I've worked in several animal shelters in positions ranging from Animal Care Technician, Adoptions Counselor, Customer Service Representative, and even Shelter Manager. I've also worked at multiple doggy daycares, where I started as a Daycare Attendant in the playrooms and worked my way up to Assistant General Manager. In addition, I spent time working as a Veterinary Technician, which gave me valuable hands-on medical experience and strengthened my knowledge of animal health and care. I am also Fear-Free Certified! At home, my life revolves around my fur babies! I currently have six cats and four dogs (two of my dogs live with my mom). One of those pups is an 8-year-old Chiweenie with stranger danger, resource guarding, partial blindness, Cushing's disease, and diabetes, requiring daily insulin injections and consistent medical care. My other family dog is a sweet 10-year-old Basset Hound. Caring for pets with special medical or behavioral needs has given me firsthand experience, patience, and confidence in handling a wide variety of situations. My experience has taught me how to work with pets of all personalities and temperaments—from confident social butterflies to fearful or reactive animals. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I also have my own two dogs that I walk and feed. As well one of my dogs take medication so I also know how to do that.
