I work full-time Sun-Tue, leaving the rest of the week to care for your pet(s). During my work week I am unavailable to sit pets since I work morning straight to night. But any other day (with enough time ahead planning wise) I am free to watch and love your pet! I care for pets in my home by making sure gates are secured and collars are always on! i live in an apartment so their safety is my number one priority. I do not have a backyard for them to hang, so I go out on multiple walks a day with pets to ensure no accidents happen and that they are getting the chance to go to the bathroom, stretch their legs and keep active.

About: Hi! Thank you for thinking about boarding with us. For 17 years I have taken care of a sensitive, high maintenance Italian Greyhound named Primo. He was my best buddy. We moved together a bunch of times from the city to his final home here in Ocean NJ. He was super sensitive to sound and people. He had a strict diet and didn't get along with all dogs. This didn't stop us from socializing him with other Italian greyhounds and small dogs with NYC Meetups and playdates. When we moved into our house we would try to make it down to dog beach in Asbury. For 10 years, Laura helped care for her parents dog, Gomez (a shepherd mix), when they were away. It was an outside dog and was a bundle of energy, always running circles and plopping down at your feet for pets and excited for walks on the Henry Hudson Bike Trail. Now that Primo and Gomez have passed on, we have found that we still have love to give to furry friends. We'd love to host your best friend and take care of them the way we have cared for our family pets. Laura and I both work full time from home, with Laura only commuting to the office 3-4 times a month. I can walk your dog twice a day or just let them our into the yard. If they prefer to be outside, that is also great. We've lived here for a couple of years and installed a fence for our child, Rami and the late-Primo. The house has exterior security cameras, and a fenced in yard that can be locked. We can offer 2 walks a day in addition to outside yard time. We'll provide plenty of attention and pets as well! Rami is 4 years old and does well with dogs. Because of his age we can only board non-aggressive, small and medium-sized dogs.

About: Since the day I was born and came home I already had my furry friend that soon became my best friend for life. And he changed my life! Currently I am working part Monday. As for Tuesday to Saturday I’m here to take care of your pet(s)! I’m available in the morning starting 7AM. Request in advance for quicker response. About: I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a half where I took care of the cats and dogs there, I also worked at a dog groomer that had a daycare. I worked with many dogs of different ages and personalities. I also took care of a family members dog who was blind and needed daily eye drops. I'm able to check in on your pets or walk your dogs any day of the week after 12pm. I can be scheduled as a last minute person for your pets. I will give as many pictures and updates as you want about your pet, so you can see how they're doing. I'll follow all their routines and schedules you give me.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and am a huge dog lover. As I have yet to get a pup of my own, I’ve been sitting for family, friends, and family friends for more than 5 years, where I mainly housesit. I’ve had experience watching dogs of all ages, from grumpy seniors with medication to lively puppies who need extra clean up time, to anxious Covid babies. I am very detail-oriented as I respect that each dog has their personal routine and want to ensure that not much is disrupted for them when I visit/stay. I understand the importance of keeping in contact with owners (only to the extent that you wish to be contacted) throughout the day. I guarantee that I will take plenty of photos of your pet and will be happy to share them! Note: I am based in LES, NYC for the summer. I work fully remotely, so I'm flexible to working with your pet's schedule when housesitting. I'm available for afternoon walks, or to come to housesit from the evenings usually. I'm also willing to travel to housesit (I've travelled to DC before!), though this would require travel coverage as part of compensation. ***For house sits of 1 week or longer, I ask owners to support in covering my meals. Gift cards or a stocked fridge are very much appreciated! *** I tend to ask clients for a document with their pet's daily routine, and how their behaviours are. I will care for your pets as you would advise to care for them in order to maintain consistency and not confuse them. Afterall, I am the guest in staying in their space should I be housesitting.
