, refilling her food, giving her a treat and playing with her. We could not have asked for a better sitter to give us peace of mind!”

“Finnian was available last min and responded super quickly which is always great in a pinch but not expected. He was open to all my directions for my new puppy and comfortable dropping in without meeting her and not knowing what to expect. Took adorable pics and sent great notes! I do the job full time and so far I’m happy I found him :)”

“Allison was absolutely fantastic! I have 2 cats, Lady and Casey. Casey needs medication twice a day for Hyperthyroidism and IBD. Lady is very timid around strangers. From the moment Allison came over to meet them, both Lady and Casey were comfortable with her. Allison sent pictures while I was away and I was amazed at how engaged Lady was with her. Allison gave Casey his medication while I was away. So happy ! When I came home, I came home to 2 happy cats. She even took in my packages that came while I was away. There are many different people to choose from on Rover and I am grateful I chose Allison! If you're looking for a pet sitter to truly care I highly recommend Allison!!”

About: I've grown up taking care of pets; my childhood cat and my cousin's dog. I've cared for my neighbor's animals and currently have both a cat and a dog. My family and I trained my dog at home and I can help reinforce any training you're doing with your animal. I'm currently a college student in Boston and I'm looking to walk or sit pets as a part-time job and stay connected to my love for animals! During the winter and summer break, I have few commitments and can be very flexible with my hours and your pet's needs. I can do long walks for dogs, feed, play, clean up, and other general needs for both cats and dogs! I'm happy to send photo updates throughout the day if sitting or have flexible hours with whatever time your dog is typically walked!

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 15 I’m now 28. I’ve done dog walking/pet sitting for 3 years now. I love meeting everyone’s dogs and treating them like my own. I run a health business on my phone so I do walks whenever there is someone in need of one. If someone needs helps I’m here. Whatever your request is for your pup I will do in the best of care with the best amount of love and care for your furry one

“everything went exceptionally well with Kevin taking care of Darla and River. Kevin was punctual, followed instructions that were left and interacted with the dogs extremely well. I give him 5 STARS and will use him when his services are required in the future.”

It’s clear she truly cares for and forms genuine connections with the pets she looks after. and we totally appreciated her photo and message updates while we were away!”

About: My passion for animals has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Whether its a lizard like my pet bearded dragon or fluffy dog, I've never encountered a creature that didn't make my heart melt. Growing up with my German Shepherd, Roxy, gave me years of hands on experience caring for her from her energetic puppy days through her senior years with hip issues. I’ve also had the opportunity to house sit and care for friends’ dogs and cats, each with their own personalities and needs. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how important it is to adjust care based on a pet’s age, temperament, and physical abilities. Whether it’s providing an engaging walk for a high energy dog or offering gentle, attentive care to an older pet, I always strive to make each animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine alongside my part-time job. Since my work schedule varies, I’m often available on different days throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I use this flexibility to make time for pet care and ensure I can give each pet the attention and consistency they deserve. I plan ahead to avoid overbooking and to be fully present during walks, visits, or over night stays. Providing reliable, compassionate care is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent experience. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family in a calm, clean, and safe environment. I follow their usual routines for feeding, rest, and play, and I adjust my care based on their age, energy level, and personality. For walks, I make sure each outing is not just exercise, but also mentally engaging and enjoyable. I walk at their pace, pay attention to their comfort, and prioritize safety at all times. Whether it’s an overnight stay or a fun, focused walk, I aim to give your pets the attention, patience, and care they deserve.

About: My family has always had at least one pet. As a child, we had a mutt until I was 6, then when I was 16 we adopted a Golden. My brother now has a loving, excitable Whippet mix, and my sister and brother-in-law have two pit bulls who I am in love with. In the city, I can't afford to have a dog so sitting for someone's pooch would be the next best thing. I come from a respectable background, 12 years of Catholic School, and have a Graduate degree as well. I'm an Actor, Voice-Over Artist and Producer. I have two sweet cats that I’ve always taken very good care of for the past 10 years. The three of us have been through everything together. I always try to keep them on a routine when it comes to feeding and I grew up with dogs where we practice the same type of schedule. I take pets and owner and people safety very seriously. We all love our pets so much and I would never ever want anything to happen. At home, I keep vigilance and make sure my cats are never around anything that could harm them. For example I have one cat who is obsessed with plastic bags, but I will never leave him alone with one..

“Brittany is soo detailed with her work, and follows the directions to the point in order to take care of your furr babies. She is literally the best! Her compassion and care for pets is commendable. This was my second booking with her, and I know I don't have to look any further in future.”

“Jamie did a great job taking care of my cats over the holidays! She was communicative each day and followed all instructions given regarding their care very well! It was a relief to come home after being away to find them (and the house!) in great condition!”

About: Been caring for my Beagle for the last 6 years and I've seen a need for pet owners to have assistance during the day. Although new to the field, I would like help in anyway I can. After a horrible experience with a caretaker who was with my dog overnight one evening, I never want anyone to go through as scary of a situation that I went through. That's why I've come to Rover. I've been taking care of a beagle for years and have seen my neighborhood have a need for assistance with their busy lives where even a 10 minute walk can help an owner breathe for a bit in their hectic lives. Although relatively new to dog walking and sitting, I find myself easy to adapt in many situations while building a great rapport with your furry friend. I want nothing more for them to be happy and the owner to relieved to know their best friend is in great hands. For caring for a pet at home: -They'll be given an AirTag on their collar and shared with the owner (if IPhone is available) in order to see where there pet is at all times. -Frequent photo and video updates as well an written update -Beds, cage, blankets, toys and anything else to make your friend happy.

Megan S.
“Megan is the type of individual you want caring for your pet. She has watched our two corgis numerous times and treats them as if they were her own. They always run to her with excitement. She is reliable, responsible and caring. We feel completely at ease knowing they are in good loving hands while we are away. She has an attention to detail which is so appreciated now that our one corgi is senior and requires more attention, interactive play time and cuddle time. She herself loves the outdoors and is great handling them on leash. It is reassuring to us knowing that she has them out walking getting the necessary exercise. Once you meet Megan you'll feel confident that your pet will be well taken care of by a loving, competent caregiver.”

John D.
“John is my first choice to care for any pet of mine. Not only would I be certain that it would be entirely safe and looked after, but I also know John would go the extra mile to show that animal as much care and affection as he would his own.”
