They were great and immediately knew what to do with exercising and treating her like family. It helps that they have a big front lawn and had other dogs staying with them too! Kona made great friends judging from the pics. But most importantly, they went out of their way to be her dog handler for us on our wedding day. They made our special day even more magical by letting Kona participate in the ceremony as our dog of honor. She was tired for 2 full days after we picked her up! That’s a long time for a GSP. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: I worked at a well-known dog daycare along with their doggy spa for over a year, feeding, medicating, exercising, bathing and more. I have trained my dog to do many things. I also have done a number of dog sitting, watching and walking and am super reliable. I am currently attending school at SUNY Cortland and am home and available everyday, anytime during the months of December until January 26th, March 16-20 and all summer starting May 15th. Summer times may vary depending on other summer jobs, but during these breaks I am fully available to have plenty of time for your pets! I have a big yard in a very secluded are in the woods, a mile from the main road and far up the driveway from the dirt road. I have one friendly pup to keep your furry friend company, she is very social and loves to play! There are many conservation areas around to go for walks or a swim.

If necessary, for separation/calm down time, I have a baby gate available that can break up my kitchen and living room and I also have a spare room upstairs. About: No rule will be bent, no abnormal behavior will go unreported, and no tummy will be left unrubbed! I've done it all! Boarding, overnights, drop in visits, walks, appointment escort, etc... I just love animals. I've never met an animal I didn't get along with and never feel better than when one returns that love. I know it can be challenging and, frankly, scary to trust someone else with your pets- they're family after all! That's why I consider the role of pet sitter as the most important part of my day. You want pictures? You got 'em! You need updates? Expect a detailed text! You want someone to reassure your babies to not worry and their mom(s)/dad(s) will be home soon? I will be as clear with them as if they were a human child! I get it, you worry they will feel scared when you aren't home. That's why I am here. Food, walks, and playtime are all well and good, but I believe it is just as important to make them feel as comfortable as I can with as much reassurance as I can give. I am a weekly volunteer at Kitty Harbor in Griswold so when it comes to cats, I am experienced in all sorts of mishaps- litter accidents, dirty butt, scratch boo boos, and more. I am also experienced in administering medication. Of course, if you're kitty has a way that works for them, then that's how we'll get it done! As for the pups, I am always excited to get a chance to go for a walk or even a full on hike! Exercise is always more fun when a four legged friend is involved. If you're training a young puppy, or even an old fellow, just let me know exactly when I should be disallowing and you can feel comfortable they won't be learning any bad behavior from me. One last note: boundaries are so important. Every animal is different and every animal has their own limits. If your kitty doesn't like to be pet, then no pets they shall have. If your dog doesn't like to be watched while they eat, then my eyes shall be shut. I hate being stressed, why would I put that on anyone else? I work a 9-5 in Norwich so I am available early mornings and evenings for visits. If you're in Norwich, I can be available mid day for a lunch time drop in as well. I have reliable transportation and a desire to start and/or end my day with furry friends. As for weekends, I am always booked afternoon into the evening on Sunday for my time with the kitties at the Kitty Harbor, but other than that I can have plenty of room on the weekends to add your babies in to my routine. Routine and boundaries. Whatever they are used to, that's what they'll get from me! I hate being stressed, why would I want to do anything to make an animal unnecessarily stressed?

“Erica, Thomas, and their family were amazing to my sweet Kona! She’s a young GSP so she’s very active and high energy. She’s a great dog but not everyone can handle her energy level. They were great and immediately knew what to do with exercising and treating her like family. It helps that they have a big front lawn and had other dogs staying with them too! Kona made great friends judging from the pics. But most importantly, they went out of their way to be her dog handler for us on our wedding day. They made our special day even more magical by letting Kona participate in the ceremony as our dog of honor. She was tired for 2 full days after we picked her up! That’s a long time for a GSP. So grateful!”
