About: I've had dogs my entire life and cared for pets of others as well through the years. My husband and I both work from home so we have availability to look after the pets of others daily. We have a dog a cat who get along with other pets. We have adopted puppies and young adult dogs and successfully trained them to be very good dogs. We have cared for senior dogs as well. In our home the pets can be wherever the humans are, including the furniture indoors and outside. I am self employed and work from home so my daily schedule is very open for pet sitting. My husband also works from home so there is always someone home to look after the pets and make sure their needs are being met. Our home is very dog friendly. Everywhere humans can be the dogs can be also. The backyard is fenced in and the gate is rarely ever opened. We have cameras everywhere so we always have a visual of what's going on inside and outside in the yard. If needed we have a baby gate to section off areas for pets.
“We reached out to Maria for a last-minute request and she was not only able to accommodate, but was very flexible with us. Sika had an awesome time lounging around with Maria and her family; I thought we may have a hard time getting her to come home with us! 🤣 We will definitely be reaching out to Maria in the future for any of our sitting needs for Sika in this area!”
“Tiffany was very nice and easy to schedule with to take care of Sakura at last minute pretty much! She kept us updated of everything and Sakura liked her son too! Thank you so much Tiffany!! We appreciate you!”

“Brandy is an amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking day care for their fur family members. She went above and beyond keeping me updated on how my dog was doing in her care and is truly passionate about providing too notch care for dogs.”

“Brydget and Chad are amazing! My puppy had so much fun while being in their care and looked so happy in every pic they sent. They are very communicative and attentive to your dogs needs. I will definitely be using them for all our daycare needs going forward”

About: Hello! We are an animal obsessed family with a huge yard! I have 3 dogs (a female pug age 9, a silly female doodle dog, and a male medium mixed breed) so if I am caring for your pet in my home I would ask they be dog friendly to my babies. ***we also have a 5 year old boy, and a 2 year old boy ,so must be kid friendly! I have a large fenced in yard and acres of land. We love all dog breeds, and dogs of all sizes, however my male dog is scared of large male dogs and I have a fragile pug so I prefer if the dog is large, he/she be calmer. I am very passionate about animals. My husband and I are huge pet lovers and we will welcome your babies with open arms. We also have a separate temp controlled building/tiny house if your pet prefers a quiet environment. Either my husband or myself will be home most of the day, longest we would be away is 2-3 hours, so your fur baby will get plenty of attention. We have a few acres for your pet to exercise. There are plenty of dog friends to play with any day at our pet palace! Along with our own dogs, we sometimes have foster dogs from a local rescue! There is a fenced area with a pool if your dog would like swimming time. They will have 24 hr supervision. I will accommodate to your specific feeding schedule etc. Either my husband or I are home almost 24/7! Lauren works part time and from home so your baby will get all the love! We have lots of experience with administering meds, we also foster for Coastal Pet Rescue and have plenty of experience with medication schedules, specific diets. *We do have small children in home. We take care of all pets as if they were our own, of course! We will make your pets feel comfortable while you are away! Your pets will feel comfortable and safe until their mom/dad returns.
About: I have taken personal care of my Pug that my family owns. We have had her since she was a puppy so I learned how to do the basic necessities of caring for a puppy up to adulthood. I recently was able to adopt a dog from the shelter who has needed lots of training and love. I have taken him in to learn more about training and the behaviors in shelter dogs. I love my rescue! I have been doing rover since May 2024. I have sat a variety of dogs! I am very happy to help! I am working part-time. I will be free most weeks to care for your dogs. I am very flexible and happy to be there when needed. I make it a high priority for dogs to get frequent potty breaks and tons of exercise. I like to take dogs on walks in the morning and evening! I have a 24/7 pet camera that allows me to check in on your pet during times when I may have to step out. I always make sure to put a leash on dog before opening any doors. I also make sure to give the dog my full attention when taken outside. I make sure all dogs have a very comfy place to sleep.

About: I have always had a pet in my life, and I love animals! I haven't met a dog or cat that I haven't hit it off with, and I would love the opportunity to get to know your fur baby :) My dog is definitely quirky and a bit of scaredy cat, so I know what it's like to be worried to leave your dog with someone! I have a lot of patience from my experience as a teacher, and I will make sure your fur baby feels at home! People tell me I have a calming presence, and so far it has helped with initial pet anxiety! I want to make sure you have peace of mind when you're away and that your baby has a great day :) Thank you for considering me! I am a dog mom to a chill border collie and a sassy cocker spaniel. By day, I am a romantic comedy author and a graphic designer, so my schedule is flexible and I’d love to spend some time with your fur baby/babies 🐶 My cocker spaniel would appreciate it too. lol. I want to work with you to make sure your pet is given the best possible care! I work from home so I am happy to come to you or share my home with your fur baby :) I will do everything possible so that your pet is comfortable and feels safe in their environment. Let me know what your baby enjoys and what makes them feel most at home! My dog is a bit of a scaredy cat, so I know how hard it can be with strangers and I have a lot of patience from my experience as a teacher. I love spending time with animals and haven't found a dog or cat that I haven't hit it off with yet!

“Our Chocolate Lab spent the day with Marston and his 2 pups while we explored Savanna. This is my first experience using Rover and it is intimidating to leave our sweet Charlie with someone we do not know. I read his reviews and was confident I was making the right decision. Once we met him and his dogs I knew Charlie was in good hands. Charlie ran right in to party. He sent pictures of their adventures. Charlie came home exhausted. I highly recommend Marston.”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. From the pups I grew up with to my soul dog Lacey, who has inspired this Rover journey. They are the purest creatures on this earth and taking the time to connect with each and every one that comes way, brings me so much happiness 🐾🤍 Life can be unpredictable so I’m here to make things a little easier! Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend trip or a daily walk, I’ve got you (and your best friend) covered ✔️ I am a proud & protective dog mama myself — when your pup is with me, you can trust they will be cared for as my own. I know just how important it is to feel confident when leaving a member of the family in someone else’s hands and I take that responsibility to heart 🫶🏼

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
