I was so grateful to find someone like Tina last minute! She accepted my request for cat sitting over Christmas and set up a meet and greet right away. I got lots of pictures and a detailed update for every drop in, so I didn’t have to worry while I was away. I would definitely request Tina again as a sitter.

About: Back on Rover after a two-year hiatus and excited to meet some new furry friends! I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, and as a dog mom myself, I know pets are family. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. I work from home, so I have the flexibility to provide personalized care, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and all the little details that make them unique - from their favorite toy, walking route, and feeding schedule to treat preferences, commands, medications, and any fears or anxieties. The more I know, the better I can make their time with me feel like another normal day. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and will care for your pet as if they were my own. You'll receive regular updates, lots of photos, and open communication every step of the way. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! I work a hybrid schedule and am home most evenings and weekends, giving me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and quality one-on-one time. I always do my best to accommodate your pet's routine and your scheduling needs. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special needs before our visit. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighborhood walks or more adventurous hikes and trails, I'll tailor our time together to their age, health, and energy level while always respecting your preferences.

Marie was so good with Claire. Both seemed immediately very comfortable with each other. It gave me a real sense of ease to leave my very senior dog in Marie's care. I came home to a calm, relaxed dog after a couple of visits from Marie and me being gone most of the day. I will definitely reach out to Marie again to look after Claire when I need to be away from home.

Nick did 3 drop-in visits to take care of our 2 cats while we were away for the week. He followed our instructions to a T and left the house very clean - we didn’t even see any stray litter on the floors when we got back. Nick seemed very caring with the cats and took the time to pet and get to know each of them. Even our 1 shy cat was comfortable with him. He even offered to water our plants and take in our mail and delivered packages while we were away. We will definitely use Nick in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

I am adept at handling everything from basic training reinforcement to complex walks and am ready to welcome your beloved dog into my care. 🌟 Why Choose Me? (The Energy Advantage!) The High-Energy Expert: Training for a half marathon means I have miles to burn! If you have a high-octane dog that needs a serious run (not just a walk), I'm your girl. I love giving dogs the focused exercise they need to be happy and well-behaved at home. Experience & Trust: With a background spanning over a decade, I bring a calm, knowledgeable presence. You can trust that I will treat your home and your dog with the utmost respect and care, ensuring their routine is maintained and their safety is always the top priority. Services Offered 🏡 House Sitting (Your Home, Their Comfort) I stay in your home, providing around-the-clock companionship and care. This is perfect for dogs who thrive in their own environment. I manage feeding, medications, playtime, walks, and make sure they feel safe and loved until your return. 🚶 Dog Walking (Customized Exercise) From a brisk 30-minute neighborhood walk to a high-intensity run for the athletic pup, I offer personalized exercise designed to match your dog's specific needs and stamina. ⏱️ Drop-In Visits (Quick & Comprehensive) Ideal for quick check-ins, potty breaks, feeding, and a little playtime/snuggle time. I make sure their basic needs are met and they get a happy human interaction to break up their day. I look forward to meeting your furry family member and becoming their trusted caregiver! I work from home so have flexibility to work from anywhere and stop to play/walk/feed/etc. whenever is needed! I run my own consulting business so my hours are my own to build around what is needed and can flex on any given day. I am a loving pet parent myself and will treat your dog just like my own with lots of cuddles, pets and playtime. If they just need someone to be near, I can stay in your home for most of the day and try to keep life as normal for them as possible while you're away. If they crave socialization, I can also bring to play with my 2 year old lab in our fenced in yard, as needed/wanted.

About: With over 11 years of professional pet care experience, caring for animals isn't just my job—it's my passion. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles within the animal care field, giving me a well-rounded understanding of pets and their individual needs. I've worked in several animal shelters in positions ranging from Animal Care Technician, Adoptions Counselor, Customer Service Representative, and even Shelter Manager. I've also worked at multiple doggy daycares, where I started as a Daycare Attendant in the playrooms and worked my way up to Assistant General Manager. In addition, I spent time working as a Veterinary Technician, which gave me valuable hands-on medical experience and strengthened my knowledge of animal health and care. I am also Fear-Free Certified! At home, my life revolves around my fur babies! I currently have six cats and four dogs (two of my dogs live with my mom). One of those pups is an 8-year-old Chiweenie with stranger danger, resource guarding, partial blindness, Cushing's disease, and diabetes, requiring daily insulin injections and consistent medical care. My other family dog is a sweet 10-year-old Basset Hound. Caring for pets with special medical or behavioral needs has given me firsthand experience, patience, and confidence in handling a wide variety of situations. My experience has taught me how to work with pets of all personalities and temperaments—from confident social butterflies to fearful or reactive animals. If your pet experiences stranger danger, I'll gladly schedule multiple meet-and-greets so we can build trust at your pet's pace. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress, and positive experience for everyone involved. I'm experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections, oral medications, and other routine treatments. I understand how critical it is for pets to receive their medications on time and exactly as directed, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, shy, or has special medical or behavioral needs, you can rest easy knowing they're in experienced, compassionate hands. I hope to hear from you and your fur baby (or babies) soon!🐾 Pet care is currently my full-time job, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate my time to giving your furry family members the care and attention they deserve. Every pet (and every pet parent!) has different needs, and I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict routine, needs multiple potty breaks, requires medications at specific times, or simply enjoys extra cuddles and playtime, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident while you're away. Please let me know what you're looking for in your pet's care, and together we'll create a plan that keeps your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're gone. I always treat the home and the fur babies as if it was my own. Everything must be treated with love and respect. Always respect the animals space when they want it as well.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tinton Falls. On Rover:

  • 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
