“We could not have had a better care taker for our two golden retrievers than Angelica! She walked, played, did training games, and gave our girls lots of love and attention. We give Angelica the highest rating and recommendation and will definitely use her again. Two big dogs are a lot of work and she went above and beyond! Thank you so much!”

“If you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible dog sitter; Jim is your guy! Jim watched Kali for 4 days when we were away and he was fantastic with her and was very communicative. Our girl requires A LOT of attention and he delivered. Jim even texted to ask where the towels were when Kali got wet after a walk. We can’t thank Jim enough and will most certainly use him again! - Dawry, Shirley, & Kali D. ??”

About: I understand that pets are family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have extensive experience providing in-home pet care, including administering medications, maintaining daily routines, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve while their owners are away. In addition to caring for dogs, I've also cared for gardens and chickens, making me a dependable choice for both your pets and your home. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable. As an elementary school teacher, I have a flexible schedule throughout the year and am especially available during the summer months when I am off from school. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care to your pets. Whether you need daily visits, overnight care, or last-minute help, I am committed to being a dependable resource for you and your furry family members. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and specific needs to ensure they feel secure and well cared for while you're away. I maintain a calm, positive environment, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind. Whether it's a walk, overnight stay, or drop-in visit, I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own.
“Kamryn was very sweet and understanding of our terrified but quirky girl. Kamryn took great care of her and kept us up to date with anything going on which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Madison was beyond phenomenal!!! She made me feel at ease every step of the way. Her communication with me was exactly what I needed to make me feel at ease leaving my new rescue kitty in her care. I can not recommend her enough! Will definitely be using her for every trip I have. My cat loved her as well!! She is so kind and caring and took care of my baby like he was her own. If I could give her a million stars I would!!”

“Jenna was amazing with our three cats. They were well looked after the entire week. Jenna was punctual, thorough, and made sure we were kept in the loop at all times. We highly recommend her, A+!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.

“Kelly has been helping me with my two small dogs, Gigi and Roxie. She is very loving towards them while handling feeding, pee pad cleanup, and whatever else they may need while I am out of town.”

“Christina did a terrific job taking care (2 visits daily) of our 2 cats. Most importantly she paid strict attention to our detailed instructions and was very attentive to our cats' needs, including playing with them and giving them affection. We could tell immediately our cats were in good hands! Communication with Christina throughout the week was excellent.”

About: I have had cats and a dog my entire life, and not only love playing with them, but taking care of them! I have also taken care of many dogs and cats of my neighbors and or friends where i ensure to follow their exact directions and be punctual every day for their pets. In high school, it was part of my daily routine to take my dog on a long walk before and after school, giving him the best care despite my busy schedule. As a fourth year student at Penn State, I have a lot of free time as I do not have many classes this semester. I am available during many afternoons when many are unable to care for their pets. I would care for a let in my clients home with the most upmost respect, treating their home as it was mine. I plan to only walk/feed pets, but while I am in my clients home I will leave it as it was
About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. I would say I’m a pretty neat person and don’t mind cleaning up if anything is needed. Genuinely it makes me happy to help others around the house if necessary. I used to babysit for a while and would always tidy up when I could find the time. I recently moved and now live with my grandparents and mom. We also have a chocolate lab who’s very energetic and loves to play. We have a fenced in yard and a conservation close to our house so there’s plenty of space for the animals. We love having dogs in the house.
“Maeghan was so wonderful with our pups Checkers and Ava! She arrived on time and provided top notch care during her visit. She communicated all aspects of the visit to us and kindly provided photos. Maeghan is professional and we felt very safe with our dogs in her care. Highly recommended!”

About: I have spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I genuinely love building trust with every pet I meet. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a calming drop-in visit, or simply making sure your pet feels safe while you’re away, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. My experience includes volunteering with Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter and Stafford Veterinary Hospital, where I worked alongside animal care professionals and gained hands-on experience with dogs of different temperaments, medical needs, and backgrounds. Those experiences taught me how to read canine body language, stay calm in stressful situations, and always put an animal’s comfort and safety first. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I’ll treat your dog like family, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve every visit. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and make your pet’s day a little brighter. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I do my best to accept last-minute bookings whenever possible and understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a drop-in visit while you’re at work or away, I’m committed to providing reliable, consistent care. My goal is to make scheduling easy and ensure your pet receives the attention and companionship they deserve. I believe pets are happiest in the comfort of their own home, where their routine stays familiar and stress is kept to a minimum. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of attention and affection. I take the time to understand your pet’s individual personality and routine, whether they prefer a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply a quiet companion. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own and always follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while giving you complete peace of mind. You’ll receive regular updates and photos after every visit so you always know how your furry family member is doing.
“So amazing! Very accommodating and attentive and willing to keep in touch with you. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs, knowing they would be well taken care of.”

“Olivia was fantastic with our two labs and highly recommend her. She provided such great care as our fur babies looked so happy from all the pics that Olivia sent. Communication was fantastic as well!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Scobeyville. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
