About: I have spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I genuinely love building trust with every pet I meet. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a calming drop-in visit, or simply making sure your pet feels safe while you’re away, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. My experience includes volunteering with Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter and Stafford Veterinary Hospital, where I worked alongside animal care professionals and gained hands-on experience with dogs of different temperaments, medical needs, and backgrounds. Those experiences taught me how to read canine body language, stay calm in stressful situations, and always put an animal’s comfort and safety first. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I’ll treat your dog like family, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve every visit. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and make your pet’s day a little brighter. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I do my best to accept last-minute bookings whenever possible and understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a drop-in visit while you’re at work or away, I’m committed to providing reliable, consistent care. My goal is to make scheduling easy and ensure your pet receives the attention and companionship they deserve. I believe pets are happiest in the comfort of their own home, where their routine stays familiar and stress is kept to a minimum. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of attention and affection. I take the time to understand your pet’s individual personality and routine, whether they prefer a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply a quiet companion. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own and always follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while giving you complete peace of mind. You’ll receive regular updates and photos after every visit so you always know how your furry family member is doing.
“Bridget is very communicative and took excellent care of our cats while we were away. Sent tons of pictures and made sure they were happy and had all their needs met.”

“Leigh is an amazing pet sitter! She sent daily reports with photos of my fur babies. One of my kitty’s is a little shy but Leigh got her to come out from hiding which means a lot! Highly recommend trusting Leigh with your fur babies !”

About: Hi! I’m Ella, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a small business pet food and grooming store, where I spend my days with dogs and assisting pet owners with their pets’ needs. Being around animals every day has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are when it comes to providing great care. I also have two dogs of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve regularly walked and looked after dogs for friends and family, giving me experience with pets of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, playtime, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I’m currently working part-time so I have a flexible schedule and will always do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs morning, afternoon, or evening visits, I’ll provide reliable, on time care and keep you updated throughout each visit! I provide all pet care in my clients’ homes, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I’ll carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions while making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’ll also treat your home with the utmost respect by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
“We have used Jamie several times now as a sitter for our 2 cats and she always does a wonderful job! The cats are always happy, healthy, and well taken care of upon our returns. Jamie also follows all care directions meticulously which is a big relief when we need to be out of town. Thank you Jamie!”

I will never be able to host in my home, so please consider this! I offer in home care, overnight, daily walks, and check ins. About: My whole life I was surrounded by animals. Even now with my partner having many large energetic dogs, and even having dozens of puppies at one point. I was trusted to take care of their fur babies by staying over night by friends, family, and neighbors. I even have knowledge of taking care of seniors, as my own dog couldn’t walk very well and had bathroom issues. But we made it work with stroller walks and diapers. I am currently a student at brookdale until may 12th then i will be full time at target in Middletown. it is mainly 8 hour shifts and i know that is a long time away from your pups but i will spent the time i am with them to the full extent! I am usually available most of the day and night, but I would like a heads up if you need some pets watched. Even though I don’t offer services in my own home, I do treat your house if I were taking care of mine. I’ll do my best to keep your house tidy and mess free for a stress free arrival.
About: I have such a big heart for animals and a connection to them with a passion for taking care of any type of animal! I grew up taking in rescues with my family at home. We have rescued a senior yorkie, four kittens, and a deaf kitty. I currently have one 4 year old maltipoo at home and one goldfish! In the past we had fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, and lizards at home. Throughout the years I love participating in anything involving innocent fur babies. For two years I pet sit my sisters french bulldog with GI issues and my brothers cat. At the same time I was in a P.A.W.S (protecting animals without stability) club in high school. I currently volunteer at two animal shelters since 2022. After high school I pursued an associates degree in Biology while participating in a veterinary assistant program. I graduated the program and continued on to getting my first full time job at a veterinary hospital as an approved veterinary assistant! Therefore, I have knowledge on animal anatomy, sickness and care procedures. I plan to complete my Biology degree while working full time and helping to take care of your fur babies 💗 I am currently in school pursuing a science degree while working part time at a hospital. I pet sit, house sit and dog walk. I am available weekdays and weekends for any help you need with your fur babies. I am very flexible and work around school to continue my passion of animal care. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holmdel. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
