“Melissa checked in on my cat for a week - she left my home cleaner than she found it! Super grateful for her help and will definitely be rebooking in the future”

“Elizabeth is absolutely amazing! We can’t thank her enough for taking care of our new little kitten. We’re excited to have her back to take care of our dogs soon!”

“Took very good care of my 4 very different and sometimes challenging kitties while I was away. She took the job last minute after my previously booked sitter had to cancel the day before I left. So grateful and would definitely use again.”

“I felt totally secure while I was away on vacation knowing that my pet Wrecks was being cared for. She visited my home and even sent me pictures that warmed my heart while I was away! Will truly never use anyone else!! So so so great!”

“Briana is amazing! Our kittens were so well taken care of and we received pictures every day while we were away. We were very comforted & they were in great care. Highly recommend!”

“Makaila has won the heart and trust of my baby girl. Milo is so sciddish around other people. When I first had Makaila take care of her (about a year ago) she would run and hide and Makaila would have to search her out to finally find her to give her inhaler due to her asthma. Now Makaila has been able to pet her and receive some loving from Milo. Makaila Keeps me informed with pictures, videos and constant communication of her visit with Milo. Makaila is a gem! I can go away and have peace knowing my baby girl is well loved and taken care of ❤️”

“Heidi is very thorough and came by to learn the details before i left. Very communicative and sweet with the animals to make sure they got enough of everything they need. So nice to have caring cat sitters for my toothless cat!”

“Communication was a little difficult, and we benefited from a flexible schedule, but they got my normally reserved cat to open up and play with them, so I can wholly believe that they were taking the absolute best care of my pet.”

“Kate’s first visit was an orientation and she was back today to run through the routine with me standing by in case she had any questions. It also gave my cat a chance to get to know her a little better. Kate remembered pretty much everything we went over during our first visit and did a good job with feeding my cat and changing the litter box. Unfortunately, my cat got a little spicy because she is shy with strangers. Kate took it all in stride. She was very professional and I plan to rebook her.”

About: I grew up with 3 dogs, today both my sisters have a dog; a Golden Retriever & a German Shepard. I have watched and cared for both of them, as well as pet/house sitting for other family & friends. I also became a cat dad when I adopted a six year old cat three years ago! I just moved to CT so while I search for a job I decided to join Rover!! 6am-10pm 7 days a week I am available! I can be an early bird or a night owl & I love all animals! I can take your pet on a long run or a short walk and anything in between! Most of my experience is with bigger dog breeds like German Shepard, Golden Retriever, & Pit Bull. I have also cared for French Bull Dogs and other unknown dog breeds. I would love to work with any animals! My favorite part is learning how unique each animals is & getting to know their personalities!!

About: New to Rover but not to pet sitting! My family has had dogs my whole life. As the oldest child in my household, I was responsible for all the little guys. Now I have an adorable, sassy cat at home who is a constant reminder of respectful boundaries and unconditional love. I’ve been a contact for family and friends when they need someone to watch or check in with their fur babies. I always want to make sure you and your pet are comfortable around me. I would be honored to care for your best friend. Don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding my services and we’ll see if I’m a good fit for you. I am currently in between jobs so I have a wide range of availability! In the future, I expect to be working part to full time during normal workweek hours 9-5, so would have more availability in early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby many dog-friendly trails. To stay at my home, your dog must be comfortable with cats, potty trained, and overall well-behaved. My cat has not had experience with other cats in our home so that is not something I am comfortable with. Around your home, I am happy to stick to whatever practices and routines are familiar and comfortable for your pet.

About: Throughout the years, I've taken care of friends dogs and more recently, my roommates super sweet pitbull. I love her dearly. On weekends, we can be found snuggled together on the couch watching Emily in Paris. I am responsible, thoughtful, and caring and the perfect person to walk or watch your dog when you need. I work full time 9-5 but work remote, so my schedule is decently flexible with the exception of some morning meetings that run anywhere from 8-12. I do have the flexibility to come before the start of the workday though and do remote work from your home. I am also able to do nights after the workday as well. I've walked and fed my roommates dog. I can provide dog walking/potty breaks as well as general dog sitting for the day or night :)

“Aimee is wonderful! She is easy, flexible, and reliable. And wonderful with animals. Great person and petsitter!”

“Excellent - highly recommended! She took care of our 2 kitties and kept us posted on everything while we were away. Will definitely have Amy take care of our kitties again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for 30 years. I grew up around cats and have cared for them for 30 years. I have taken care of dogs for 16 years and also have 20 years experience of taking care of bunnies and guinea pigs as well. I currently work part time so I’m pretty flexible in the mornings and afternoons to do drop ins. If it’s midday, I do have a lunch break at work and can take care of pets during that time. I feed my pets on a regular schedule, always making sure they have fresh food and water. In my clients home, I will adhere to any rules, or tasks that they ask me to do. My goal is to make my clients feel at ease with me caring for their pet so that they don’t need to worry about them when they are not home. They’ll know they are in good hands.

“Catherine did a fantastic job caring for my elderly cat. She made sure to follow the care instructions to the letter, she took a variety of pictures (which put my mind at ease) and even left a nice little note. I really appreciated her communication before the first visit and the report cards she shared after each visit. I will be rebooking Catherine from here on out. Thank you!”

Connor S.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Connor as a pet sitter/care taker. He is a natural-born animal lover who has never met an animal he didn’t adore (and the feeling is always mutual). There’s an unspoken trust between him and every animal he encounters…it’s clear they sense his kind and gentle nature. As someone who believes that animals are the best judge of character, I’ll let them “speak” for themselves… as they always seem to gravitate toward him with ease, affection, and complete comfort. Any pet in his care is in loving, capable and trustworthy hands”

Caitlyn R.
“Cait did an amazing job watching my two dogs, Brutus and Koda, and my cat, Bean, over the long weekend. I was a little nervous to leave them for that long, but she really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She kept me updated every day with photos and little check-ins, which helped me relax knowing they were in good hands. Brutus can be a little anxious when I’m gone, and Cait was super patient with him — even figured out that he settles better when he gets his favorite blanket during downtime. Koda has a ton of energy, and Cait made sure he got plenty of playtime and walks to tire him out. At one point, Bean somehow knocked her food bowl behind the fridge (classic), and Cait didn’t just leave it — she actually moved the fridge, found it, and cleaned up the mess without even making a big deal out of it. I didn’t even know that was possible, honestly. I came home to a clean apartment, happy pets, and a note from Cait with a little summary of the weekend. It was such a thoughtful touch. I could tell she really cared about making sure everything was done right. Would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable, kind, and super capable pet sitter.”
